Darcy sat, perched on her rock. "She didn't listen to me." she said, her tone colder than ice and sharper than the jagged cliff face behind her. She toyed with her shoelace, her face a blank mask, not betraying one thread of emotion.
Aaron bit hit lip. "Maybe she did..." he said, hopeful. He didn't like it when Darcy got upset; it made her more....agressive. "Sister, is there anything I can get for you before they arrive?" his question was met with stony silence.

Risa had tried to listen, she really had. She would have come alone if it hadn't been past midnight. She didn't like this time of night, she never had. She wasn't exactly scared of the dark--just of the things lurking within it. So the pregnant fae was clinging to the arm of a certain black haired, pale faced man.
"Think this is the place?" She muttered, looking to the cave. It certainly looked like the place that'd been described to her.

(( gonna type my replies here; too lazy to switch accounts )) Matthias nodded. "I sure hope it is." he said, her tone calm. Honestly, he failed to see why she was so afraid, but he was willing to oblige her request and come along. He patted her hand, trying to comfort her. ------ "I told you to come alone." the child's voice cut through the calm stillness of the night, annoyance lacing each syllable. "I specifically stated to come alone." She sighed, shaking her head and hopping from her perch, not making a sound as she landed, olive toned eyes inspecting the pair.

((*would be doing the same thing*))
Risa looked up at Matth, helplessly. She plucked up the courage to look at the orange haired child, before frowning. "I would have." She muttered, shaking her her. "I would have come alone, if you hadn't asked me to come out so late."
The fae had bravely released her hold on Matthias, before stepping forward. "What does it matter if Matth's here or not?" She asked. "Why am I here?" She glanced around, frowning. She didn't like caves. They had spiders in them.

Darcy sighed. "Does the phrase "secret rendezvous" mean nothing anymore." she muttered, more to herself than to the adults. "We are here to talk about your future children." she said, her tone snappish. "Though, you are already aware of the pregnancy." ---- "Children?" Matthias said, his tone suddenly very flat as he stared down at the orange haired girl through slitted obsidian eyes. "What. Do. You. Mean. Children?"

Risa paused, and blinked at the preteen. "Children?" She echoed Matth easily, though her tone was more of a 'what a pleasant surprise!'. "There's more than one?" Miles hadn't said anything, though.. He must have known. "Twins?" She guessed, frowning slightly as she looked to Matth.
"Both boys?" Maybe that would explain why Miles hadn't said anything. Maybe he hadn't wanted them to know. The pregnant fae took Matth's hand and squeezed it gently.

Darcy clapped her hands slowly and sarcastically. "Bravo, bravo, you hit the nail on the head." she said, smirking. "Seems my little projects are developing just fine." she said, nodding once as she stepped closer, eyes locked on Risa's stomach. "They're developing a bit faster than what is the norm, though. Interesting."
Matthias squeezed Risa's hand a little, stepping infront of her as the child advanced towards them. Something about the little one made the hairs on the back of his neck rise. His lips curled ever so slightly in a silent snarl, warning the child to keep her distance.

Risa frowned slightly, stepping out from behind Matthias. "Projects?" She asked. "They aren't your projects. Matthias and I---" She blushed, and fell silent for a moment. Children shouldn't hear of such things, anyway. "As for their growth, we are fae." She shrugged. "We develop differently than other races. We age slower than elves, but that doesn't mean we---"
"What did you do to my babies?" She demanded, in quite a different tone. Now she wasn't the frightened fae she'd been when she'd first walked into the cave. Now she was.. Well. If a certain elven princess had been there, she would have very wisely advised Darcy and Aaron to run and not look back.

Darcy offered one of her ever so sweet smiled. "I am the one who knit them together in your womb, using you and you rather impolite mate as, well, reference for their appearance." she said, slowly starting to circle the two fae. "It's a wonder what you can do with a little magic and a person's image in your head. As for what you and the dark one did, well, convenient timing."
The little orange haired one chuckled. "You should thank me. You to are getting married now because of your impregnation, correct? You should show gratitude and respect." she said, her tone suddenly sounding all too adult, the childish lilt seeping out of it.

Risa frowned. Far from being grateful, her eyes narrowed at the girl, and she reached for Darcy's sweater. Her fingers closed on it, and the fae dragged her closer. "Explain." She hissed, as only an angry seelie could. Well, in Risa's case, angry was an understatement. This was around the point she normally threw someone into a tree, and didn't go back up to save them. "What have you done to my babies?"
Then she shot a glare at Matthias, as if this was all his fault, before turning her gaze back to the girl. "We would have gotten married without your help." She growled.

Darcy frowned, glaring up at the adult. "I needn't explain myself to the likes of you." she said, face screwing up in content. "Now unhand me this instant, or I will rip apart what I have woven." She was not afraid to uphold this threat; she could always recreate two new children elsewhere. "Oh really? Is that what you think?" she sneered, her frown shifting into a smirk.
A chocolate colored hand came seemingly out of nowhere, clamping itself with an iron grip onto the female's wrist. "Let go of my sister." Aaron said, his tone calm and polite. "I do not wish to harm you. So let go."
Matthias at this point was growling, or rather, clicking, from deep inside his throat, eyes shifting to an all-black color, locked on the twins.

Risa let go of the girl, her mood quickly shifting. The fae sniffled. "I'm sorry.." She muttered, before sniffling again. "Don't hurt my babies." The fae put her hands protectively over her stomach, staring at the two children. Well, at least she wasn't angry.. Now she was just sulky. "Please. They're mine."
She looked at Matth, and shook her head. "Don't hurt them, Matth. They're only children." She took his hand, and leaned into him.

Darcy smiled, giggling in a sickeningly innocent manner. "It's okay, Risa. I understand. You're confused, and pregnancy hormones are sending your emotions on a roller coaster." she said, her voice calm and soothing as she reached up to brush a few strands of hair from the woman's face. "I won't hurt them, as long as you don't hurt or threaten me." she said, offering a bright smile.
Aaron released Risa's wrist, falling into a silent staring contest with Matthias.

Risa offered Darcy a small smile, clearly oblivious to the fact that the girl was only acting. "Since you touched them, what will they be like?" The seelie seemed to be calming down now, her emotions were no longer spinning like a tornado. "They're fae.. so... they'll be different, won't they? They won't be like... normal children."
Unfortunately, Risa caught sight of Matthias and Aaron. "Men." She muttered, shaking her head.

"Yes, they will be a bit different than most children." Darcy said, chuckling. "They'll grow at a faster rate and may have specialized magic abilities. Other than that....well, let me know any other anomalies you encounter, okay?"
