Vyvor lounged comfortably in the throne seat of the palace, her eyes closed and a big smile on her face. Things were going smoothly for her now, and she felt like she had her rightful power in life. A beautifully crafted silver crown rested upon her head, and her gorgeous gown clung to her figure, giving accents to her curves. Her hair, which was long and red now, was curled and hung beautifully on her shoulders.
But the guards that normally stood within the throne room were missing, and in their places were the assassins, all clad in white and in attentive stances throughout the room. The doors were shut for now, but Vyvor knew that eventually someone would enter with the news of her parents and siblings' murders. The thought of the servant's face whenever they found out that she already knew made the new queen of the Overworld smirk with amusement.
However, instead of the doors opening and a servant entering, a worm hole opened in the center of the room and through it strolled Azerol, clad in his own nobility garb of a long lavender velvet coat laced with gold and matching loose pants, which were tucked into knee-high dark boots. He bore a black tri-corner hat with gold trim and a long lavender feather on his head and his black collared shirt bore gold embroidery upon the collar flaps, saying A.D.
He strolled in, knelt at the feet of the new queen, then stood and looked about with a smirk. "Wonderful.....everything is going how it should be," he stated not only to Vyvor, but to his men who stood in salute to him.
"Yes, but the throne is empty beside me. It should have someone to occupy it, no?" Vyvor replied wantingly, as if begging Azerol to stay with her. "You have already marked me, why not take me? Do I mean nothing to you now that you have your little boy to molest?" She moved her red locks off one shoulder to remind him of what had happened long ago, and to prove her point.
"You have no right to speak of him like that!" Azerol stated defensively, his eyes sharpening and becoming a golden color. "He is young, but he is not stupid. He knows what he is getting himself into, and is fully accepting his role."
"So you have marked him as well."
"He wanted it."
"And you didn't?"
Azerol paused, his head turning towards Eliyan, who stood across the room at the door. He could see the angel's eyes shining from where he was, but he could not tell if he was crying already or not. "I did," he replied weakly, feeling a part of himself die inside to admit it in front of the other angel.
"Then you have no one to blame but yourself for your actions, Azerol. You know you cannot marry him without your title, so why did you even bother to put him through that?" Vyvor asked sharply, knowing that she had the dragon at her mercy now. She was now, finally, more powerful than he was in the world of monarchy.
The dragon stood silently, his head bowed in a shame-like manor.
"Let him be, you b***h," growled the angel assassin, now standing at Azerol's side. He wrapped his arms around the dragon and held him tight, nuzzling him softly. "You should be ashamed for this, Azerol has done no wrong. You are just jealous that he has something with us that he doesn't have with you: a future. All you would do is bend and break his spirit, leaving him to waste away while you rule with blood-thirsty power!"
"Silence! I will not have any of that in my kingdom!" she growled, now standing up to confront the two. "How dare you speak to me like this. Begone with you, heathen!"
"No, I do not have to leave here. My Lord has not commanded me to leave, and he will always have more power over us than you ever will, even if we are in your halls," Eli stated strongly, letting his fighting spirit show through his angelic looks.
"And if you try to pull anything do not think I will call them off," Azerol growled in return, his eyes resting upon Eli, who was looking back at him. The angel's words had repaired his broken spirit, giving him new wings. "I may be their Lord, but they are my children, my friends, my lovers. And they carve their own paths however they choose to, and I do not control them like you try to."
Vyvor looked at the rest of the assassins, who nodded in agreement and one-by-one walked over to join the two assassins near the throne. She growled and sat down abruptly in her chair, sulking quietly to herself now.
Azerol smiled and stated, "that's what I thought. Now be a good girl and we shall see about filling that throne, assuming we all live through this." His eyes returned to his assassins and he addressed them as a group. "Now, we have a rebellion to stage, correct? I believe it is almost time to start the ball rolling. I must go check back into the underworld to make sure efforts there are going well, and you all know where you need to go. Good luck, men. May we meet again after all this is said and done." With that he opened a worm hole and stepped through, heading back to the underworld. Each of the assassins made their way out of the throne room, leaving Vyvor and one assassin behind.
"Great! I get stuck with you?" the new queen hissed angrily as the white figure turned to face her.
Eliyan smirked and replied, "Of course. We both have a light exterior and history, but dark passions. No better pair to work together than us." With that he took back up his place at the throne room doors, standing guard with a smirk on under his mask, acting as if nothing had ever happened.

A worm hole opened and through it stepped Azerol, who was in between a dragon and humanoid form. He finished his transformation before beginning to remove the glass armor from his body.
"So, did it serve you well?" Vyvor asked with a smile, happy that the dragon prince had returned triumphant from the battles. He had entered so quickly and requested his normal armor that the queen was forced to give him an early present. It was supposed to be a surprise for his commitment to the kingdom, but it was important, so it was gifted early.
Azerol looked up at the queen and smiled a small smile, "it did. I love the combination of flexibility and durability with the magic to shift from dragon armor to human armor."
The queen nodded and leaned back in her throne to watch the dragon struggle with getting the armor off now.
Seeing that the dragon needed help, Eliyan moved forward to assist his prince with the clasps and loops. "You aren't hurt are you? Your face has pain written all over it," the angel whispered softly as he unlatched the chest plate and helped lift it over Azerol's head.
The dragon remained quiet for a moment, then whispered in return, "just a little bit of pain. My stomach still hurts on the inside from that cursed stone that was put inside of Cozen."
Eliyan nodded and moved around to the front side to do a closer examination. From the outside it looked fine, but when he put his hand upon the dragon's stomach he could feel movement from inside that wasn't good. Using his powers he soothed the wound from the outside, using his magic to reverse the damage that had been done on the inside. "There, is that better Azerol?"
The dragon sighed, feeling the pain disappear as the angel did his work. "Much, thank you dear," he replied softly, giving Eliyan a kiss before returning to removing the armor.
"I assume you will want somewhere to stay now that your little adventure is over, hmm?" Vyvor called from her throne as she watched the two men work at getting the armor off. She stood up and strolled towards them, hoping that he would oblige her with his presence for a few nights.
"No," Azerol replied, his eyes turning to Vyvor now, "I need to be elsewhere for a little while. I will return here when I am ready to. I was just dropping by to return the armor to a safe place before I go on my way. Thank you for letting me use it; it was very helpful in battle."
She nodded, understanding what he was saying now. He was always busy doing something, whether it be in the lower dimensions or the higher ones. "Do be careful," she whispered, giving him a small kiss before stepping back to survey him over.
Eliyan did the same after all the armor was off of Azerol. By the look on Azerol's face he could tell that this was one of those special trips he took every now and then, where he wouldn't tell anybody where he was going or when he would return. Do let me know if you need anything please. I miss seeing you whenever you go away, and any excuse to leave here would be a good one, he thought in his mind, his eyes making contact with the dragon to make sure he got the message.
Azerol nodded to the two of them and stepped out of the now empty shell of armor before spreading his black wings and lifting himself into the air. He opened up another worm hole and disappeared through, heading to some disclosed location for the time being.
