Shadai had barely gotten up from the couch before Cody was at the door, ready to go. Apparently Édes had called not too long ago, asking if the child would be able to come over. All the information had been shouted to her as he hung up and rushed to put his shoes on.
It took very little time to arrive at the spawn's house, and the entire time Cody wriggled with absolute excitement in the backseat. "We're-" Before Shadai could even finish her sentence, Cody had jumped out and was running up to the front door. "-here..." Giggling softly at his enthusiasm, the Egyptian turned off the car and walked over to where the spawn stood, eagerly waiting for Édes to answer the door.
"You're just a ball of energy today, aren't you?" Shadai asked, watching him knock on the door again.
"Am not. Excited t' see Édes again," Cody replied, grinning up at his mother. His wings fluttered a bit, stretching out of habit. Ever since his class with Rachel, he'd been trying to fly more than ever and if he couldn't, his wings constantly shifted around or stretched, aching to be used again.

Eve lead Kyler to the house that Edes' dad told them to go to. She smiled, and held on to his hand, as his tentawings wrapped around her.
Kyler smiled, and giggled. It's been a while since he 'saw' Edes, and he was glad to be with him again. His tentawings, even though they were hugging Eve's waist, they were very excited to go feel Edes' wings again.
They both got to the door as Cody walked up there.
Eve smiled at Cody, "Hello, are you here to see Edes, too?"

Both father and son had been preparing for a play date since they had first woken up, and were now relaxing on the couch until the door bell rang.
Édes ran up to the door, his dad watching, and squeed. "Cody!! Kyler!! Hai hai hai!! Please!! Come in!!"

Cody pretty much froze upon hearing another voice behind him, asking about Édes. Slowly turning around, he looked up at Eve, then over at Kyler, unable to speak or show any emotion. Never before had he felt so much anger towards another person. Even Ary held some of his respect and kindness, since she was just acting in her own... rather rough and unique way.
The hybrid barely noticed the door opening and Édes saying hello. "Yes, we're here to see Édes," Shadai managed to say, answering for her son upon seeing he couldn't, or wasn't willing, to answer. That spelled trouble in more ways than one. Guess she had better stay, in case things got ugly and thus wandered in after gently nudging the still frozen child.
A gentle nudging brought Cody out of his thoughts and to turn to look at the door. Grinning brightly at the toddler, he couldn't help, but take up his offer and wandered in. "Hi Édes, been a while," he commented, glancing over at Kyler to see just how good of a friend Édes thought them to be.
Anything less than "just friends" he could deal with. If the two hugged once, Kyler was going to be the first on his hate list. Wait... was he truly that possessive of a mere toddler he had met up with a few times? Perhaps he was overreacting, since he couldn't really stop his friends from being friends with other people and maybe Kyler wasn't so bad... Maybe...

Kyler smiled as Edes squealed. "Hi, Edes. Nice to see you again!" He giggled, and his tentawings immediately let go of Eve's waist, and pet Edes' wings.
Eve let go of Kyler's hand, and walked back to her car, "I hope to see you in one piece, Kyler, when I get back!"
Kyler turned his head towards Eve's voice, "M'kay, Mom! I will!"

"Hai you too!! I'm so happy to see you both!" Édes let the blind boy's tentawings touch his own wings, letting out a happy purr. After, he hugged Cody tightly, only really coming up to his chest. He then took Kyler's and Cody's hand, leading them to the back yard. "Our back yard is really really big, so we can have lots of fun outside today!" He commented, sending a wide grin to his dad before closing the screen door behind him.
He then let go of Cody, leading Kyler to a swing set and putting him on it, then sitting on the other one, grinning at them both. "What should we do first? I thought.. Well, if playing with one of you is really really really fun, then all of us playing together is going to be super extra really really really fun~"

Cody followed the toddlers outside and into the backyard, watching them carefully. By the way Édes was leading Kyler around, he suspected the child to either have really poor eyesight or be completely blind. He shrugged when he was asked what they should do, not really caring what they did.
"Kyler, can you see at all?" Cody finally asked, leaning against the swing-set, his arms crossed against his chest. After all, there seemed to be only two swings available and both had been taken over by the toddlers already. "As for what we should do, what can we do?" he asked Édes, looking at the other toddler curiously. Tag was rather out of the picture, and hide-n-seek was also a no-go.
So what could they actually do?

Kyler looked towards Cody's voice, "No, I can't see..." He closed his eyes, then opened them again. "Maybe we can play Blind Man's Bluff?" Vinny taught him that game, and was the first person to actually play a game with him. Regarding the blindness.

"Well, even if Kyler is blind, he's still really really cute!" Édes smiled, nuzzling Kyler a bit before standing, stretching his wings. "What Blind Man Bluff? Never heard of that game before.." He thought a moment. "Is it like tag? Or Red light green light?"
He turned to Cody, who didn't seem to be very happy.. His ears drooped a bit, going over to huggle Cody. "Smile, Cody! I know we're still little kids, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun with us!"

Cody merely nodded as Kyler confirmed his guess. He scowled a bit as Édes called him cute, giving the other spawn far more affection than himself. Kyler hadn't done anything himself yet, to irritate or anger him, it was just the fact that he was robbing himself of Édes attention.
Cody laughed as Édes hugged him, unable to help himself. "I know you're both little, and I am having fun," he replied, lying through his teeth to keep his friend happy. He wouldn't be able to stand him being upset, he was far too kind. Édes didn't deserve to have two of his... friends fighting. Or at least one hating the other to the point of leaving. "Yeah, what is Blind Man's Bluff, anyways?"

"Well, as Vinny tells me... It's almost like Hide and Seek! But one person has to be blindfolded, and has to try to catch the other players." He smiled, and 'looked' at the grass in front of him while swinging slowly.

Édes nodded, picking up one of Kyler's tentacles, leading him to the giant oak tree in the middle of his yard. "We can play that~!" He reached into his sleeved and pulled out a ribbon, pulling Cody down a bit, and blindfolding him.
"Cody is it first, since he's the oldest~" He grinned, taking Kyler's hand this time. "Start counting~~" He shouted, leading Kyler behind the garden's fence. "He'll never find us, Kyler!" he whispered, holding the blind boy tightly.

Cody blinked as all light disappeared seemingly, leaving him in a world of darkness and causing the child to stumble slightly. So, this is what it felt like to Kyler, to be cut off from the rest of the world in such a harsh way. Extending his wings a bit to help balance himself once again, the hybrid reached out and touched the tree he had been brought over to.
"Why do I have to start?" he muttered darkly and sighed, slowly counting down. "One... Two... Three..." After what seemed like forever to him, Cody finally got to the desired number. "Ten! Ready or not, here I come!" he called out, then blindly stumbled across the yard, listening intently for any sort of sound that would alert him to the two toddler's hiding places.

Kyler grinned, and whispered very low to Edes, "Don't talk too loud. Us blind people can hear very well... But they can't hear this low..."
