-Min Ji is the granddaughter of the dancer and actress Gong Ok Jin.
-Some sources state that MinJi was discovered at an audition while other sources say she was personally sought out by YG himself after he noticed videos of her talent on the internet. Since YG Entertainment doesn't hold auditions due to lack of finding someone with talent, the more reasonable way she was discovered is that YG sought her out.
-MinJi was also to debut in Japan along with May Doni but since May Doni left YG Entertainment, plans changed.
-MinJi is exceptionally close to Sandara.
