Has anyone notcied that in some yaoi mangas, the sex, groping, love-making can be anywhere, anytime, regardless of the setting (especially on-the-floor-against-wall-etc.)? (I mean in a particular story, the characters had sex inside a cave on the beach WTF? and in another, the couple makes out on a fence).
Does anyone else find this somewhat... disturbing??? Or worse yet, what about in real life?

Well lots of BL stories tend to lean toward the "PWP" side ... and the yaoiverse seems to be one consisting mainly of fanservice. : D;;
I guess writers/manga-ka/etc. just take whatever chance they can get to cook up some mansex. IDK. I'm a fluff person, myself x)

Sort of off topic, but in real life, I get really disgusted when I see couples making out in public. gonk I don't mind if it's a gay couple (lolololbiased), because then I just wanna watch; but watching a teenage straight couple sharing saliva makes me want to kill myself. And the other day I saw this middle-aged hispanic man lick his wife's earlobe in the mall. I was like OH GOD TIME AND PLACE FOR EVERYTHING, AND THIS IS NOT IT. crying

It gets a little outrageous... That's one thing that tends to put me off some things is the large amount of PWP.
I appreciate and enjoy it as much as the next person, but a little plot and substance, if you please??

It WOULD be a nice change. :/ I tried to kiss my (ex)boyfriend on the cheek in public once and he freaked out and yanked away and was all like THEY'LL LYNCH US IF YOU DO THAT, DRAKE. Bleh. I really don't like it when the setting is out in a public place during sex. 'cause then I get all paranoid that someone is going to interrupt them, and I hate that! (A bit strangely, though, it's not the interruption that I don't like, it's the feeling of embarrassment of being interrupted that I don't like. ( >.> ) Yes, I get embarrassed for fictional characters. wtf.)

Surprisingly enough I'm a bit weary of that myself. Especially in a park, but I guess that's a Japanese thing. <<; Sometimes the mangaka draws other couples in a park at night going at it. Or in a field near during a festival. That sort of thing does happen on occasion, and I generally find it okay so long as it doesn't happen all the time unless it's based on the story. >>;;
I guess, it's more romantic? xD Spontaneous and whatever. "I can't wait anymore," type of thing. Like when couples can't even make it to the bed even when it's 2 feet away.
But there are still a ton of manga with bed scenes. It usually progresses from the uke being shy, then being pushed onto the bed and things heat up etc.
I think I seem to have lost my point. o_o; Or never made it. I guess I'm saying it's pretty normal. xD And only normal so long as no one else is watching. That's where it crosses the line. >>;
