Two is company three's a crowd Roleplay: OpenName: Heckling Pronounced: heck-ling Nicknames: Heck Gender: Male Age: Adult Species: Arnulf Alignment: Neutral/None Mate: None Offspring: None Interactions: None Personality: Mildly interested, indecisive, a bit of a loner but doesn't mind occasional company so long as it doesn't pull his fur or overstay its welcome. Likes: Little ones (human or kimera), den-like places (cave, building...), quiet, stories (telling or listening) Dislikes: Large groups of people (human or kimera), being in a very open and exposed place, flying/heights, being treated as though he's strange or 'two people' Behavior/Habits: Heck talks to himself a lot, the two heads conversing out loud in the same matter that anyone else would turn an idea over in their mind. When he speaks, each head will say half a sentence, the redish-eyed head usually starting. As far as anyone can tell, they agree with each other and seem to consider themselves a single entity...

'Schlaf, kindlein, schlaf...'
Roleplay: Open!Name: Jäger Pronounced: yag-air Nicknames: Jag, Jaggy Gender: Male Age: Adult Species: Thylashark Alignment: Neutral/None Mate: None Offspring: None Interactions: None StagesBabyLikes: Sleeping, warmth, being held/cuddled Dislikes: Cold hard surfaces, being alone Behavior/Habits: He's a sleepy little thing, though that's probably to be expected at his age. ChildLikes: Humans (his people), being played with, seeing new things Dislikes: Being locked up (put 'away'), being alone, shots Behavior/Habits: He's a little cuddle-fiend, and appears distressed when he's not being given attention. However, too much attention or too many people, frighten him. He's very inquisitive, and appears to be able to open the lock on his holding cage. Luckily, he never seems to go far, so there's probably nothing to worry about... AdolecentLikes: Humans, being played with, seeing new things, baby Kurbis Dislikes: Being locked up (put 'away'), being alone, shots Behavior/Habits: He still adores attention but, contrary to concerns, is not envious of the new little experimental ball of fluff sharing his space. Instead, he give the baby his own happy attention. He still seems to get out a lot though, and while he comes back, clearly he's begun taking his time. Perhaps something ought to be done about this, though he's too intelligent for most locks. AdultLikes: Humans, being played with, seeing new things, baby Kurbis Dislikes: Being locked up (put 'away'), being alone, shots Behavior/Habits: He still adores attention, and absolutely adores Kurbis following him around. Unfortunately, he seems to be teaching the little guy his 'bad habits' of escaping, though at least he doesn't seem to be taking the little Thylashark with him on his escapades. He seems to be getting out more and more and staying out longer. Trying to 'persuade' him otherwise has yielded no positive results, at least he always seems to come back...

'I have seen the future, a black, hopeless cause. I am almost sure, that life is lost, for it is a frozen wasteland, covered with death. '
 Roleplay: Open

Interactions: None
Likes: Dislikes: Behavior/Habits:
The broken stoplight dangled crookedly over the cracked and crumbling street, emitting a soft but incessant buzz as it flickered 'stop' to the empty intersection. It had been a long time since anything paid any heed to the fading red glow. Humans didn't frequent this area any longer, very few things did. The lake, once a beautiful expanse of clear water in times long gone by, was now heavily tainted from radiation. The wooden docks all but rotted away completely, their metal companions rusting and abandoned.
Well, perhaps not completely abandoned. The occasional shadow flitted through the empty darkness of the ruins, a larger creature than the ever-present roaches and toebiters. A slim burnt-orange muzzle rose, the tiny black nose twitching in the cloudy starlight as the creature's tongue flicked out, tasting the air as though it were a snake. And she did not, in fact, look entirely un-serpentine, with the long slender body and sinewy neck. But the pointed face with it's gleaming golden eyes, the black ears that twitched slightly as they sought any tiny sound, the delicate black forepaws, and the soft coating of fur proclaimed the creature to be something other than a slithering reptile. Something that had been slightly more... durable. After all, was that not the purpose of the Kimera? To possess the ability to survive, even in places where other creatures could not?
But they were not like roaches. They were still vulnerable to illness, to poison, to starvation, thirst and... loneliness?
The night was quiet. Empty. Just like her stomach was. The strange slender creature shook slightly, scattering the fine layer of dirt that lingered still on her pelt from the den she'd just slipped from. It was over her own making of course, a long winding tunnel running below the earth where none might stumble over her presence. It was better to be safe than sorry. Just as it was better to be fed than hungry.
An odd flavor made her pause in her quiet prowl of the empty ruins by the shore, her head tipped quizzically as her tongue flicked out again, smelling, tasting... something new. Something she hadn't found before, something that had nearly no scent at all. But it was new, in the rot and decay. It was...
Mushrooms. A rare find by the tainted tainted lake. All other plants in this area appeared to be dead, even the weeds it seemed. And yet from the roots of one of the dead and rotting remains of a proud oak...
The hebisune blinked, her gold eyes fixed curiously on the brightly colored fungus. So pretty, the rich orange a wonderful thing amongst the withered browns and crumbling gray of the world she lived in, and the underside of it was almost... glowing. A lively color amongst so much death and decay. Surely they would taste far better than the insects she'd eaten the night before, with their squirming legs and their rough exoskeletons. She could already feel them, soft and yielding under her teeth with a strange new flavor that didn't wriggle in her throat. She leaned forward, nudging the vibrant cluster with her muzzle as she tried to inhale their nearly not-there smell. Unfortunately, like most of her kind, her sense of smell left much to be desired. She could not guess how they would taste. Different, at least. Different was good.
Her jaws had actually parted to take the first bite when she paused, a sudden thought occurring to her. These mushrooms, with their bright orange caps all clustered together like kits in a den, were new to her. What if there were no more? If she ate them, then the landscape would be nothing but rotting and dead colors again. They looked so good... but, surely, a little bit of cheerful orange amongst the somber colors of the tainted lakeshore was worth eating bugs again? The kimera settled back, her mouth closing with a rueful swipe of her tongue. They were pretty. They were the first pretty she'd seen in a long while. Too pretty, then, to eat...

Dort oben leuchten die sterne, hier unten, da leuchten wir...'
Roleplay: Open!Name: Kürbis Pronounced: koo-bls Nicknames: - Gender: Male Age: Child Species: Thylashark Alignment: Neutral/None Mate: None Offspring: None Interactions: None StagesBabyLikes: Warm. Cuddly. Fluffy. Soft. Dislikes: Cold. Lonely. Hard. Prickly. Behavior/Habits: Lots of sleeping. Cries when left alone for even short periods of time, though this stops almost as soon as someone touches him. Whimpers and whines about shots. Otherwise, he is quite quiet. ChildLikes: Being cuddled, following Jagar everywhereDislikes: Being left behind, meeting lots of new people, shots, being grabbed Behavior/Habits: Insists on sleeping on his old blanket or with Jagar or one of us. Cries insesently whenever Jagar does not take him with him when he 'escapes', and can hardly be consoled. It's somewhat annoying, but at least he's cute. Pretty timid, and very shy though he doesn't mind meeting new people so long as they go slow.
