Fanfiction for PotO can be good or bad, depending on the writer.
I have a friend who's writing a Phantom/Raoul fic. Interesting, but disturbing at the same time.

I have two out there, but I'm too lazy at the moment to recieve them. That, and they haven't been worked on since last Summer. >>;; I'm such a bad writer.
I'm working on two more though, that are moving along horrendously slow. Guess I'll need to find some time. If anyone has time, since I'm so lazy, my pen name is ViolinRose.

There's a fantastic humorfic on FanFiction.net called "The Diary of an Erik", and then there's the companion piece, "The Diary of a Fop", which is, of course, the diary of Raoul. <3<3<3

I like reading fanfics but I dont really admire the fact that most fanfics (that I have read anyway) are very inaccurate. They're interesting to read but just not for me...

Inside My Mind is written by me, it's short, no chapters. It's just an idea I started to work with, so it's no masterpiece. I'm gonna edit it some day... I swear. It's about Christine and Raould together after it all. I'm too lazy to read the long ones right now, its too late anyway. My opinion on phanfics is that they can be good, with whatever ship people have, but usually people shift the characters' personalities by making Erik too... well perfect. I even read one once where Raould got Erik's personality and Erik got Raoul's. I'm not even that much of a canon stickler... I just like the characters to be the characters.

for the most part, they suck. With all the Mary Sues and Erik going back in time, most of them suck. I'd say one in every 5 or more is actually worth reading.
