Terentia awoke and straight away went to the place where she would meet him again, in the mountains a private place. Where no one else would be able to find them. Her old friend...

She came to the meeting place and her black eyes scanned the place looking for a sight that she had not seen in many weeks. She looked at the sky with eyes of wonder would he have grown as much as she had. Would he even recognise her? she wondered her long hair blowing in the wind with her ribbons.

The warm song beat down on the light rocks and the dried grass the clouds in the sky where fluffy and soft. It was a wonderful day just like the ones she enjoyed as a child now after the long winter... he was returning to her.

She heard a noise... was it?

Jeremiel had grown handsomely, though he would never admit it; modesty was one of those traits that he had tried to hold close. With his sisters fully grown and his mother with a new mate, the stallion had found himself had a distance from his family that he hadn't faced before. He wasn't complaining, but there was no doubt that he was just a little disappointed.

He had greater things in mind, though; his days as a knight hadn't been much more than assisting the foals here and there, but things were escalating. There weren't many at his side, but he wasn't complaining. The best of all plans had their own little kinks. And he wasn't too disappointed in the companions that he did have...

Jerem's mind drifted to Terentia and his gentle steps came to a halt. The stallion lifted his light eyes towards the sky in peculiar interest, tilting his head to one side. It had been a while since he had seen his old friend; since foal-hood, in fact. The snow had long melted away, but the feelings of childhood 'love,' well, he wasn't too sure what it all had meant. A light smile crossed his face. Ah, the blissfulness of childhood. If only he knew how deep feelings from then could really go.

Absentmindedly, the stallion continued to make his way in his wanderings, until the brief glimmer of wings and the sparkle of gold caught his eye. His steps once more came to a halt and his wings gave a flutter.

Terentia wondered for a little while longer. Her hooves patting around dry stone after dry stone. This place looked so lifeless when the snow was no longer here. It was sad really all the little animals seemed to have gone and new ones had moved in. She missed the snow hares already as she used to spend many days in the valleys chasing after then in the snow. Every time letting them win and get away before she scared them... however they always seemed to return.

Her attention then went to another as she heard her name being spoken. Her ears flicked a little and as she turned her long hair and the scroll like ribbon that was keeping it neat seemed to spin with her head to view the new being in her presence. It was a aura of familiarity but her eyes did not seem to recognize the figure as soon as she wanted them too. Although within seconds a smile grew on her face as she approached him.

"Jeremiel!" She greeted her trot turning into a small fun as she put her head under his chin snuggling him in a way with a smile on her face. It had been so long since she had seen her old friend.His long silver hair was scattered across her face he had grown tall he was so much bigger than her but as foals they where the same....

"How are you my dear friend." She asked in a soft tone of voice a small blush to match her smile.
