H E L L O,
is it I C H I G O you're looking for?
Ichigo would love to make friends and have play dates! Left to his own devices, he's most often found lounging about the nearby park with one of his three stuffed companions as he waits for Tsubaki to get off work. Occassionally he can also be spotted making snack/drink runs to the convenience store or grocery store. This is of course if you plan to ambush him in his natural habitat. Ichigo & co. are open to other locations and situations as long as it's PG--Ichigo's still just a kid after all (;

There was a boy,
a very strange E N C H A N T E D boy
Ezaki Ichigo, Tsubaki told him he could decide what the kanji for his name will be after he grows up. He rather likes ใใกใ as is though.
was a stick of mochi flavored pocky but now is a slim boy and therefore boy-sized and boy-weighted.

currently excitable. Because everything is new and so cool and awesome and just like in that movie and--
Children are impressionable, Ichigo possibly moreso. He's like a mirror: if you're nice to him he'll be nice in return, if you're cold towards him he'll find no reason to force his presence upon you--unless you really really really interest him and his excitement overrides his instincts. His mirror-like tendancies extend to behavior as well, allowing him to easily pick up and replicate people's emotions, speech, and body language. Sensitive and empathetic--as long as he remembers not to overwhelm people with his enthusiasm.
Ichigo spent the first few weeks of his life watching tv to entertain himself and pass the time whenever Tsubaki was at work. He watched a lot of tv. To say his current understanding of the world is skewed may be an understatement. After coming home and finding that Ichigo had somehow morphed into Clint Eastwood, James Bond, Monk, or whatever character in a movie/tv series he happened to be watching that day, Tsubaki has since limited his tv watching and made sure he understands the concept of fiction and exaggeration.

Ezaki Tsubakihime, prefers Tsubaki (but wishes her parents had named her Tsubasa or Tsukasa)
currently 22, but still looks like a middle schooler with her baby face
5'0 (5'3 with shoes)
80lbs (not including shoes)
likes pocky, having a steady source of pocky, people who give her pocky, shoujo manga, having perfect nails, cute and/or fuzzy things
dislikes being deprived of pocky, being deprived of shoujo manga, anyone damaging her manga, gamblers
fresh out of college with a major in literature, now employed at a publications firm as an OL (office lackey lady).
lazy. A dreamer that spends most of her time with her head in the clouds, but dependable when she's back down on Earth (giving her pocky helps getting her attention). Loyal, noble, and takes care of her underlings those important to her. Really just wants to live a care-free normal life.
Tsubaki is the daughter of a (failing/failed) yakuza family based in some place not here and is its future 4th generation head.
When Tsubaki was in middle school, Tsubaki's father lost nearly all of their property gambling with other yakuza groups. In an all or nothing last chance, he gambled away his daughter. (Yes that means she technically has a fiance.) In his shame he locked himself in a room with the intent of committing seppuku but was too much of a wimp to go through with it. When Tsubaki's mother found out she immediately took matters in her own hands, convinced the rival group to wait till Tsubaki became 18 before going through with the engagement, and promptly sent Tsubaki off to boarding school overseas in an attempt to buy time to nullify the contract. Tsubaki's mother then kicked her husband back into action and what is left of the group has been trying to rebuild via odd-jobs.
Due to being born in a yakuza family, Tsubaki had always dreamed of living a simple, normal life such as those found in highschool shoujo manga (see: Hyakko, K-ON!, Kare Kano, etc). So many potential friends and boyfriends were frightened off by the family business, it was very discouraging. Being overseas has mostly freed her from the stigma that comes attached to her family name, and she has finally been able to lead a relatively normal life. However, the fact that she is living abroad is a constant reminder of her alleged engagement. Although she has managed to evade the engagement after graduating high school and all through college, she can never be truely free until the debt is repaid or something terrible befalls the rival yakuza group.
Tsubaki has been working hard to save up for her freedom, but seems to have trouble actually keeping money in the bank instead of spending it. Oops. The dreamer in her is still waiting for Prince Charming to come save her from this life.
Trivia
:: Her 3" heels were custom made with weights in them. It helps preventing her from getting blown away in a hurricane (maybe) and adds a certain deadliness to her kicks, should she need to defend herself.
:: Master at Taichi and various wushu; Tsubaki can replicate any physical movement she sees as long as it's physically possible for her to do so.

stuffed-animal backpacks that Tsubaki has graciously decided to share with her young ward. They used to be her only friends and now they're his friends too!
Usa-tan is the jolly one, Tama-chan is the quiet one, and Kuma-P is the smug one. They're equally soft and cuddly when it comes to Tsubaki and Ichigo though (but not Kin).
