This place is full of oddballs and emo kids, and the recent hatching has made things so much worse. But that's okay, since it's the reason Roka the mindhealer transferred to Ista for to begin with! Oh, right, and to help with physical trauma victims. Details...
Roka is taking on what basically are therapy sessions. She has made her status and the availability of these sessions well known around the Weyr.
Roka will...
- Listen in silence as they b***h or bwa at her if they want. - Discuss their problems / feelings with them to try and help with a solution if they want. - Be completely unbiased, no matter what someone has done. - Keep everything told to her confidential. Her lips are 100% sealed! - Suggest to those recommended to her who did not willing come to her themselves to have a session. - Occasionally suggest someone she feels needs to speak with someone come to her.
Roka will not... - Magically know when a character who she spends virtually no time with who hides their emotions well needs to speak with her. She can pick up facial expressions and body language other people might not, but knowing anything was actually wrong would take more than a ten second encounter. - Stalk people until they cave and have a session with her, no matter what state they're in. If they refuse the first time, she'll back off.
That being said, to "sign up", just list the name of the character and if they're going to come to her, or if a session would start via some other method.
Current Sessions (listed in IC order) Dolmin Uuni - Complete Kesslan G'ran and B'lin Quinnel
Pending Sessions:
None!

I'd suggest Kess, as anyone that knows her would realize she's definitely a bit off. She wouldn't come in on her own.
Unless you think Razaphon could help her instead? xD

Haha, poor old dude. He'd recommend Roka try and get her to speak with her, since he's of the belief that when it's a serious problem, it's easier to talk about it with people who aren't friends.
I'll put her on ze list.
Anywhere in specific you'd like Roka to find her or did you want to start?

Rotfl, if you think she could take a crack at G'ran/help with his fear of heights somehow... xD
I think he'd be too embarrassed to come to her/refuse to because he's a big man, ohnoez, but his dragon, Ormeteth, would totally haul him in, so there's potential for both situations there, depending on what you'd enjoy the most. xD
Oh, right, and he got the heck mauled out him, but he's a big boy--it built character. >(

@ Indu - Then Razaphon will send her there, if that works? @ Tsu - lol! She should just open up a whole class for big manly man who are afraid of being up high. She's going to harass B'lin about it later, too, as Xanthoth will also be dragging him in. Maybe they could have a session together? BD Roka might be able to get a rider with a dragon old enough they can ride to help.
@ Arrien - Yush! Any age is fine.

I keep thinking Darcir could use some therapy (lulz) but he is refusing to budge. And he wouldn't open up very easy whatsoever so the entire session would probably be him going " . . . . " the entire time.
;3
If you need a rider to help the big men with their fear of heights uh. . . .I could always offer up T'loa and bronze Niyath. He's incredibly easy going and is totally not judgmental. And Niyath is practically a lazy lug. . . Seeing as he's also lived at the Weyr all his life, he's also seen both hold-bred AND weyrfolk alike terrified of heights.
Figure they're going to have to get used to sitting on top of a big dragon much less go anywhere.
(And he majorly needs something to do!)
Otherwise I'll try to find an excuse for Darcir . . . but unsure if that'll be a fruitful experience. :]

Like I said in your plotting Thread, I think Roka/Quinnel would be lulz. Quinnel would be all like," Hm, so you're a mind-healer, yes? Quinnel shall speak to you, yes, in third person!" 8D

Ja, I haven't forgotten Holy. I haven't set up any RPs yet. *super busy with boring RL issues* ;w;
But when I do, I'll have yours set up, too.
On that note, might take a day longer than I'd have hoped, but we'll see. XD
Closing this for now so I don't get super swamped when I get all these RPs posted.
