Aryaisha had been traveling for a while now searching for the goddess of crafting, he had heard stories about how she might make a item for lions who do her favors and ever since Ary created that story with the goddess of imagination's help, Buni, he has wanted to created the dragon in his story into a decoration.

He had finally found the volcanic home of the goddess but was a bit hesitant to leave the lush landscape surrounding the enormous mountain. For the second night in a row Ary slept in a tree, watching the orange glow of the volcano light up the mountain peak. It was also at night that Ary could see clearly the cave entrance that the stories talk about, the den of the goddess Sanaa.

The brown lion contemplated what to do in the coming day, he had finally gotten up the courage to approach her on her home turf but he did not know what to offer her. He had nothing to offer her and even if she could not make what he was thinking, Ary still wanted to have something appropriate to gift her with.

Padding from the mouth of her cave, the goddess herself appeared at the lip of the ledge before it. Unconsciously displaying herself, she stretched luxuriously and spread her three sets of wings to their limits, their light fanning setting up a whirlwind around her golden body.

A long night well spent, she thought to herself. She'd made good progress on another golem, like the one she'd finished before emerging from her mountain after a century. This one was coming along much more rapidly, since she already knew how to the make it. From here on, it would be tweaking it, changing things, improving things... she was hopeful that it would prove better than the old one, maybe even finally take on a life of its own as she intended. Sure, Limbuko had promised to turn her body into the vehicle to create life, but she didn't trust this strange concept of bodily chemistry. Bodies made mistakes. Only pure, flawless machinery never did. It only made sense, then, that life could be made from the perfection of mechanics.

Turning her head, she cast her bottle green eyes over the landscape, her ears swiveling to catch the sounds below the rumble of her mountain.

When Sanna left her cave Aryaisha was in awe. Unlike when he met Buni, the goddess of imagination, there was no way of mistaking this goddess as ordinary. While yes Buni had wings and prism colored eyes, her fur color and pattern, while odd, was possible as a normal lion but there was no way Sanna could ever be considered normal. Not only was it her three wings or even her metal arm, it was everything. Her wings, her arm, and all the little trinkets that adorned her body.

Against Ary's original plan he left his sleeping place and started up the trail. He watched as the goddess' flickered in the light of the volcano, casting her in a even more mysterious view. It was not long before he was fairly close, well withing talking distance but at a safe distance. He coughed, trying to get her attention politely, "Lady." He said softly as a greeting.

Well used to the comings and goings of mortal about her home, Sanaa didn't at first take notice of the male that made his way up the path to the entrance of her den. She often had laborers come in with loads of wood and other material, so her first glance at him had been to see which of it he had brought her. Sure, she might be nearly as greedy as Ubuge when it came to stuff, but greed was all focused on what she could make out of that stuff, rather than on keeping it herself.

The goddess blinked when the mortal turned out to be one she didn't know, someone knew to the mountain and bearing nothing more than his own fur. She frowned, but smoothed it away in an instant. She was getting too used to others bringing her things, if she got irritated when someone didn't. She'd have to go out gathering on her own to correct that behavior. One never knew when one's followers would disappear again, leaving only herself to gather material.

"Welcome, Mortal." Sanaa called in her copper voice, a slight metalic ring in the sound, despite her organic nature. Domain influencing the body, it seemed. She straightened herself up, business-like, and settled her wings along her back and out of the way. "What brings you to my den?"

To say that Aryaisha was not in awe of the goddess would be to lie and even after meeting another goddess, he still wasn't use to it. When Sanna turned to him and greeted him, Ary took a few steps closer and answered her question. "Lady, I came asking a boon." He made a face and added, "Well not a boon per say since it is not a favor more like I wish to make trade in skills."

For one of the few times in his life Ary was at a loss of words, he didn't know how to ask if she would make something for him. He didn't want to be impolite and just spit it out, nor did he want to waste her time since she seemed to be busy when he came to her. Oh bugger, he thought, I should have waited till the morning and brought a gift with me. as he shifted nervously, waiting to see how this goddess would react.

Sanaa got a few moments to get a good look at this stranger, her eyes impartial to mortal form. After all... she was not mortal, per say, and truly, she didn't much care for... organic things. Machinery, ropes, metals, glass and jewels... those were the things she had an eye for.

His words though... his words brought out the craft her in her and her green eyes took on a new, far more interested look as she straightened up, a smile coming to her face.

"Well! Trades I can surely do. Why don't you come inside and tell me about it, hmm?" Flipping a wing to smooth the feathers, she turned and gestured at the den with her metal paw before leading the way in, a soft metal thunk each time she stepped with that particular appendage.

Once eyes adjusted to dimmer interior, they could see the heaps of items stacked along the walls, mostly according to group, with walkways between them and down the center. At the very back of the cavernous cave, a low stone 'wall' jutted out from the cave wall, just tall enough to come up to Sanaa's chest, and as deep back as she could reach with a paw. Her workbench, as it were, and it was just as cluttered as her den, though with things half-finished.

She waved him to a clear place where some dried grass had been tossed, obvious enough as a place for someone to lay or sit comfortably.

