the stables are exactly what their name implies, a public stable for all sorts of ridden animals. you can get in for a small fee, and if there is no stable for your particular mount, they will make one on the spot. horse stables are free and anything larger only costs 10 copper coins and for an extra five copper coins, you can get your mount groomed and fed. the stable itsself is made of ebony and is very large so it's hard to miss. if you need any help finding it, just ask any guard and they will point you in the right direction.

Kel dropped in from a high flight behind the stable to avoid arousing suspicion. He walked around to the front and looked around. He was able to pick out the stable master from the hands and immediately walked over to him. "Excuse me!" He held out a hand, "Kel Theranos, Cataclysm's Edge Smithy." He gave the man a firm handshake before pulling out a small scrap of parchment. "Do you have a man named Eric Woodson under your employment?"

"Woodson? yeah, the militia kid. He's in the back giving the baths.", the manager replied.

"Thanks." Kel started walking down the main passage between the individual stalls until he reached the back. There was a young man with short fuzzy hair in a pair of overalls, scrubbing down a deep red and brown stallion. "Woodson?", Kel asked.

The youngster didn't turn his head as he continued his work, "Who wants to know?"

"The guy who runs the smithy at the edge of town. You filled out an order for a set of long swords."

Woodson turned around immediately. He noticed Kel carrying a wrapped object and the order form. "Jeepers! I thought that would take months." He stood up and fished out a large sack of coins tossing them to Kel.

Kel tossed the wrapped up swords to Eric and fished through the coin sack, he counted up the coins by touch then turned around. "I like to think efficiency and quality don't always add time to a process." Kel immediately made his way to the exit and turned the corner as he left to make another delivery.

Menos let up on the reins and patted the horse to calm it down. That long trip through the hills and mountains of fire and air had come to an end. Now it was just a short trot up to the stables of capital city. The tawny horse slowed to a smooth walk toward the stables. Menos glanced back at Cyra and gave a slight smile. "I don't suppose you need to stop off in town first. I can probably arrange for a carriage trip the rest of the way to the castle." The gates to the free range were open, but it looked like some of the hands outside were a bit distracted by the appearance of the two on horseback.

Cyra's hair was full of tangles and she looked very disheveled as they finally came to a stop. She jumped off of the horse as soon as the stable hands came up to them. "A carriage would be more than lovely. I don't care about stopping in town, put me in the water tower so I can swim and forget this...this beast!" She glared at the horse, who in turn snorted at her. "You know there's a reason sea horses are only as big as your hand."

Menos climbed down from the irate tawny horse and handed the reins to one of the stable workers. "Do bring around a stagecoach," he commanded to the man, shifting his eyes to Cyra's frazzled and dismayed appearance, "Immediately." He stepped away from the man and patted the horse before it and the workers departed for the stables ahead. "It really is a different world beneath the waves, isn't it?" he mused, holding out a hand straight in front of him. The moisture of the air ebbed and welled as small drops of mist came together to form a sphere of water about the size of a fishbowl floating just beyond the palm of Menos' hand. "Here," He shifted the orb of water jostling it gently and causing an internal swishing but maintaining the spherical shape as he 'handed' it to Cyra. "I hope this would suffice till we reach the tower."

A fairly new stagecoach of dark coloring and cherrywood accents led by two deep brown horses and a single driver came rolling up the nearby path and came to a stop waiting for the two to embark.

"More than a different world." She said as she took the orb of water. She rested her cheek against it, feeling the cool freshness of it. She kept the shape of the orb while slowly licking up some drops off the outer surface. It felt like a slice on heaven in her dry throat. She looked at the stagecoach like it was the most wonderful thing in the world other than the orb of water. She looked at the Prince for permission to enter it, she wasn't sure if she should wait for royalty to enter first or if it'd be okay if she went in because she was female.

Menos postured himself in a half ushering position with one hand gestured toward the stagecoach as the driver opened the cab. "After you," he nodded to Cyra, mostly out of practice. It clicked into his head for a moment to wonder if human culture applied to certain denizens of the deap sea but since Cyra was a baroness she had to have been exposed to some amount of surface society. By the time that train of thought had passed Menos had already filed in after Cyra to depart. He was ultimately lulled from his minor distraction by the driver as he closed the coach door and asked "where to, m'lord?"

"The Water embassy at castle Draklor." Menos replied. The coachman climbed back onto the front and flitted the reins commanding the horses to begin moving. The Stagecoach took off, leaving the stables behind and heading down the main roads toward Castle Draklor.
