Place: the lake
Time: day 8, sometime before lunch
characters: Lucifer, Noel, and Laz3r
Tail twitching in the grasp of the little fanboy, Lucifer looked over the water of the lake. Sigh, why had he even come here, he -hated- water, it was the bane of existence. It wasn't as if he should care what anyone else saw or thought.
Hmph, this was stupid. What was he going to do here anyways, feed Noel to the sharks? No, irritating as it was, he actually liked the clueless little minion, at least enough that he didn't want the sharks to eat him. Besides, if the sharks ate him, who would he get to unknowingly do his dirty work? Yep, that was totally the reason.
A glance over his shoulder, Lucifer settled to sit in the grass. What now?
Dun dun--
Oh but they were not alone, there was another watching them.

If only Lucifer had known, well he -should- have known. Seriously, water, sharks, Laz3r, what did he think was going to happen?

Noel had not questioned why they came to the lake. He was unaware that Lucifer secretly hated the water. The mod settled down next to the savior and was careful not to try to put his arm around him again. Instead he kept his hands occupied with a fluffy tail. Oh so soft and so warm. He'd need to buy this tail a top hat some time. How he loved it.
Noel was also unaware another pair of eyes was lurking near by watching the two. Very unaware.
No, he was perfectly happy perched next to Lucifer as the two sat in the grassy outskirts of the lake. Hell, he even had that dim witted attractive smile on his maw. He was happy sitting there with Lucifers tail and of course Lucifer.
"So, what you got planned for today Je-Lucifer?"

Lucifer shrugged, his tail flicking in Noel's grasp, swaying one way then the other. I really wished Noel would stop doing that, when the hell did his tail become a plush toy anyways? And yet, he continued to tolerate it, as if some part of him didn't mind, or even -liked- it. Wtf man, ARRGG!
"I don't--"
Wait, wtf had Noel just said? Did he really almost call him--OOF!
There was no chance to finish the thought as the lurker had pounced and Lucifer suddenly found himself under a very large, and seemingly, playful shark.
"Laz3r! What are you doing?"
Heh, hadn't seen him since the morning before, like hell Laz3r was going to pass up the chance to wrestle his friend. Hah! serves him right for sitting by the lake, duh.

One moment Noel was cuddling his saviors tail and the next moment the warm fuzzy thing was gone. First the mod blinked and then looked up to find a large gray prawn like creature attacking Lucifer. Oh no! This had to be an agent of the demon deer. Some sort of demon prawn sent to destroy the savior and confuse Noel.
Of course Noels first reaction , SCREAM AND FLAIL ARMS AROUND AND RUN IN A CIRCLE.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
Yeah, that went on for a good twenty minutes.

Lucifer's ears were instantly pinned back against his head (Laz3r's would have been as well had he had ears), wtf was that noise?! OW, MAKE IT STOP!
Two pairs of eyes focused on Noel, frozen in their game. God, you'd think he'd never seen a shark before. A groan, and a fair amount of effort, Lucifer managed to pry himself from under the shark, who was now shooting him a rather questioning glance.
Who the ******** is that? Can I eat him?
NO! And I'll kick your a** if you try it!
hmph!
Facepaw.
"Hey, noel, stop that!"
Ow, that noise was really hurting his ears. Okay, enough. With large steps, Lucifer strode toward the little fanboy, a paw reaching out to seize him by the collar, the other paw covering his mouth as he pulled him into what could have been called a bear hug had it not been meant to restrain him.
"I said stop it! What the hell are you screaming for anyway?"

Noel was shaking so bad when he was grabbed. At first he thought it was the monster of a prawn that had grabbed him but when his mouth was covered by a hand he knew all to well he relaxed. Literally he could have been a rag doll in Lucifers arms.
So warm, So nice. So safe. So not a monster prawns embrace.
"mphhh mprphhhhh mrphh mphrrr.... Mrrh?? MPhhhhh?" He attempted to say he was alright but for some reason the words came out all weird.... wait .. Lucifer had his hand over his mouth. Course he couldn't talk .
Then he caught sight of the mutant demon monster prawn from hell.
"MRRRRRRPHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" He'd have flailed his arms a little but couldn't Lucifer was strong... and warm and safe and so handsome and . . . OH GOD! Was he gay for Lucifer? Why was he just realizing this?
But Noel didn't care.

Whew, that was better. No more screaming in his ears, just a limp little fanboy, heh, he was kind of cute like that, well, a little. Arrg, not again, ears back! Though mercifully, this time the sound was muffled by Lucifer's paw.
Laz3r on the other hand was shooting Noel was glare. Make that noise again, and I -will- eat you! Well no, he wouldn't, he couldn't, but he would do -something-.
Eye's narrowed, Lucifer turned his own gaze in Laz3r's direction, let me handle this! Silly little fanboy, screaming like that when there was no reason.
"Stop. Now, I'm going to put you down, and you're going to be quiet right? Good."
His paws moved, and Noel would have found his feet on the ground, his mouth uncovered.
"This is Laz3r, you'll be seeing him a lot, so I suggest you not scream at him again. He's one of my...soldiers, in the battle against the demon deer."
What the hell? I'm -what-?!
Just play along...

Noel calmed again and just eyed the gray mass in front of him. Upon closer inspection he realized that he was a shark , not a prawn. Darn. Sharks were cool though too?
Taking a calming breath Noel looked at both.
"So you're Lucifers minion?" All that screaming had done a number on his voice. Really, it hurt to talk almost.
But god bless Lucifer. He had a secret weapon. It was a known fact that anti christ deer feared land sharks more then any other thing. Very known. Yeah. Or was that the polar bear??
"He's so cute Lucifer~ " The brit chimed... best he could.