Aryaisha followed the goddess at a respectful distance. Once his eyes adjusted to the darker interior of her den, Ary looked around him in wonder. There were so many things in here he felt he could spend years here and still not see everything individually.

When Sanna waved him to a spot with dried grass tossed on the floor he went and sat down at the offered spot. Siting with his back straight and in a respectful manner Ary said, "Lady, I am called Aryaisha and I came to you because I wish to create a necklace based on a creature that was created by Bunika'Mwenzi while I was telling her a story." He shifted a bit not knowing what else he should add, "Um, as I said earlier I am willing to treat this as a trade but since I do not know how difficult it will to make the pendent I don't really know what to offer." He finished lamely.

The goddess hmmed in thought as he spoke, ideas already churning in her head about how to go about such a thing. Quite a challenge, but she did live for such challenges.

Grabbing up what some might know as a 'bucket' full of sand, she brought it closer to him and upended it on the floor, letting the fine grains spread out on the smooth stone. She smoothed it carefully with her metal paw, making it just thick enough for a good impression.

"Here... can you show me, what this creature is supposed to look like? Use whatever you want to make the image." She offered him a bit of what looked like twig, the end pointed. She also swept a paw at the odds and ends all around them, bits that hadn't yet made it into the construction of something else. "If you make a mistake, we can just smooth out the sand again and start over."

The goddess felt a bit of excitement, and just a little impatience, as she waited for Ary to start. Oh, this would be quite enjoyable... jewelry was always challenging to make.

At first Ary was confused when Sanna came at him with a bucket of something, but once she spread out the sand he knew what to do. With a smile he waved off the stick, "I think I can do a rough sketch with a claw." He then turned to the smooth sand.

Ary just sat there for a moment as he was picturing the dragon in his mind then in one corner of the sand he did a quick claw sketch of the dragon in flight, its wings spread out behind it and its snakelike body trailing behind it. "Now if I remember correctly this is what it looked like when her smoke creature flew around before dissipating but, if you don't mind me suggesting, I think something like this would be better to do as a necklace." As he spoke he added a bigger picture in the center of the sand of the same dragon but this time it was facing forward with its wings spread out on either side and its head arching to the left wing. Its body looped around itself once, almost a second time, before ending in a barbed point.

"I dont know if it matters but the dragon, that's what it was I think, had purple eyes."

Sanaa studied the pictures with narrowed eyes, pacing around the picture to get different angles on it. She waved off the name he gave it with a paw, tilting her head one way then another to study the picture better. She made a notation, some runic figure only she understood, that stood for something she wanted to remember, and waved at the sand again.

"How large are you wanting this? And made of what? How do you want to wear it? On a rope, or a thong, or something else?" She flicked her eyes to Ary in question, but was soon drawn back to the design, her eyes on it even as she backed towards the part of the cave that held her scraps, her bits and pieces of things to make whatever she wished. "Speak up, man! I don't have all day you know." She said as she turned to the pile, already starting to rummage in it.

If he didn't hurry with his answers, she was going to start on it without him. After all, wasn't she the goddess of crafting? She knew what needed to be done and how best to do it. She only asked his opinion as a courtesy, since the piece would be for him.

Aryaisha was a bit taken aback by the goddesses list of questions and apparent irritation when he didn't speak up fast enough. Maybe once he would have snapped back but ever since he started to actively change his personality he tries to just shrug everything off, like water on oil. That and this formidable lioness was also a goddess, someone he really didnt want to snap at.

Taking a deep breath he did his bests to answer her questions. "Not too big I'm thinking. Dont really know what to make it out of although I think sometype of metal would be best. As a necklace, the dragon would be the pendent. And I dont know how I would wear it, I'm sure you would know what was best in that case." He hoped it answered all her questions but just in case he added, "I trust your skills so I'm sure anything you craft will be good." besides other then a vague idea he didnt really have anything set in mind.

The goddess gave the lion a sidelong look before making some notations to herself in the sand, grumbling under her breath about materials. Yes, that could work... just a little tweaking to the design and she felt ready to tackle it.

Giving Ary a little push out of her way, she shifted her position around the design, then went to her work bench. Her voice came back over her shoulder, her tail twitching as her mind set to work.

"Why don't you go take a walk or go hunting or something? Its going to take me most of the day to finish it, and you'll just be bored here, or worse, in the way." She said as she started to tug a few feathers from her silver set of wings, setting them out carefully on the bench.

Ary didn't know what to do when the goddess pushed him out of the way but when she suggested that he go back out side he gladly agreed. She didn't seem to need or want his help and he really didn't want to be in her way. So with a nod and a quiet, "I'll be out side when you need me." he left the goddess to her crafting knowing that whatever she came up with would be just fine with him.

Sanaa worked quickly and efficiently, no wasted motion or materials. Anything left over was tossed back into her scrap piles, to be reused in some other manner. Nothing was useless, in her experience. One just had to find the right place for it, and then it became essential. Everything was part of something else, everything fit together like cogs in some great creation of incredibly intricacy.

It took a few hours, enough time for the sun to crawl a few paw spans across the sky, before the golden goddess emerged from her cave and cast her green eyes about for the lion that had come to her with a request.

"Aryaisha?" She called.
