When she was sure Kess had taken off, Uuni had taken the time to find Avery again. Luckily for her (strangely), things played out beautifully. Perhaps it was more luck than experience that had aided her; that would explain the success.
So, it was only natural when she finally did see Avery leaving that she was quick to catch up. In fact, perhaps waiting in the girl's path was more of an applicable description.
"Do you always come and go so fast and leave everyone wondering why you didn't stay?" Her voice had a teasing chime to it once again now that Kess had gone.
They had scores to settle, and if it ended up occurring in a dark room, she was not one to complain.

Avery's grin was bright against her tan skin as she found the other brunette in her path, not slowing in her walk, but simply adjusting her stride so they could walk side-by-side. Although she wasn't surprised to see Uuni, she also hadn't been expectant of her company. Avery maintained a suave attitude of preparation no matter what, simply because she was used to letting things come and go as they would.
"Not always." Taking a turn down a darker hall, Avery and Uuni quickly found themselves in what appeared to be a rider supply room. Dark, empty of workers, quiet.
The leggy brunette also wasn't surprised when her mouth and hands found the slightly older girl, her actions heated as opposed to Kess's cool, slow manner.

It wasn't the dark that caused Uuni's eyes to dilate.
She muffled the sound that had rose to her mouth by meeting teeth into the giving muscle of neck and shoulder.
She was just as demanding as she took a few steps back until her back was against the surface of something hard and supporting. And she took Avery with her so that said leggy brunette had her against the wall.
"That's better," she said with a grin and wandering eyes. She could barely see anything at the moment, but why on earth would she need to?

"Isn't it?"
Her teeth sunk into her own full, bottom lip to stifle a sound rising in her throat at Uuni's bite and she took the girl's response as a resounding 'yes'.
If this got much farther, the two girls would probably find themselves pushing and slamming each other around quite a bit, considering their combative natures. Avery, for one, was take charge and borderline aggressive in all aspects of her life, and Uuni didn't have to do much convincing to get pushed up against the wall. The curly-haired brunette's leather-clad leg shifted between the other girl's legs to hold her in place as she let her hands begin their work, one palm sliding up Uuni's bare abdomen.
Avery's usually cool tone was a bit rough, breathy, as she spoke again, her mouth against bared shoulder. "Memory is a strange, fickle thing, no?"

Uuni hadn't really expected this much of a response, but she was hardly complaining about it.
If they got caught, they were absolutely dead, but that just made it so much more exciting. Sinking her nails into the girl's back, she arched her own just a bit to increase the pressure along her stomach.
The already wide grin was broadened when she heard the tone of Avery's voice.
Uuni's own still had a surprising amount of composure and had not quite reached raspy. "Why? Have you forgotten what you've eaten for dinner, already?" Maybe she was enjoying this a little too much.
With Avery's cheek so close to her, Uuni didn't have much choice but to whisper it hotly against the girl's cheek.

"No," the tone of her voice didn't make that word seem proper at all, and Avery's free hand went to work at the side-laces of Uuni's bodice. She, as well, seemed to have no real trouble with maintaining a conversation, though to be honest, it wasn't her prefered activity during sexual interactions.
But this was important, if Uuni was going to spend another second around Kesslan. She had to force herself to stay on topic as, really, the location of this particular tryst excited her as well.
"The mindhealers say that if one loves something enough, they can completely forget it if it ever disappears. It's happened to riders that have lost their dragons, to people that lose their lovers."
A grin as her skilled, strong hands tugged Uuni's clothing. "But you'd never care about something, someone that much, would you, beautiful?"

Oh, honestly, did the skirt mean anything to her? Why was she wasting so much time with a stupid bodice?
And off Avery went. Uuni rolled her eyes inwardly even as she sucked in a gentle, whimper-laced breath. "That's nice and all, but. . ." she began to interject, but she was quieted as the tug on her clothing hit a sensitive spot.
Damn. Her own hands went looking for seams to move under as Avery continued her little speech.
"If you're ******** with me," she with a grin and caught onto Avery's wrists. Reaching one leg around the girl's to catch her ankle she jerked her around to switch their positions. "Please stop. It's a really big turnoff."
She rolled her eyes for real this time. "I wouldn't care for any lover I lose. Not you, not Kess, not half the people I've met this week. Come on; if you're going to try and mess with my head, at least pick a believable topic." She'd found an applicable spot to move her hands and went searching for spots that caused just the right amount of change in Avery's posture.

A sharp intake of breath told Uuni she had found one of those spots and the loud-mouthed girl narrowed her eyes at the other Candidate, allowing her wrists to be pinned. Mouths met in a hard kiss and Avery let out a somewhat harsh laugh, pale eyes alight with something hard to pinpoint.
"That's the problem, Uuni. I'm not ******** with you."
Another gasp. "Yet."
This was turning out to be a lot more fun that she thought it would be.

This was ridiculous. Uuni made Avery pay for it with that kiss, and then the laugh unnerved her. What was even more ridiculous was that she was buying into this crazy wench.
A sound in the hall caused her to clamp her hand over the girl's mouth, but she didn't stop. Instead, she pulled up the girl's garments away from her abdomen and moved down in order to let her lips, teeth, and tongue trail and scrape over the bared skin. The position was awkward so her hand slipped away from the girl's mouth. When that happened, she took further precaution.
Dragging the girl back farther with her into the dark, Uuni uttered a thick, breathy, "Alright; i get it. You can have your mental fun after, but now, just shut up."
For the love of Faranth, she hated it when they talked. And that was the last of it she had patience for as the blackness took away her sense of sight completely and all she had was feeling to guide her.
