What a beautiful journal! Pale green with soft, lightly scented pages the colour of a deep, long river on a lazy summer morning. Softly scattered prints adorn the cover, silhouettes and ghosts of flowers, plants, and swirling exotic designs. As it opens, a rush of fragrance fills the room, the sweet whiff of indolent days and pleasant nights. What journal could be more charming, more lovely, more refreshing than this one?

Personality Isa's a very quiet, very serious girl... in her own way. With a strong set of priorities in life that include chocolate, sunlight and pretty things (not necessarily in that order, mind you!) she's not one to waste words in idle conversation, not usually. Demanding and a little bit sulky like any young one, she's got an inquisitive mind but not the courage to seek things out herself. Slightly lazy and prone to taking afternoon naps, Isa is like a kitten really, but no real claws. At least not yet. The only time Mari has seen her angry is when a bee stung her... but even that it was fairly controlled. Sensuous in the sense that she likes to indulge her senses, she's got a very big sweet tooth but is also prone to eggs (especially steamed egg).
Generous with things that don't belong to her and constantly trying to give things away at the shop, Mari knows better than to leave this little chit in charge. Attracted to bright colors and passionate things, Isa doesn't really like the museum but does like paintings. (Its the environment, she would say).
Her most recent obsession would be the cracked peacock stained glass window Mari has hanging on the second floor, with her favorite activity being to curl up and sleeping under the green lights on a warm afternoon. She does have an tendency of pulling off her clothes though, and is slightly too free spirited sometimes for Mari's tastes.

Profession Owner of a small boutique that sells an odd assortment of clothing and knicknacks to young women.
Appearance
Hair Dark brown, it's kept cropped very short and almost chic. She has bangs that fall over her eyes and normally even at work she wears it unadorned.
Eyes Dark gray, and usually calm and sedate behind a pair of wire rimmed navy blue glasses. The glasses are mostly for decorative effect unless she's reading something with tiny print.
Build Small and a little bit voluptuous, she's got the typical soft figure of someone who wasn't born skinny, but works hard to try to maintain a more compact figure.
Clothing Normally dressed in soft, flowing skirts and a skimming tops in a variety of vibrant shades, you could say Mari looks almost like a runaway gypsy, except she likes to wear open toed sandals. A little bit vain about her clothes and believing that you are what you eat, she maintains a very regimented diet and constantly upkeeps her clothing to pristine conditions.
Personality
Mari is a gently, sweet soul who really enjoys spending her time in her store and making the world a little bit more beautiful to live in. She's sweet spoken and normally mild mannered, content with her lot in life. However, she does have dreams and is a little bit of a soft hearted romantic, which might explain the type of store she owns, and her own selective tastes in clothing and accessories. A bit dreamy, she doesn't really understand how people can find the world cold and harsh, as she can be a little bit naive sometimes as well.
Submissive rather than being an alpha female, she doesn't enjoy the day to day work because she does get a little bit distracted with life. A bit soft hearted when it comes to losing arguments and giving away free samples to her loyal costumers, you could say she is taken advantage of constantly.

Isa didn't spend much time talking to Luna so she doesn't really have an opinion on the older woman. She enjoys Michael's company, and is fascinated with the concept of fire. She has plans on giving him a little present soon, and knows that she will see him often.
Luna seems strong, confident, a proper mother and probably an amazing teacher. She likes Michael's spunk and always finds herself pleasantly surprised because Isa seems to like to talk around him.
NIKOLAI
Isa found him in the snow and bought him home with Mari. He's a bit of a mysterious one, and she doesn't really know what to think about the situation. She has plenty of questions for him, and wants answers.
Doesn't understand why Nikolai seems so fearful of her.

THE HOUSE
Mari lives above the store in an apartment. It consists of a combined living and dining room, a small open concept kitchen and two bedrooms. Mari uses the larger bedroom that does have a bathroom inside it, and has used the other bedroom as a study/den. However, with the arrival of Isa, Mari has converted the second room into another bedroom, and is planning on opening up the walls so that they can share the bathroom.
It is sparsely decorated, the floors are of blonde polished wood, the walls covered in pale wallpaper that does have a soft edged pattern to it, rather like a water color painting. She doesn't collect much clutter (as said clutter can usually be found downstairs, in the store instead) and instead chooses to decorate the rooms with sentimental pieces collected from holidays from abroad.
THE BOUTIQUE
Mari's boutique is called ANGE, and is a small, compact little store that sells an odd assortment of romantic clothing and jewelry for women. It is a really a very indulgent project supported by her parents, however she does make a tidy enough profit to garner it a good investment.
Mari can almost always be found in the store if she is in town. However, what she enjoys most of all is travelling the world to discover new goods and new brands to sell in her store. You could say this is probably the highlight of her live. She goes on these trips every year, and enjoys herself immensely.

Stage: Fallen Messenger 7.22.09 When you come upon the scene, it is a weak and dying Herald that you find, unable even to stand. A few scattered feathers on the ground are the only remnants of the wings it once possessed. It has come to this place to die...or be saved? That, of course, is up to you. You are alone when you find the angel. The Heralds have long gone unsaved, and though it appears to you, it does not hold much hope of living on. Near to where the two of you meet rests a grey stone slab that the angel seems desperate to reach. With your help, the Herald climbs upon it, needing something from you to save its life. What will you choose to give it? And what significance does that item hold for you? Is it a family heirloom? Something you happened to have on hand? Something you'd purchased earlier that day? A lucky charm? You may have noticed that many details have been left off. This is because we want you to have plenty of freedom to develop the scene yourself. Consider time of day, weather, season, etc. when you post. --- 7.22.09 You sit inside, protected and comfortable as the weather rages outside. The evening meal is on the table, and you're filled with an intense feeling of well-being. Your mind veers, against your will, to the dying creature that you had come across. It certainly wouldn't be comfortable tonight. What are you thinking? It's probably already long gone. But...what if it isn't? What's it actually like outside? Do you go in search of the Herald? What do you bring to make it more comfortable, if so? Do you even find it? Stage: Messenger Reborn 10.13.09 Time has passed, and your Herald is becoming fond of you and beginning to show affection. You two have grown closer, but that's not the only aspect of growing. The Herald is maturing into a young child before your eyes. No longer dying and weak and no longer sexless, it now has beautiful angel white hair and dark blue eyes of unusual depth. You may have noticed that the Herald has been scratching and touching its back for a while, and now it's finally explained. The herald's wings have started to grow in. How do you deal with the child's discomfort? Do you have any remedies to ease it? How does he/she react? How do the wings reflect the item given? --- 11.20.10 Your Herald has been acting strangely all morning, sneaking around the house, and jumping at every small noise. The cause of this behavior is discovered shortly; you find that a priceless object has been broken and it would appear that it was your Herald that broke it. What is the object and what is its importance? How do you react to this? Do you punish them or let them off with a warning? How does your Herald react? Was it your Herald that broke the object or maybe s/he was an observer to the act?

*RP Playdate :: There are three options to fulfill one RP playdate. They are as follows:

For example, if you are RPing with someone else in the "Our Town" thread, and it last seven days IRL, but IC it is one day, it counts as one RP no matter how many times you post.
2) Prompt Think-Tank. There is a thread in the guild that has a whole bunch of prompts. Some of them will be age-specific, and some will be open for all ages. But, unless the prompt can apply to many things (i.e. holidays), you can only use a prompt ONCE.
3) Participate in an event. The event itself will define what is required in order to get credit.
