Tashes walked into the shadow clan proudly with her head held high. It wasn't everyday that one got sent to the great Shadow clan. The clan that always kept to themselves, and were standoffish to others. Therefore she was extremely happy to find out that the female clan leader Senka had called for her to find someone. She didn't know who, but boy was she going to find out.
She was somewhat excited, meeting the infamous Senka for the very first time. She didn't know what to do when she saw her, bow maybe? But what if she thinks that's to formal. But, if she didn't bow then what would happen to her. Would she exiled and told never to come back again, or worse, killed? Tashes definitely didn't want that to happen.
Now, a bit anxious, she sees Senka. She trots up to Senka and just to be on the safe side, bows. "I-I'm Tashes. I-I heard you called for me?" Tashes stuttered, wanting to bang her head against the wall for doing so.

Senka lifted an eyebrow as the pale female walked into the Shadowhill territory. Her scouts had informed her as soon as the female had entered the outskirts, and so the leader had been prepared. She had heard that there was a rogue who was particularly good at tracking down other Saigh, and Senka had simply grown tired of trying to find her run away eldest daughter. Though she would have preferred a female of darker pelt color, the rogue at least had a dark underbelly and wore purple jewelry, it could be worse. It was even possible that the female did have Shadowhill clan blood in her, since her eyes did have the customary coloring for the clan. Thinking over it again, Senka realized that it was entirely possible the female had simply gotten the short end of rogue blood mixing and did have regal Shadowhill clan blood running through her. Convincing herself that the female might be trustworthy, the dark female nodded, "Yes, I did.... It's nice to meet you Tashes, I am Senka, leader of the Shadowhill clan...." The elder nodded in greeting, though there was only a faint glimmer of a smile on her stern features.
The female's stern demeanor broke in a sigh, however, when she realized that her request for help would expose the embarrassing lack of control that Senka had over her daughter anyway, so there was no need to put on a show. "I need your assistance finding my daughter.... She has a tendency of running off whenever she can and I have simply grown tired of tracking her down for days." Leveling a gaze at the pale female meant to intimidate, Senka then asked, "Do you think you can handle that?"

Tashes, berated herself for saying her real name and for stuttering. She didn't care for giving out her real name unless she really knew the person and Senka, Senka was a new person. Sure, she heard about her from other Saighs and whatnot but she had never actually met her in person. Meeting a person and hearing about a person were two different things entirely to Tashes.
She also berated herself on the fact that she stuttered, stuttered in front of such an important person as this. Didn't matter if the Saigh in front of her was good or evil, Tashes still had to make a good impression. That was the most important thing when meeting someone so important, the first impression. If she did one false move, then that would be the last for her, or at least, that's what she liked to think.
Tashes got up somewhat stiffly, hearing a very stern tone from Senka. She didn't know if she could take that as a good thing, or a bad thing. Tashes could somewhat read people and how they acted towards her, but this Senka, she was unreadable. Tashes couldn't tell what went behind those eyes, what went behind that slight smile. Were they good, bad? She didn't know. Sure, Senka said that it was nice to meet her, but what if she really didn't mean those words?
Tashes relaxed her body though, seeing that Senka's stern demeanor broke. She could read Senka now, a little bit. It was still somewhat hard to read the elder, though, but then again, she wasn't a clan leader for nothing.
Tashes looked at the female seriously, as she memorized every single word that came out of her mouth. She always did this when given an assignment, but, she usually forgot it after two or three days. She didn't have much of a memory, and therefore often got lost and confused, even though she didn't like to admit it.
Tashes ears naturally went back in inferiority, with that look given. She was somewhat afraid of Senka now, afraid that if she ever did anything to upset the older Saigh, then Tashes would then be put on a stick and roasted. If Senka was an evil doer, then she would definately have to use all of her tools to defeat her, that Tashes knew for a fact.
"Of course I can handle it! They don't call me Super T for a reason!" Tashes exclaimed, hitting her left paw down on the ground. She was confident that she could do anything, anywhere at anytime. She thought of it ludicrous to ask if she could handle it. Didn't Senka know any better. She was the best of the best. At least, that's what she led herself to believe.

Senka had been watching the female in front of her carefully, trying to make a solid opinion of her. She was a strange Saigh really, and was she talking to herself? It was difficult to tell, but the light female certainly did look thoughtful. At least mostly reassured by Tashes' overly confident statement, though a bit confused by her last remark, Senka nodded. "Very good, so.... do you need anything else from me?" She wasn't really sure how these sorts of investigations were handled, and so she felt it best to differ to the self-proclaimed expert on the matter. Though Super T wasn't that reassuring of a title, the female at least seemed to know what she was doing.
Sitting back on her haunches, the elder female waited expectantly, slightly interested in the methodology that this investigator would apply to find her daughter. She wasn't actually that worried, since Shadow was fairly able to take care of herself and generally always came home eventually, but it was usually in a very dirty state and she generally missed meals because of her little exploits. Senka would really prefer not having to bathe her daughter yet again and hunt for her specially, so it would be best if she was retrieved before she could get very far.

Tashes wanted to jump up and down and twirl in a few circles to celebrate the fact that she got the job. She was excited, and also quite overjoyed because of this fact. It was her first big real job, and she had to complete it right to get on the Shadowhill clan's good side. That would create great advertisement for her service and make the evil-doers cower in fear. She was just sure that when she told them that she did a job for the great Shadowhill clan, they wouldn't want to do their evil deeds anymore and just switch to the good side. If not...well, Tashes didn't want to think about that side, not when she would complete this mission successfully.
"Hmmmm.....I don't think so. I usually do these jobs by myself, no help needed." Tashes explained as she thought Senka's offer over. She kind of wanted to use that offer, but what exactly would she need? More importantly, what would that say about her? That she wasn't the best at the job and needed help? That in reality she wasn't as great as she thought she was?
Tashes really had no method. She basically just sniffed around and looked for anything out of the ordinary. She did have a extremely excellent nose though so, there was some sort of method, using her nose more than her eyes. It was just so much easier to keep her head down.

Senka nodded, a bit amused that the female didn't feel the need to know anything about her daughter in order to find her. Who knew, maybe this female was as good as she made herself out to be, but it did seem to Senka that it would at least be helpful for her to know where Shadowfoot had last been seen or something, at least, that was usually where she started when she was trying to find her daughter....
Shrugging to herself, the clan leader said, "Fine with me, I'll be here in case you have any questions about my daughter. Good luck then...."

Tashes smiled, a good feeling surrounding the area around her and Senka. It always felt extremely nice, knowing that her employer liked her. She rarely got a employer that didn't like her, but when she did, it was horrible. The employer would always make these random requests or critique her on her service. Tashes, who didn't like to be critiques stayed away from these types of Saighs, knowing that the employers were a little bit evil themselves.
She especially loved the employers that didn't mind her asking questions. She often did this with a hard-to-find case, even though she didn't want to. She only asked questions when she had absolutely no idea what to do next, and even then she was a bit reluctant.
"Thank you, Senka. I shall find and bring your daughter back home safely in no time, you can count on me!" Tashes declared proudly as she held her head up high and trotted away.
