I was wondering where do you start from? Normally I start with the eyes and go around there. However lately I found if I go by the neck down it becomes easier for me.

I start skeletal. O.o Do a basic skeletal outline, then the outline, then I work my way to the center from the outside.

I sketch out what I'm going to do first .. measure the arms and legs to make sure they're going to be the right size XD but the very first thing I do is draw a big circle for the head

umm, I would say, if I were starting with the head, I start drawing out the jaw line that would then lead to the neck, like one line(cartoony if you will), not like I can really draw someone, but I always feel so much better with a simple head to add to.

well, what the proffesionals usually do is they start out with a circle for the head. so i guess you could say the head lol. i start out with the head and then do the face. sometimes i do the hair after that or sometimes i do the body then the clothes and i save the hair for last. (btw, i drew my signature mrgreen ) if u need anymore tips feel free to PM me

Head? Lol. Like a circle then a bunch of other shapes for the rest of the body. I've seen somebody drawing from the feet up once. Dx
If I'm just doodling then I start with the eyes.

I start with the head. Specifically, the jaw line or cheek bone. Then I add in the face and hair, and eventually go to neck, and the torso. Personally, I feel that if you get the head all measured out correctly, it helps with the proportioning on the rest of the body. That's why I actually finish it before moving on to the body. Makes sure that it looks okay ^^

Lets see... I start with designing the outfit then I go to another page and design the hair and facial expressions and then on another page a design the background and then on a forth page I throw it all together xd

Start with a few guides for the head, then draw the body, finish with details of face and hair
