when you say Final boss do you mean Yu Yevon or Jecht?
Cause if your talking about Jecht then I will instantly call you a lier and post pictures saying mean stuff about you in seconds

i killed yu yevon and jecht in one try..... but i had all charicter all the way around the ADVANCED shpere grid and had fought with Penance (toughest thing in whole of game extremly hard to unlock you must kill all dark aeons and then go to the airships deck to fight with it)

The toughest boss in the game is actually Nemesis I beleive

no its penance trust me its way harder and it killed me when all my characters were maxed

Yu Yevon was a pretty easy boss to kill, I never went up against a Final Boss that was so easy. Most of the fight I was just plain bored. The only fight that got me was fighting the aeons, mostly because I've grown attached to them...And I didn't want to kill them. crying Why square?! Why?! crying

I beat jecht the final aeon in one turn and I've never heard of those other bosses unless it's a different version of the game cuz the only time I've seen dark aeons was in X-2.
anyway, I had Tidus attack jecht doing over 70000 damage(note that I had him all the way around the sphere grid) This knocked out the first stage where the health is only 60000hp. Next auron had a critical hit and did 99999 then I doublecasted flare with yuna and finished him off in one whole turn. and btw when you fight with yu yevon you are guaranteed to win because auto life is put on all of your characters automatically during that battle. and if a character happens to die they are brought back with auto life still on them. so you can't really call him a boss.

Penance and the Dark Aeons are only in the International version of the game. If you do have that version, you can find their locations here.

That explains a lot. I was wondering about the dark aeons and all that cuz I have never seen them. Why can't they have the same aspects to the game in all of the versions...
