The town was hot, hotter then the other places. It was formed like a holy cross; but like a holy cross was far from the story. A large fountain sits in the middle; spilling red water into the basin below, like thick, red blood. Shady hellion's wander the busy place, most wearing hoods and capes from the various cults and secret religions that are here. Some sit on steps and watch passerby's idly, and others stand on corners; selling various things: drugs, alchohol, and various other trinkets.
The stores are well stocked and decorated, and the church is at the head of the cross-shaped town. How fitting. Just to the south, the black iron gate leading to the royal grounds are splattered with old and drying blood. Other then the stores, brothels and casinos are here; only two though. A market sits to the west, and just beyond it, the other town. This town might be the main one, but it wasn't quite large. A crow caws over head; this is the Hellion Main Town.
Stores:
Tabacco store- On the East side, just by the fountain. Made of white ash brick, it's one of the more cheerier looking shops in town. All types and flavors of tabacco products are here, all ranging in different prices. Owner: Lilith Sithier
Liquor store- On the East side, just opposite of the Tabacco store. Made of red stone, it's got a bit of graffitti on the side. The bottles inside wink cheerily and it carries most types of alchohol--even some of it's own brand. Owner: Kurio Hunt
Jewelery store- North side. Black shingled, it's fashion isn't the greatest. Neverless, the wide windows show the sparkling gems and jewels that it carries. But, shop lifters beware, the owner isn't nice. He'll put any theif in a coma if they try. Owner: George Cisa
Weapon store- South side of town, just 2 houses down from the gate. A large yard filled with random iron chunks and blocks of steel dominates the area, while a little hut like building is in the far corner. Half blacksmith/half weapon store, this is where all types of weapons can be found. A few stacks of expensive looking woods are by the hut, possibly to make bows and arrows. Owner: Polio Wick
Open Market- It's the largest thing in the whole town on the west side. A sprawling mass of stalls and shelves, it carries everything and everything--at cheap prices. But, not everything is all dandy. Pickpockets and kidnappers roam the place, so one's gaurd had to be up all the time. Even the innocent looking brothers of the church can get nasty if you even look at them the wrong way. But, if you manage to keep your wits about you, the market is appealing to all ages. It's a cooler place then the rest of town, and tons of people flock here. Hey, if your lucky, you might even get to see the minor entertainers that are around. Main owner: Frankie Love
Brothel- on the east side at the end. Also made of black stone, it contains many suspicious looking rooms. If you get kidnapped, this is most likely where you'll end up. It's one floor, almost as big as the market, but not quite. It has 30 rooms, and one big ante-chamber where the owner resides. Women--and men--live in one of the many rooms, awaiting your visit. Church- North of town, largest thing there. Big and spire shaped, it's black with faint splatters of blood from the different rituals and rites. Don't get caught near this place at sun down; it's rumored that hellions that get too close are snatched and used for the sacrificial rituals for random gods--that probably don't even exist, but.... Shadow gasped slightly, ears flattened against his head and tail tucked between his legs. It was warm...too warm. If he wasn't careful, he might fall asleep...which probably wouldn't be a good thing. Hoping that nothing happened while he was exploring with Calis. His red eyes darted about, before settling on the large fountain in the middle. "Ha, it's shaped like a cross! But this place is probably less then holy!" He grinned as he watched the goings on. This was the first time he ever went out of the Royal grounds; but still being in Hell.
To put it shortly: this was awesome!
The kitsune continued to grin, letting his tail come out from between his legs and sway back and forth. Calis wasn't here yet, but he probably would be soon. A monk came up beside him and he jumped, only to have the man put his face in his.
"Hey....your the medic of hell...aren't you?" Shadow nodded suspiciously, wondering what made this man come over and start questioning his status,"Oh, I was thinking you'd be older and a lot less like a girl." The kitsune saw red and kicked the man in the jaw, sending him sprawling.
"I AM NOT A GIRL! NOR AM I YOUNG!" Shadow fumed and crossed his arms, not really caring if he caused a scene. The monk snarled before getting up and leaving. He huffed and waited for Calis to get his a** here so they could do something.

Calis arrived just in time to see the monk sent sprawling across the ground, the Shadow yell something about not being young or a girl. He smiled and crossed the area between them. He sat down next to Shadow. "perhaps I won't need to cut their guts open. Not if you keep that up." He smiled at Shadow. "come on. Wanna go get something to eat first?" he asked the medic.

