This is part of a comic I am making, but I don't know hoe I can fit it in right. I was thinking of making it like an old tale that people tell, or maybe someone read it in an old novel/diary. Well anyway, here it is, tell me if it is any good ok? :3

There once was a siren called Ilea, who hated humans and all their doings. One day she was caught singing songs of hatred towards human, and as her punishment, she was tied to a mast of a ship and set to sea. She traveled the seas, tied to the mast, for several years. One day, a brave young adventurer found her and untied her and carried her weak body aboard his ship. The adventurer nursed her back to health and asked her to become part of his crew. As a sign of gratitude, she accepted his offer, and travelled the seas with him for many years, during that span of time, she grew to love him, even though he was a human. But one day, a lighting bolt stroke down upon the shipped, and it began to sink. The young adventurer was knocked unconscious and began to sink with the ship. Seeing her love’s life fading before her eyes, she called upon her race’s God, Poseidon.

“Oh, Great Poseidon, please save this man from the sea.” she begged.

“I will save him, but in return, you must give me your heart. You shall never love again, and if you do, both you and your lover will die. In return, I will save this man from his watery grave. There always has to be a price.” He replied.

Ilea looked down at her love and kissed his lips one last time.

“I agree.”

Poseidon took his pitchfork and dug it deep within Ilea’s chest. Upon releasing it, a black symbol of Neptune inscripted itself on her breast. Then Poseidon stuck his pitchfork in the water and created a whirlpool that lead them to a huge ship where the young man was rescued. Knowing that she could never see him again, she wept one tear into the ocean, and swam away.

In my opinion it sounds great. A nice visual description. Because this is a comic concept (manga possibly?) I can see this going a few different ways. The theme isn't too common in the manga/anime world (you know the linking of Greek Mythology to Japan) so I can see a funny comedy twist made out of it really easily.
