Rockstar jumped over logs and curved around trees. He run up hills and rolled through forests. He trotted in the long grass and galloped in the clearing. All the time singing. Singing a song he heard very recently. Rockstar had the gift of memory. He could remember any and every song he had ever heard throughout the coarse of his life. But this one had no lyrics, so he was making up his own.
He had heard this song being hummed, and to his surprise, this beautiful song was being hummed by the mare of his herd, Selena. And it had shocked him so because he had never heard her sing, or hum in this case. And she did so with a large grin on her face. She always told him off for singing loudly and suddenly, but it was her that was making sound.
Hypocrite.
But it did not matter right now. He would interrogate her later tonight, right now he was on his way to the waterfall!

Khajag made his way down a path, unsure of the destination he was headed towards. He took tentive steps, knowing that should he feel uncomfortable, he could always turn back.
As he continued down his path, he kept well alert, despite his slow pace. His ears perked up, hearing a noise. He paused for a moment. It was a continuous flow of noise. Was someone hurt? He immediately thought. Maybe he was too far off to hear the sound correctly. He nervously swayed, pondering whether to investigate the noise.
It didn't take long for Khajag's conscience get to him, making him track down the noise. He followed it for a bit, to find it leading him to the waterfall. He blinked, when the noise stop. Did it die? The stallion moved towards the clearing of the waterfall, trying to see if anything was out of the ordinary.

Rockstar did not know the lyrics, and though he was good with singing songs he knew, and making up his own. He was, unfortunately, horrible at figuring out lyrics for songs that had none. It was not among his talents. SO, as a result, his new song consisted of a nice enough beat, but most of it was hummed. Its lyrics consisted of of random words that neither rhymed nor sounded appropriated to the song. And if he he had to, he made strange noises that sounded very much like moaning.
But, being him, he didn't care. He just enjoyed his song.
When he finally arrived to the waterfall he stopped. He tried to stop very suddenly, like on a dime, or how ever the two-leggers said it. But he failed. He tripped and slid a foot or two on the wet grass.
He watched the waterfall after he made sure no one had seen his mistake, and thought of how to sing about it. SO he just continued the song, but threw in words like crystal, wet, massive, tall, water, and splashy.
The song continued, until he spotted something. A lady bug. His eyes widened and he quickly counted the spots on its red back. i[]Seven He thought. He had never seen a lady bug with seven spots before. He was impressed. His song stopped and he just stared.

Khajag continued towards the falls, hearing the mixed mash of humming, moaning, words and singing. Was this soquili delirious? Would it be even safe to approach this figure? He cringed.
As soon as the stallion finally got within distance of the waterfall, he caught sight of a stallion falling over onto the wet grass. Now, what was wrong with this stallion? He warily looked at him. Who would fall like that? Was he .. okay? Khajag moved closer, and as he did, he definitely felt the slickness of the grass. Maybe that was attributed to the other stallion falling, but he wasn't sure exactly.
"Ahem..." He cleared his throat a bit, shyly looking at the other stallion. "A-are you okay...?" He said softly, noticing the stallion staring particularly in one place. This didn't feel right at all...

Rock's ears flicked toward the greeny-blue stallion and he jumped up, making the lady bug fly away in fright. He looked the stallion over with his eyes and then smiled happily.
"Hey there! Im fine, thanks, how about yourself?" He said smiling and skipping up to him. Then Rock's eyes were caught by a sight that lay just behind the stallion's head. His eyes widened and he bolted towards it, nearly trampling the Soquili in front of him.
"Apples!!" he yelled in delight, sparkles in his eyes and mouth watering.

Khajag took a good glance over the other stallion's form. He blinked a couple times to realize that he was perfectly fine. After catching the stallion's attention, he blushed a bit. "a-aahh.. I'm fine." He said in a rather fast response. He took two steps back as the other stallion skipped up to him. His eyes widened seeing that the stallion was picking up speed. "What the---" He gasped out, trying to get out of the way.
"A-apples?" He asked, dumbfounded. He turned around to look at the tree, as well as the stallion. "Lovely?" He said, getting a tad confused by the actions of the other stallion. As he observed the black stallion more, he wondered what the things on his face were and why he had something on his back. He looked rather well groomed and handsome. Definitely ha-- The stallion shook his head from preventing further thoughts, awkwardly standing there with a blush on his face.

Rock nearly hit his new found companion, but the sight of apples was just too tempting for control. Once he stood before the grand tree, he could see that its branches were full of apples. Some were not ripe, but the rest were a perfect glistening red! His stomach begged him to take them. He backed up a little, tensed his back legs and then, sprang. He flew in the air, soaring towards the tree. His front legs were curled up under him, and when he was near the firm trunk, they extended. They hit the tree with such force that it shook and the leaves let out a surprised noise. He gracefully landed on the ground once more, but right when his hooves touched, the apples began to fall.
"Aeek!" Rock yelped and jumped out of the way. He watched as they all fell in a storm, it was beautiful. He could help but have a joyful grin plastered across his face. This was better than watching any bug. "Its raining apples!" He cheered successfully.
Once it passed and the rain calmed, he approached, mouth watering, and bit into the largest and closest. He devoured it in under 5 seconds. And picked up another, but this time threw it to his friend. "Have one Greeny." He said with a twinkling smile and a cheery face.

