Orphen is the greatest sorcerer that the tower has ever seen but he is more interested in chasing the Bloody August, an infamous and very mysterious dragon. Along with his apprentice Majic and their companion Clio he heads off on a quest with the Sword of Baltanders, the only thing that can free the Bloody August or 'Azile' from the spell she is under.

I've only seen the first season of this series and I liked it a lot. I can't wait to see season 2. The video game though sucked really bad but I only played it since it had anime clips in it and a different story.

NinjaDon I've only seen the first season of this series and I liked it a lot. I can't wait to see season 2. The video game though sucked really bad but I only played it since it had anime clips in it and a different story. Yeah tha game wasnt so great xd

I had no clue we had a board for this.
I thought it was too long of a series. I would start to watch it then once it got good, there would be a giant lapse after it where I just lost interest. But the ending was worth it. Now everytime I play a NIS game, I name my witch Azaleih ( how nerdy. I know). Majic got annoying though, but Orphan was twice as annoying as him.

imbar i only saw vol 1 of the anime, then i kinda lost interest sweatdrop Same here. I borrowed the entire box set and after it the first disc, I lost interest and it ended up taking me half a year to finish it.

I borrowed the entire box set and after it the first disc, I lost interest and it ended up taking me half a year to finish it. Your lucky. I can borrow the whole first season whenever I want, but I just don't feel like watching it.

I just like to watch all the animes I can to know the different styles and types there are out there.
This one was painfully boring. VERY VERY VERY BORING. I don't remember any of it except for the main story plots. That and the one thing they always said.
Majic: Orphan we need more food and rest.
Orphan: What was that? AZALEI!!!
*six episodes later*
People in the town: We're all dying save us!
Orphan: AZALEI!! Wait shes not here. Goodbye.
*end of the series*
Azalei: I'm a dude....
Orphan: AZALEI YOUR SO HOT!!!
Though the ending was still good. And that chick was a dude. Damn. Good plot twist mid story.

My favorite part though. *SPOILER* When Azalei and Orphan's teacher at the tower tries to console Azalei and make her become human. He nearly does it and he turns into the Bloody August. While Azalei takes his body. Then at the end of the series, Azalei gets her body back while she is dying but then the teacher saves her life by sacrificing his own life for Azalei to live. Then Azalei, since she was so in love with him, cried. Then Orpahn being the super intelligent person he is makes Azalei pregnant with the teacher's soul. Totally nasty but probably one of the best scenes I have seen in an anime. *END SPOILER*

Mid-Kit: To each thier own. Its a good series but just didnt' strike a chord with me. But thats nice. At least somebody liked it a lot.