That's better, good boy, see, nothing to scream about. Paw's on Noel's shoulders, leaned down to speak closer to his ear, perhaps a last gesture of reassurance.
"Yeah, he's something like that."
Lucifer smirked at the -very- scandalized glare he got from Laz3r. But all would soon be forgiven as Lucifer's stepped toward the large shark, reaching into his bag for an offering of crunchberries (EVERYONE loves crunchberries man!).
A double take, followed by a snort of laughter. Cute? Oh my god, Laz3r was many things, but cute had never been a word Lucifer would use for him.
"Yeah, I guess he is."
Grin.

Noel smiled as Lucifer put his hands on his shoulder. He was right. The shark seemed like he was a nice enough animal. Yup, cause you know, sharks totally don't eat audio. NOPE NEVER.
Why Lucifer had snort fits of laughter was beyond Noel. He figured he missed an inside joke so, awkwardly, the mod started to laugh along side. He wasn't totally sure what the two were laughing about though.
Wiping a tear away from his eye he asked.
"Was so funny?"The mod's accent licked at his words. He tilted his head gazing up at his savior. For some reason the sun kinda made a halo up over Lucifers head. TOTALLY appropriate. It just made Noels belief in his awesome savior all that more real.

Lucifer shook his head, still smirking as a paw reached out to scritch Laz3r on the nose.
"Nothing."
Nothing at all, nope. Well, except the look he was getting from Laz3r right now, a look that proclaimed he was -not- cute! He was a shark, he was fierce, terrifying, NOT cute.
No, he was definitely cute with that glare, snicker.
I will murder you in your sleep.... -.-
Okay, okay, here, have more crunchberries.
Lucifer settled to sit on the grass again, idly scratching Laz3r's nose (the shark seemed to like that). His tail twitched as he glanced over his shoulder at Noel, an invitation to join him? Heh, Laz3r wasn't the only cute one there.

The answer wasn't satisfying but Noel really didn't care. No, he was fascinated that Lucifer was petting the shark on the nose. The shark seemed harmless enough... not like the sharks in the lake that had chased the campers. Sure . Why not.
Noel reached out, pausing for a moment to take a breath , and then out stretched his hand gently petting the shark. To his surprise the shark wasn't at all like a prawn. No the texture was different and ... softer?
The Brit smiled and looked up at Lucifer giving him the , 'Im doing good?' look a small child may give a parent or older sibling.
"Your secrets safe with me. " He blinked up at Lucifer as he continued to pet the shark. Laz3r seemed like he must have come from some holy source. Of course Noel believed some form of deity bestowed this gentle giant land shark to Lucifer. It made so much sense.
Little did Noel know that the so called bestowing deity was really Chris Mclean. ...

Gentle giant? Hah! That was something Laz3r definitely was -not-. Oh, he was a fierce and devious creature, yes, yes he was, the campers should be TERRIFIED of him! It just happened that he liked Lucifer, and liked having his nose scratched. Heh heh heh, oh the fun he and Lucifer had.
A snort, Laz3r tolerated Noel...for now, though the look he gave Lucifer said it was only for the pyromaniac's sake that he did not chew off the little fanboy's arm. Hmph, fine, he guessed being petted wasn't so bad, was kind of nice actually, BUT THAT DIDN'T MAKE HIM CUTE!
A smirk, Lucifer leaned back, his paws resting behind his head. It was an amusing image, fanboy petting shark, oh he was so going to torment Laz3r over it later.
"Laz3r, have you heard anything on the demon deer?"
Well he had to say -something- right? He had to continue to play the game, no matter how silly it was.
Laz3r shot him a glance, the what? You have -got- to be kidding...
Just play along, keep the oblivious little fanboy happy. He's much more easy to manipulate that way, and he's cute when he's--Cute? Just how many times was he going to think that today?!
So Laz3r played along (though he swore Lucifer owed him for this one, better be a whole ******** BOX of crunchberries for this one), re-enacting what could have only been a harrowing tale of his heroic battle against a particularly ferocious demon dear. Or something like that...

Noel stood back and watched the re-enacting take place. Yup, that was how a demonic battle with the deer would have gone. Totally. Noel was now one hundred percent convinced that this camp was indeed infested. They would need to take more drastic measures and set up more traps. For the sake of the campers souls after all.
"Lucifer, we are gonna need to rig this whole camp up if Laz3r's re-enactment is true. " Which it totally was right? Yeah. It totally was. There were only three of them and so many demon deer. Oh god.. Bambi must be behind this. Dear lord. Probably some underground drug deal going on between the demon deer and the pinapple demon of dunnshire. This was serious! Probably why Chris Mclean seemed to always be in a bad mood too.
The pieces all started to fall in to place. Oh god.
"Lucifer, we need to start getting really serious about this, " Noel had a bit of shock in his face, " We need to make sure this camp is totally safe."

All Lucifer could do was to shake his head and laugh quietly to himself and hope that Laz3r took the hint to stop his enactment. Ah well, it wasn't a bad thing, it just made his unwitting little minion all the more willing.

"Of course, and we will. But we must move carefully, or their spies will know what we're up to."
Or you know, they'd be caught and everything would be ruined. And though he would never, EVER admit it, he didn't want to hurt his little fanboy.
"Laz3r, how do you feel about enlisting the squirrels."
Oh, oh, the rabid ones?! Hellz yes! Heh heh, squirrels, easily bribed, easily tossed into opposing team cabins. Lucifer would just have to make sure Noel was not in the cabin they chose to squirrel bomb.
Now to calm down his little friend. Standing, Lucifer placed a paw on Noel's shoulder.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine."
