Skin color: Average, though some would say it has a slightly golden hue to it.
Body build: Gryff is broad shouldered and keeps his body in good shape by exercising often. He stands around 6'4 and weighs in around 225lbs
Hair color/length/style: Gryff has short to mid-length goldenrod colored hair that is spiked around his face and in combination with his beard gives the impression of a lion's mane.
Facial Hair: Gryff has a mane-like beard from sideburn to sideburn that matches his hair color
Scars: Gryff has a few old war wounds on his body, the most often visable being two scars on his face he recieved in a saber fight, one down across his right eye, the other short crossing the first along his jawbone. There is another scar on his side from a bullet wound that was never properly tended to and scarred over with part of the bullet still inside.
Clothing: Gryff wears a simple leather jerkin and swordsman's shirt when not wearing his chestplate along with a pair of reddish-brown slacks tucked into his boots or (if wearing them) shin guards. Unless he's really gearing up for a fight, his arms are often bare save for the metal, clockwork bracers and gloves covering his hands and forearms. Gryff generally wears a crimson scarf around his neck for personal reasons.
Armor: Gryff wears a brass-colored metal alloy chestplate, forearm bracers, and shin guards most of the time.
Weapons: Gryff weilds many different weapons, but his favorite seem to be two-handed weapons or just his hands and feet.
Jewelry: Gryff wears a locket around his neck with a gold heart that generally stays tucked into his shirt, and a similar necklace bearing a roaring lion below an eagle with wings outstretched.
Character Personality: Gryff is a gentlemen, polite and respectful though easygoing and not uptight. He's somewhat chilvalric and old fashioned much preferring that women don't neccessarily traipse around him half clothed (he will try to cover them or politely look away) and feeling like it's his duty to be a protector for anyone in need no matter age, race, station, or gender. Gryff has some militaristic habits left over from his days as a soldier, and no amount of time can change the fact that he is a warrior, but while Gryff will not shy away from a battle fighting for him is a last resort.