Khajag felt relieved that he was not the target that the stallion was after. He let out a huge sigh of relief, seeing that the stallion was only excited to see the tree. He let a nervous laugh. "You must really like apples." He said softly, slightly hiding behind his bangs. Watching as the other stallion knock the tree to make the apples fall was such a strong sight to see.
The stallion lightly smiled, with a light shake to his head. The antics of the other stallion were -adorable-. It almost wanted him to be quite gleeful over the sight of falling apples, but he kept it in.
He was content just to watch before he saw a shiny red apple tossed over his way. "Greeny?" He asked. "I don't think I'm that green." He said thoughtfully. "And thank you.." He said softly, accepting the apple. He took his time when it came to eating the apple, well, at least three times slower than the other stallion. "Are you going to eat -all- of those apples?" He asked curiously.

Rock crunched his teeth into his fourth apple. He was devouring them in record time. He adored apples, to him they were almost as good as music. Almost. After three seconds, the apple was gone and he was on to his next.
They were delicous in everyway imaginable. The smell, the color, the taste. Rock really oculdn't get enough. A tingle of pleasure ran down his spine and he shivered with a pleasant smile.
"Well then Not-Greeny," He said, smaking his lips after making another apple disapear, "What is your name? Im Rockstar!" He came up to him and gave a wide smile.
He laughed at his new friend's joke, "I would if I could! But all these apples," he giggled, looking back at the mess, "would make me explode!" He let out another laugh, with the occasional snort. And then returned to his feast, eating another half-dozen.
After he had finished dinning on what seemed to be half his wieght ion apples, he joyfully plopped down to the groud with a satisfied sigh. Opening one eye to look at his new compaion.

Khajag just smiled, just finishing his first apple as the other stallion went through four apples with ease. The stallion was amazed by the other stallion's hunger for apples.
The stallion blinked. "oh-- Its nice to meet you, Rockstar." He smiled. "My name is Khajag." He said with a small smile, walking up to another apple. He didn't want these apples to go to waste.
"I'm sure your really healthy. How does that saying go?" He paused and thought outloud. "'An apple day keeps the doctor away'?" He laughed. "I'm sure he doesn't even want to come near you."
"How are you feeling?" He asked, laughing at the stallion.

Rockstar let out a loud hoot of laughter. It was the saying his two-legger always teased him with. he didn't know it was so common!
"Haha! Yup, guess i am pretty healthy, don't get sick very often thats for sure!" He beamed and flashed his white teeth at his new friend. "Its nice to meet you Khajag! Your really funny!" He bummed the other stallion's side playfully, "I like you." He winked.
"So, what are you up to?" He skipped to quickly before giving the stallion a chance to respond to the odd gesture.

Khajag smiled a bit at the laughter. He had a feeling it had to do with his little recollection of a certain two-legger phrase. "That's good to hear." He said with a light smile. "And-- thank you?" He said, not really used to getting complimented on that. His body recoiled a bit from the bump and sidestepped a bit. His brain froze, and could only react in one way. 'W-whaaaa?' He looked so dazed and confused from the outside, but then when he snapped back into reality, a bright blush broke out on his cheeks and heated them up.
"Ah... ah.. okay?" He said quietly, not knowing how to reply to that. Was it even normal to have feelings like this with another stallion?
The stallion tried to recall his path before he had gotten sidetracked. "I was ... wandering." He said a bit softly, still embarrassed by that comment. "Then, I thought I needed to save someone, but.. it turns out the so called 'damsel' had no problems at all."

Rockstar cocked his head. If he were a cat, he would have flicked an ear. And he began to look around for the so called damsel. He had heard the term before. Form a poem. "'Means a royal girl,right...?" he mumbled to himself, no longer really looking but searching his brain for the poem. He had forgotten about it all these years. It was a parade song. As well as a lullaby. Ting! He smiled to himself, then looked at his new green friend. "Found it." He said with a wink. Knowing the other stallion would not understand.
"Night ~ ing gale Night ~ ing gale... why fled thee from thy cage I has adorned it with gold and trinkets for thine. Fell you not the love that i do? My damsel my damsel
I see you from the window I whistle you a song Though you ignore it My ice queen. I play you my lyre but you leave the commons I pick you a rose you wilt it with your eyes
My damsel my damsel Feel you not my pain? my sorrow? Oh Nighting gale return to thy cage for you alone will love this beating heart."

Khajag blinked. He had to think about the meaning of damsel before responding. "I think its more like a young girl." He said, trying to confirm the definition for Rockstar. He then looked to the stallion, obviously confused when he said he "Found it," and blushed after the stallion winked at him. He listened carefully as the stallion sung a melodic tune. His eyes widened. "Wow! You're really good!" He said with a smile.

"Why thank you kind sir!" He said pleasantly and bowed his head formally. "I know many other songs, melodies and poems if you want me to sing again!" He suggested with a childish grin. "I love to sing! My dad was a parade horse and taught me how to sing and preform. I know tons of songs for any occasion!" He told Khajag with a bit of a brag in his tone. "They, my parents, named me Rockstar because that was the title of the first song I ever sang." She smiled and chuckled at the fond memory. "Khaj, you have a very interesting name, is there a story behind it?"
