User ImageBright - yet quickly fading - colors exploded on the horizon, indicating the sun's place of rest. Sweeping out grandly, streaks of paint across the sky, were deep shades of blue, orange, and red, threatening to blend into something darker, deeper. Already the moon hanged in the sky, a pale crescent that danced its way over the sky, waiting for its companions to speckle its path.

He, too, awaited the night.

Although beautiful, Kliment held little interest in the death of the sun. His true domain lay in the moonlight, but even more so, the darkness that accompanied it. To pass the time, the dark Twilif perched himself on top of an old, raised stone, one of many contained within the ancient ruins. He didn't know what the ruins used to be - a city, maybe, judging by the size of it - but he could feel a strange energy emanating from the decorated stones.

The ruins hadn't been what he had come for.

Small hand finding one of the many inner pockets of his vest, Kliment withdrew a long piece of red twine. It pooled in his lap once it was all extracted, but he didn't fuss over straightening it out. Instead, taking one end, he found the other, and tied the two together. From there he could begin his 'art'.

Nimble fingers wound and twisted, poked here and there, creating pictures within the string. A tree, a star, and now something more complex; a bear, then a wolf. His brow was bent in concentration, his tongue poking slightly through his lips. With surprising swiftness he shifted from image to image, seemingly lost in his hobby. It was this that he would gladly allow to occupy his hours, being his secret passion. String - he couldn't get enough of it.

Looking up for a moment, glowing yellow eyes peered up at the sky, trying to discern how much longer he had to wait. The sky was already becoming dark, and he could see the beginnings of stars. It wouldn't be long now. Feeling himself to be very much alone, he continued to mess with his string, almost feeling carefree. Almost.

User Image It was nearly dark. Serabii walked alone, a single branch of Sakura in her hand. She was alone, the only thing she'd been since she'd fallen to the planet. She was also singing a pretty tune, one that she remembered the stars calling as she flew by. It was peaceful, until a glow caught her eye. It was yellow and unusual. She froze, her petals glowing a bit brighter. "S-stay calm..." She murmured to herself.

How curious.

Stopping with his playing, although Kliment would die before he called it that, the twilif didn't miss a beat to look up and in the direction of Serabii. He could hear her moving through the grass, although her glowing markings certainly helped. Sweeping a glance over her, he remained seated, although he swiftly tucked his string away.

"You look surprised," he shrugged a shoulder, crossing one leg over the other and peering at her. "Don't be alarmed. I'm not going to do anything to you."

It wasn't a warning, and certainly not a threat. It was just how it was. He didn't feel any threat from the girl, and aside from that, wasn't the type to go about making threats when he had no idea how powerful or able another twilif was.

Huffing out a light breath, he leaned back on his palms, kicking his leg out lightly.

With a small squeak, the female twilif drew closer. It was obvious that she was a shy one, the way she tried to hide behind her hands and bit er thumb when she finally put them down as far as she dared. She blinked and looked around a bit. "G-gomen..." She whimpered out, hoping that he didn't find her a bother. She wondered if he'd understand if she introduced herself, so she stayed simple. She pointed to herself. "S-Serabii." She said her name.

He didn't understand the first thing she said; all he could do was assume it was another language. He wasn't about to ask her what she meant. She seemed the type to be scared of her own shadow, if given the opportunity. The shy types seemed to gravitate toward him.

Not wanting to startle her further, he only nodded silently as she - he presumed - introduced herself. Bringing a hand toward his own chest, he replied, "Kliment."

Hoisting himself up with his palms, the twilif hopped off the pillar and onto the ground below, straightening to peer at Serabii. "Are you lost?" he asked, brow bent in thought. "Better question. Can you understand me?"

Lost. She wondered if she was lost. Though with a look around it was confirmed. "Where...is this?" She asked, looking over as he asked his second question. "I understand." She added in, a small smile on her face.

"Ah," his features relaxed at once. It was refreshing to know he wouldn't have to be using his hands to talk all night. "Good. This is..."

He gestured around, then shrugged a shoulder. "I don't know. These are ruins of some place long forgotten, I think. I... hang out here sometimes."
