Was it their looks, they way Zacky and Syn play the guitar. Their amazing songs, and how the videos always seem to be fantastic?
well for me when i first heard them, i was kind of in shock like "Oh my Jesus, how come i haven't already been listening to them"
and then i heard Zacky and Syn just play Guitar and i was like "Whoa buddy, okay favorite band, hands down" and every song i have ever heard by A7X i liked, they don't have on bad song, which is really hard for a band to pull off.
i was like "Thank you God, for actually creating something that i like, i thank you"
and They're all really good looking.-like sinfully good looking
But what got you drawn to Avenged Sevenfold?

for me it was their songs OMG i mean the lyrics the drums the bass the duelling guitars and matts voice! just everthing about them. o and the fact that they are all good looking just tops the cake! heart

I listened to a song, fell in love with their ways of the guitar,
saw a video, fell in love with their gorgeous-ness,
and I just think it's another band that looks great, but also
has amazing, meaningful songs, and great guitar and drums. c:

I first heard them in 2004, when my brother's friend used to play their video for Unholy Confessions on On Demand. I loved the song, but I didn't pursue them cause I didn't want to admit that I was into them. Then I dated a different one of my brother's friends and A7X was his favorite band. smile

one time like when i was 10 now im 14, i was flipping through dffrnt channels nd i stopped on mtv cuz a music video caught my attention. it was Bat Country!! wat made me fall in love with A7X was the amazing guitar solo. nd i thought they were a frickn hot band mrgreen

I first heard them in 2001 i would of been about 10 or 11 im now 20 what got my one to them was i was look for some new music and heard a song of they on the radio and was it was WOW that great i had all ready been listen to that kind of music so i got the album and LOVED THEM SINCE

what got me hooked was M.Shadows hes so awsome and his singing is to and all of there songs i love seize the day and bat country and so much more! heart

well before i heard avenged sevenfold i didnt even like music really(sad part of my life) but the guitars is what first drew me in and i slowly grew to love every part of it. now their my fav band ever, no one can ever take their place at the top.

A friend of mine turned me to them...ive always liked them since I heard Beast and the Harlot but couldnt identify them as well so she turned me to more of there songs and ive been a growing fan ever since! Now I Have two loves! Her and Avenged Sevenfold! blaugh

I first saw the video for Bat Country and was like "Omg..that singer is so freakin sexy!!" then the song got stuck in my head, so I looked them up on Yahoo music, and fell in Love with Unholy Confessions xD Within a month I owned City of Evil and Waking the Fallen

Well mine was probably about hearing about them from my friend when he saw them in concert. He told me to look them up, and fell in love with the art of subconscious Illusion, then gradually everything, keeping up with them on albums and whatnot. Love these guys
