It was a hot day and Turag was glad he was protected from sun by deep forest shadows. Slowly walking with his wings slightly open to let cool breeze reach every part of his body he wished he could find some water. To his surprise he managed to stumble upon a small pond. Well this wasn't exactly what he wished for cos here he couldn't wet his whole body but at least he could quince his thirst. Lovering his head he enjoyed in cool and sweet water letting his thoughts wonder away.

Underneath a near by tree, Erendira lay silently. She raised her head slowly, the heavy footsteps of a stallion drew closer. Eyes glowing a faint red she watched him approach her small watering pool.
Erendira was known to stay in one spot for as long as the land could sustain her, even wolves and bears were wary of her space.
Calmly she spoke "And who do YOU think you are, interrupting my slumber?" She rose to her hooves and stretched. "Well?" She asked flicking her long mane to the other side of her neck.

Turag realized his mistake of not inspecting this place more carefully when he came when he heard someone speak. He raised his head to see who this stranger was. Bit surprised whit what he saw he still didn't relax his muscles entirely. Although it was mare standing in front of him she still had some strange aurora surrounding her that warned him not to underestimate her.
'' I apologize if I disturbed you. It was never my intention to do something like that. ''
Prepared to fly away if needed he smiled friendly while introducing himself.
'' My name is Turag. May I know with whom do I have pleasure of speaking to. ''

Flicking her tail Erendira approached him slowly. "My name is Erendira." She snorted. "You should be more careful Turag. There are monsters.." She glanced at him, her eyes glowing more violently.
Lowing her head to take a drink her mane fell into the water, she seemed rather uncaring of the stallions presence. Perhaps.. she was fond of him already, or.. more likely she was luring her prey in for the kill.
If the stallion caught on early he'd best run before the mare showed her true colours. Unless he had other plans on his mind.

The mare didn't belong to kalona or skinwalker kind but still she had some rough feel in her speech. She managed to interest him not in the way of why is she the way she is but more in what will happen next way. He kept his eyes pinned on her for she had all his attention now and he had to admit her confidence suited her well.
'' You have lovely name Eréndira. And thank you for the warning. Do you live alone in these woods? ''

"Of course. Nothing around here moves without my noticing." She smirked again, "What brings you here, Turag?" Her tail shimmered, markings appearing and vanishing with every movement. Her emotions had calmed, the earlier bloodlust now weakened, but she felt something else. Something she hadn't felt in so long the emotion was forgotten.

'' Traveling in search of rare beauties of this world. ''
Turag smiled softly while studying Eréndirs's eyes. They're color made them look wild still there was some depth in them. Small sign of intelligence and maybe interesting life story.
'' I can see why you chose this place as you're home. ''

She looked around the forest. "It's quiet, secluded. I'm rarely bothered here." She walked back towards the thin stream, her lips touching the cool water as she drank.
A short breeze wafted scents of the wild flowers through the pair, before continuing on its merry way throughout the glade.
"I suppose, It's calming here.. it controls me at times.." She sighed, somehow her personality had changed, she no longer felt the need to devour him. She wanted to be closer to him. She couldn't understand what this meant.

He noticed smell of the wild flowers carried by the breeze but there was also something else. Something he noticed just now. There was a second sweet smell and it belonged to his lovely collocutor. Turag smiled as he came to interesting realization for the partial reason why he came here. Suddenly remembering this is not the first time he encounters it but he actually followed it while passing through the forest.
'' This place should be flattered because you decided to live here. ''
Seeing the mare became softer Turag relaxed his body and muscles.
'' Yes this place does have relaxing effect. But don't you ever get lonely all by you're self? ''

She looked back towards him. "Turag, I do not understand why I am like this.. I keep changing, from a blood thirsty demon to the innocent maiden I once was.." She looked back into the water, her reflection scattered and torn. "I don't understand."
She dropped her head lower and her soft mane trickled like water down her neck to the stream below, merging itself within the small cascades.

She looked like troubled lost soul still it made her look beautiful. Yes life writes strange stories and Turag hoped he would never find out how does it feel to be torn between two sides of self.
'' I can not answer you that. But what I do know is that ways of life aren't always understandable. We can only try to make best of what we get. ''
Turag doubted he could help her but at least he will try to comfort her.
