This is no joke. The cashiers are pissed since the renovations started and we're not done yet. The first half of the meeting was from 9-10 and consisted of details and factoids that no one's brought to our attention to the point that our 5-year people didn't even know.
The second half was Q&A session. . . it escalated to yelling at least twice, both times it took twelve and a half minutes approximately to shut everyone the hell up. I went to the meeting that my trainer, her man, another loudmouth, and a few other friends were attending. My appearance was accidental, and I really thought I should've had popcorn when everyone was trying to talk at the same time to the Front End Manager. It was so. . . wow.
I dismissed myself at 11:10p.m. last night. What a drag.
Discuss: Walmart policy, Walmart in general, policies in general, crappy stores, long meetings, shouting matches, chicken fajitas, and peanut butter ice cream sandwiches.

There were three of us in the back that were just staring politely ahead and listening, and every so often we'd look at each other and grimace. Even the presenter would look straight ahead when the shouting started and just zone out until she could think of a response to, "Well, so-and-so didn't work for me, how does that help me?" The lady was offering viable solutions, ones that would work very well, and they just kept on hammering. How terrible.
They have ice cream sandwiches that are sooooo awesome now! Peanut Butter, Neapolitan, Mississippi Mud, Birthday Party Cake, strawberry swirl, caramel, and in a lot of places now you can make an ice cream sandwich with ANY flavor in the store! ;_; so. . . happy.

Did you get paid to attend? If you did, getting paid for sitting around listening to people yell at each other while you laugh at them in your mind sounds better than working.
We don't seem to have fancy ice cream places with choose your own flavor sandwiches. I guess maybe Ice cream sandwiches aren't that popular here? But there are these awesome cookies, I don't know what they're called, but sometimes my boyfriend and I buy them and use them to make ice cream sandwiches. So good.

Yeah, I did get paid, and nobody seemed to tell the head boss when I clocked out or why, so I had to explain that as well. o.O;;; You'd think if I'd clocked out around the time the mandatory meeting got out that it'd be obvious, but noooo.
I'd have been happier if the yelling wasn't done by the person who'd trained me. Loyalties. . . oye.
Well, I've not seen one of these spectacular places, but I stumbled upon a website.
