Physical Description: Coming in at 5'7", Katrisyn is not the tallest woman, but she's not the small defenseless girl people look down upon. In general, in fact, she tends to carry herself with an aura that says 'don't talk to me unless it's important.'

Her eyes are a dark brown, but her skin is the more pale white color of her family's genetics. It's obvious she obtained most of her looks from her father as she has fairly blunt, features that stand out. This seems to go moderately well with her runner's body, because in fact, she does run. Every day. If you ever want to catch her, she's generally making loops at dawn.

When it comes to clothing, she's absolutely modest. Most of her skin is concealed except in special occasions where the work requires a different kind of garb.
Personality: Katrisa doesn't flirt, she doesn't toy with people, and she's very down to business. If something needs doing, Katrisa will be more than willing to take control of a situation. She seems to take pride in her ability to help other people.

It might take a bit of confidence to creep your way up to asking her for advice or whatever it happens to be, but once approached, she's been told that people find her to be logically useful if not pleasant company to be around. She doesn't often approach people unless she sees a very valid reason, and she isn't one for small talk. If you want to bring up current standings in the neighborhood, or the truths about individuals, you might get somewhere. However, bring up any 'rumors', especially any that might have started regarding her sexuality, and you're more than likely to get a cold shoulder.
History: Katrisyn knew what she wanted to do in life early. It was obvious in the way she took care of her two younger sister's with as much gumption and responsibility as an older sister should.

Katrisyn has a belief that a person should be well rounded, and so at a young age she began to study Healercraft. At the age of twenty, travelling as a journeywoman had brought her far away from her northern based home to the Holds of Ista Weyr. By twenty-four Turns of age, however, she all but abandoned her craft to start a family with an presumably loving (male) partner.

With a toddler to take care of in her current age, she can't continue the craft even if there's a desire to. Neighbors that know her well (and most of them do), will sometimes come to her for advice, if she doesn't offer it to them because of her nosey 'i can fix it!' tendencies.

Most of her life she deems to have gone the way she wanted it. Her only major disappointment is the failure that she sees in her youngest sister, Uuni. Coming from a well-rounded family, she expected great things of the child when she was young, but as she got older it was clear none of those things were going to happen. It's not a topic that is debated over pleasantly and the common individual would be smart not to bring it up.

What exactly is Terran if I might ask? edit: I have been told that it means "Earth". I can change the name to something more "fantasy" like not a problem, and I'll go ahead and do that after I get everything else cleared up.

And yes, she's from a colder climate and not native to the general area. I'll add that. Her sister, Uuni, is already an approved candidate and boasts the same pale skin if it helps?

She's in the Hold, she's not in the Weyr as well. I am not sure if that was clear.

And, she's an ex-Healer, I guess? She did the Journeywoman thing and then just stopped when it came to family. I have no idea what you'd title that as under craft or rank so I had left it under what her title had been before becoming the "stay at home wife". She's not practicing Healing any longer as a "profession".

I think even with the spelling change it might still be a little too much an 'earth' name, since very few pern names have much resemblance to their original earth counterparts.

If she's going to be an ex-Healer, that should be in her title instead of Journeywoman.
