 i wonder who would win shikamaru or neji shikamaru could think of a plan but neji has rotation and gentel fist but neji got shadow possesion but neji got gentel fist hmmmmmmmmmm?

that would be really hard to say who would win. if shikamaru could find the blind spot in the byuakugan than he might win but he would half to take a good beating from neji first.

Shikamaru would win hands down.
1) Neji can't do anything if Shikamaru has him under a shadow possession jutsu.
2) Therefore his gentle fist wouldn't work either.
3) His Byaakugan is useless if he is immobilised.
4) And also Shikamaru can then quickly use Shadow strangle jutsu to finish him off.

....It'd be shikamaru cause shikamaru has a huge shadow web net. he can catch neji easily.

Neji would win because for one he would see Shikamaru's shadow from a mile away with his byakugan and could use his rotation to mess with the ground kinda like how Jirobo did. Also when it come to shippuden Neji because neji could attack from a distance now.