Shadow looked over and stared at him, silent and seething. "Took you long enough....and why are you sitting? Is that your short joke for the day?" He stared a bit longer before grinning,"Ha ha, just kidding! Your funny! But sure, let's do that. It sounds like a plan. " Nodding his head and still grinning, he waited for Calis to get his a** off the ground and start searching. His tail flicked up and whapped lightly across the others face, bored.

Calis grabbed Shadow's tail again, as he stood up. "stop hitting my face with your tail." he smiled as he said it, to show he wasn't really annoyed. "You don't taste very good." he dropped Shadow's tail, letting it fall away from him. "come, let's see about this food." he looked around, trying to find the source of the food smell.

"Hmph. I'm sure I taste fine." Walking away, he stopped at the middle of the town, watching people walk around. It was an intresting town; with shady people and normal people. Looking left, he saw a dark building that looked a bit scary, and then looking right, he saw an open market--a lot more cheerful then the rest. "Hey Calis, look! A market!" Shadow called over the hubbub of the town. He looked back at the messenger, patting his foot against the ground impatiently.

Calis heard what Shadow had said, but only because of his advanced hearing. As he moved closer to the market, he tried blocking out some of the town. "sure is noisy here..." he to Shadow, when he finally came up next to him. "Alright, let's go in there then... there has to be food of some sort." he smiled as he blocked out a few more voices, but it was still very loud, almost to loud for his liking.

He just grinned before pacing swiftly to the crowd and disappearing seamlessly into the crowd, ducking between two larger ladies examining two different, opposite stands. One of the good things about being short: you could fit easily in tight places. Popping up into the wider walkways, he paddled his feet excitedly--but a little peevishly. One of the bad things about being short: most people were taller then you and you couldn't see squat. He huffed unhappily, looking around. Sure it was a big place, probably an exciting place; if you could see. Faint music was playing in the background; over the sounds of people bartering and laughing.

Calis followed the path that Shadow had taken, soon he was standing next to him again. "alright, food section is..." he stood on his toes slightly, "over there." he pointed in the direction, left of where they had come from. He shook his head slightly when he heard a baby screaming for his mum. "come on, there's not as many people over there,"

His ears twitched and he set off in the direction the other had pointed out,"Mrrffhh...hate being short..." Passing between another two people, his tail was held high, twitching squirrel-like. Coming to stands that were colored pinky, he grinned before his nose was assualted and he called,"Calis! Ha ha! You found it!" Heh heh! This is....awesome! { heart }

Calis smiled. "yes, it would appear I have found it." he looked down at Shadow. "now to figure out what we want." Calis wasn't sure what foods were sold in the market place of the main town. He'd never eaten out before, finding it to noisy for him. But being with someone while there made it all worth while.

"Well, that seems easy. It appears that you just go up to a stall, pick something out, and then pay for it...then you eat it! Well, that's what it looks like." He grinned happily and looking up at the messenger. "Hmmm...the shopkeepers look friendly, but still..."
A young girl carrying a covered tray trots up to them both and smiles sweetly at Calis,"Hallo Mister, you new here? You seem a little indesisive, but maybe I can help you. I've got a wide range of treats under this here cloth, may I intrest you in one or more?" She pats the cloth gently, and a sugary aroma comes from underneath.

Calis rose an eyebrow as he looked at the little girl and the tray she was holding. "and my I ask what it is you have under that there cloth?" he looked at Shadow with a look of amusment. He wasn't sure he wanted something from just any one, but if the quality was good, he might as well have some of what ever was causing the sugary smell.

She lifted the cover off to reveal an assortment of candied flapjacks (Pancakes), liquid sugared covered cinnamon rolls, and pecan tarts. "See? Desserts for any occasion, baked only a few minutes ago!"
"Wow, well, at least you can cook better then I can. Well, if it's okay with you then I'll go with one of...those things." He pointed at the cinomon roll and the girl smiled before handing it over.
"That'll be....2 (whatever currency they have)" She watched interested as Shadow used his dexterous tail to hold his treat and used his hands to pull the exact change out. "And for you?" She grinned brightly as she put the money into a little tin; watching Calis.
Upon finishing his first transaction, the kitsune went about nibbling on his item--after switching it to his hands again--and watching the messenger over it.

Calis pointed at one of the candied pancakes. "I'll have one of those then I guess..." He picked it up and held it in one hand, reaching into his pocket with the other. "How much is it?" he asked, pulling out the same amount that Shadow had payed for his food, though he wasn't sure if it would be that much or more...
