Personality: Angela's a fairly average girl. She prefers quiet activities like reading and playing online, and is not very confident when it comes to sports and more active activities. She has a relatively good, if sometimes odd, sense of humor, and is far more comfortable talking to adults than to children of her own age. It takes her a while to open up and really tell people what scares her in more than a casual, half-joking fashion.

History:
As an infant, Angela was abandoned by her parents. Seiyo discovered her on the steps of a church and took her himself, before the priest could find her there. He brought her to his friend River, and River adopted her outright.

Angela's had as normal a childhood in Gaia as you're likely to find. However, she has recently been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This diagnosis and the subsequent treatment has left her a little more withdrawn, and a little less effusive in her good nature.

A year or so ago, Angela began talking about finding her birth family and meeting them. She's never actually actively tried to search for them, and since her cancer, she's stopped talking about it.

Angela is currently undergoing chemotherapy in Durem for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

Personality: Very protective of his charges (the Brooks), and laid-back, but with a snarky, sarcastic sense of humor. His teasing can be a bit on the sharp side, and while he keeps a level head and has a slow fuse, he can be very dangerous when angered.

Control Blood - While Seiyo cannot purify blood, he can control it the way some control water, concentrating it in areas, or drawing it thin in others, pulling it closer to him, etc. This is one of his strongest abilities, and he can even draw blood through skin and orifices. This last requires a very high degree of concentration and strength, and is not a particularly useful skill in hand-to-hand combat. Seiyo will not, however, ever die of blood loss. Within his own body, his blood is constantly created on a by-need basis, giving him the tools he needs. Seiyo's own blood is also always pure. He will never die of blood-borne disease.
Divination - Using blood drops in water, Seiyo can generally see the immediate (within a week) future with about a 85% accuracy. From there, it falls off by 10% each month, until it drops to a 5% accuracy that stays static. Divination generally requires the blood of the focus (if he wants to read River's future, Seiyo would require River's blood, not his own), and concentration. However, occasionally, his own blood getting wet will cause brief flashes of very accurate precognition for the immediate future.
Protective Shell - Using his own blood, Seiyo can create a powerful sphere around himself and up to three other people. This sphere is an anti-magic sphere, as well as acting as a relatively strong shield against physical weapons and missiles. The introduction of outside blood to the shield will break it.

History:
Not much is known about Seiyo's early years, but a little over a decade ago, he found an infant child on the steps of a church, clearly abandoned there. He took the little girl to his friend River, and River chose to adopt her, naming her Angela.

Years later, when Seiyo began to hear Angela talk of finding her birth family, he began to dig up any information he could find on them. He has never told River or Angela that he did any research into this, and recently, her mentions of finding them have dried up, leaving Seiyo feeling a little relieved.

I joined Gaia as a fun alternative to real life rather than as a way to improve myself. My life outside of Gaia is filled with stress and worry, and I needed a place where I could relax and enjoy the flow.
