Welcome to the Fun in the Sun Thread! This will be an informal RP where members can surf, flirt, throw sand at each other, tan ect.. No character sheets will be established. Throwing water balloons and stealing kisses is encouraged. If you have fun here head on over to the RPG subforum and check out what's up over there! To get your minds churning a little I have provided some visual aides. To start, here is our locale:  Some fun activites you can engage in are  Beach Volley Ball! Sand castle building...?!  Even Surfing! Looks like there's some sweet waves out there! So head on out to the beach and have some fun!

The beach. A fresh, salty breeze blows over you as you head down towards the glistening water. On the sand people have spread out towels and blankets and here and there you can hear snippets of songs from peoples radios as you pass. Parents watch their children with a cautious eye as they splash around in the shallow water and run back and forth on the sand. In the distance, surfers are in line waiting for waves and skimming back toward the shore. The sky is bright, and clear a vivid blue with a few puffy clouds drifting slowly over heard. Palm trees bend ever so slightly in the wafts of wind and even the sound of sea gulls puts your mind at ease. Further down to the north, nets are set up for volley ball, though no one is playing at the moment. Behind you, pavilions stand where people can grill, sit in the shade and have snacks. Most people tend to leave their beach toys and coolers in the pavilions, until needed. You smile. It looks like you are going to have a wonderful time. Now, if only you could find somewhere to put your towel…

Nick charged onto the beach, half naked with his oxymoronic firey swimming turnks tight against his waist and a plain white towel over his head like some sort of turban, a small sand shovel in his hand. With a stupid grin plastered on his face, he looks around, seeing if he can find anyone he recognizes. A soft frown replaces this expression as he realizes his buddies had not yet arrived. "Argh," he sighed. "Nobody's ever here when I am. They better get here, I'm not doing this by myself..."
With a few minutes of searching, he found a nice patch of sand where nobody else was, and placed his towel against the ground. He held a hand to his brow to keep the sun out of his light, sparkling brown eyes as he watched the waves. "Might have to go hang out out there sometime while I'm here..." He tilted his head back, looking for a familiar car or bike, and finding none, gripped his handle and eyed a patch of sand. "Time to start digging. Heheh."
With vigor, the teen shouted out a battle cry as he stabbed the ground with his shovel, tossing the sand haphazardly all over his towel and innocent bystanders.

((YES! THIS is what I intentionally dressed for!))
Juicy drink in hand and lips glossed and plumped, Claire Croft danced on the sand next to a DJ booth (in this case, really a loud stereo). Loudly shouting her heart out, probably singing along with some of the music, she also called out to anyone who would listen to join her on the so-called "dance floor."
Claire looked around the beach and figured there would be much to do this season while the party was on. Surfing would definitely have to be marked as part of her to-do list for later on. Unfortunately, since the place still seemed to be silent, she had to entertain herself for the time being.

Green skidded over the hot sand, trying to make minal contact with her feet until she reached cooler surfaces. She doused her burning soles in the cool, foamy waves, then retreated to her towel and spread out like a starfish. The hot sun tingled her skin. She adjusted her pink sunglasses over her eyes and closed her lids.
Time for a nap and a tan . . .

The day was hot, but there was a slight breeze coming from over the ocean. Chibi stepped out of the changing rooms to see three solitary figure on the beach. Being a sociable person, she approaches a girl in a pink sun dress standing on a lonely dance floor.
"Hi! My name is Chibi! People call me that because I act like those little hyperactive anime girls. What's your name?"
Chibi extends her hand enthusiastically.
"And can you tell me where you got that drink? It looks yummy!"

"Oh wow! eek there aren't many people here yet but hey it'll still be fun"
*walks over to this kid and starts to dig into the sand*
Yay! sand castles! mine is going to be awsome!
*looks over at the kid and realizes that it is nick*
*ponders to herself*"This could get interesting" twisted
*digs her shovel deep into the sand and tosses sand aside at the kid*
"Oh I'm sorry my bad that was completely an accident"
*sees Chibi and waves, and starts walking over there*

Li-mei walks over to Green and ask her if she liked to use her sunblock lotion before she starts to turn into a lobster xp

Green is startled from her nap by the cheery question.
"Wha? Huh? Oh."
She looks down at herself and feels the pinking skin begin to tart. "Oh no! Please!" she replies to Li-Mei, holding her hand out for the sunblock.
"Ouchy-ouch!"

*Dew, runs skidding across the sandy beach, not paying much attention to anything but the water* xd
*Suddenly realizes there seems to be no sand under her feet as she falls into a large hole dug in the sand*
"Yikes!" burning_eyes
*Sits up slightly dazed, and looks around her, seeing sand flying from nearby she carefully climbs out of the hole and heads toward the flying sand*
"Oh! Hi bug!" *Pounces on her younger brother as he is diligently working* "Hard at work or hardly working?" 4laugh

"What was that noise?"
Chibi turns around to examine the chaos. She sees her friend Dew crawling out of a sand pit. Without taking time to explain, she dashes over to her friend leaving the mysterious girl with fruity drink on the dance floor.
"Dew! Are you okay? I saw your crawling out of a hole!"

Chibi has a quizzical look on her face, but then dies laughing when she see's Nick.
"I'm betting that Nick did that to you!"
She turns to Nick.
"What are you doing with all of that sand?"

*After Green put some sunblock on her very pink skin Li-mei gets her sunblock back and heads over to Chibi and Dew to see what nick is doing*
