So I've been playing alot of fighting games recently, namely Blaz Blue and King Of Fighters.
And I thought about my own fighting character that I never got to RP before.
Thus began my idea for a fighting RP! But not just a full out, "WE GOTTA
SAVE THE UNIVERSE FROM ALIEN MONKEYS!" or "THERE'S A TOUGH DEMON
WHO'S GONNA LEVEL THE EARTH UNLESS WE FIGHT IT! (15pts to those of
you who get the references ^_~) NO! My RP will play out much like a game!
One day an invite goes out to many fighters and gathers then in one place
where they'll duke it out for a large prize! Whether it's money, fame, or a
life time supply of cheery lip gloss! The person in charge can cover it all!
He's got so much dough he could actually make cookies with it!
But before I start this RP and before I call out for people to join, I want
to give you all a sneak peak at the characters that will be needed.
That's all! Nothing about the rules, places of fighting, possible plots or
what time they start! So just take a look, think of some characters,
and enjoy a good laugh! (plus I haven't thought of the other stuff yet. Open for ideas!)

CHARACTER LIST LIKE WOOOOAAAAHHH!!
The Karate Guy - They wear karate gis, and wander around
barefoot, wash under waterfalls, and eat at road side stands. Wow,
sounds like a real bum! But have no fear! You’re best friend/rival with his
large fortune will always let you lounge at his place, if you can fight each
other from dusk til dawn! You can master your skills together!… Is that
what they call it these days?
The Other Marital Artist - This guy usually tends to be a rival/foil to
the Karate Guy. They also have a tendency to name quite a bit of their
attacks after predatory animals (such as a tiger, snake or jaguar). And
their clothes?! Ye gods! Don’t get me started on the bad fashion
statements they like to stamp into ever corner of your mind! Who needs
18 inch gravity defying hair and leopard boots?!
The Ninja - There is a ninja in every fighting tournament. There can
be more than one of them, but they always look alike and do the exact
same type of moves. But there are ways to tell them apart. Be it the color
of clothes they wear, headbands with funny symbols, or the amount of
skin they show. Which makes you wonder how one can be stealthy in
bright colors and big body parts hanging out…
The Big Strong Guy - There is always a big, huge, buff, strong dude
out there (which is almost always a wrestler or a sumo) They could have
many reasons to join. Following a disobedient child, showing pride for
their country, or there’s an all-you-can-eat area nearby. Great place to
spend the prize money! Wait… is that the prize? Whatever. Do what you
want but don’t leave your diapers hanging around and put on some pants…
Magical Girl - She’s cute, talks in a high pitched voice, usually has a
talking animal friend, and changes into her outfit in front of people.
Hmmm… does it make her feel better about herself? Who knows! Either
way, look out! Because she could pull a magic item out of anywhere! How
she does it, you’re also not sure. Maybe it’s the talking animal…
Assassin - Wait you’re not a ninja? Okay then what do you do? Let
me guess! Someone killed your sister and you‘re out to kill them for
revenge! No? Then maybe you’re on a job for someone else. No? Forget
it, no one but you really cares anyway. And just so you know, everyone
can see you in that shadow and “whispering” to yourself about your
target. You’re not very good at this are you…? Ask a ninja for pointers.
Princess Saving Her Kingdom - This ‘bad girl’ will stop at nothing to
restore peace and order to her home! Even if it’s beating the crap out of
someone! And she’s usually in some sort of ‘disguise‘. We see you under
those tacky sunglasses! Still she’s a delicate little flower who wants peace
and harmony. So she’s joined the tournament to find people who will help
her on her quest. Good luck! You’ll need it… KIRA CALLS THIS ONE! razz
The Little Kid - Kids are cute. Until they fight you with knives in
teddy bears, yoyos with saw blades or giant hula hoops of doom! Still they
can’t be as great as the big dogs. Sometimes someone needs to spank
them since their mom is either dead or a b***h and can’t teach them right
from wrong. Could said neglecting parent also be why they dress like their
toys? Someone should call Child Services…
The Old Person - The Elderly should stay in homes where they play
checkers on Sundays, not in a fighting tournament. But don’t tell that to
this old fart! They’ll pull out some crazy old fighting style that they used
to beat up the dinosaurs with! *gasp* Is that why they’re extinct?! No
matter, eventually they may cry for their happy pills, put their teeth in a
glass of water, and fall asleep watching Golden Girls.
The Fanboy/Fangirl - Wondering where your extra set of underwear
disappeared to? No need, they probably got stolen by this person. They
love everything about you! Including that awful smell you make after taco
night. Some people may like a mini version on themselves and some find
it annoying. Either way that’s not gonna stop this person from dressing
almost exactly like you.
The Freak - Are you yellow and shoot fire from your nose? Are you
some scientists failed experiment at playing god? Are you immortal,
sparkle in the sun and melt the heart of a normal useless person? Then
you must be some sort of freak! Ewww! Go back into your cage you
animal… thing! Oh, you wanna be friends? Well… if you win and get plastic
surgery maybe things will change… maybe.
The Boxer - HAHA! You got kicked out of your sport because you bit off a
man’s finger! Seriously, don’t do that here! You’re a** will get shot in 2
seconds flat by highly trained squirrels we imported from overseas! Just
fight a fight and bite something else, like some chicken. Ask the sumo,
he’ll point you in the right direction. Just make sure you’re standing in
front of him or at his side.
The Robot/Cyborg - Why are you here? Did someone create you
too? Are you longing to feel human again? Whatever your reason, please
be careful of the ring and make sure you leave no oil stains behind. There
are real people here who could get hurt by your carelessness! Geez, for
someone with a computer for a brain you sure are dumb. Running on
Windows Vista?
As you can see, this fighting RP will not always be serious business!
I would like their to be a little of everything but mostly action! And action
that doesn't last for 5 pages, thanks. So tell me what you think!

And... I call dibs for D on either a ninja or other martial artist!

Thanks Hisa! I started out using the examples from this site
(which I may link to again come RP time so people
get an idea of how it's sorta gonna play out)
But then I didn't want to copy it all so after a bit I started using my
own brain! w00t! And came up with the others. I had fun making them!
And I'm glad you guys are finding it fun! ^_^ Thanks!
