Since there's not much activity afoot right now, I figured I'd start a thread.
Lets discuss our opinions on Obama's presidency thus far. Good, Bad, Ugly? What are your thoughts on what he has done, and what he hasn't?

Can't really say tbh, haven't been following American politics too closely since the election. Maybe someone could enlighten me to any significant things he's done? I can say I'm happy with how he's dealt with international crises however.
I can also say I'm generally not happy with what our new government here has been doing, but that's no surprise.

Part of the problem isn't what he HAS done but what he hasn't. About half of what he's promised to bring to the country has been faulty, pushed aside, or declined. Personally I don't think the government should OWN a vehicle making company, that's a big step towards a socialist country.. too much control going on against the citizens! Has anybody paid attention to the Tea Party Movement going on?

Oh right. I do agree about the vehicle company thing, even though I am a bit of a socialist that's not the kind of business I think the government needs to be in. Now, health care, that's a different matter.
