So... my best friend (let's call her J) got a job as a camp councilor for the summer, and this was her first week off in awhile. So having not been home for a month, she had not yet seen the new Harry Potter movie. Ignoring the fact that she has never read the books, I've already seen the movie, and we really should be packing up for our epic road trip to San Fransisco at the end of the month, we went to go see it.
We've been best friends since Jr. High, so when we're together we end up acting like we're thirteen. Which leads us to be very obnoxious people to go to the movies with, because we make sarcastic comments throughout the entire thing. But we're quiet about it, and usually don't bother anyone else. Until now.
We were sitting down, eating our smuggled in gummy worms, and watching the previews. Didn't take long before the oh-so-groan-worthy logo of 'Summit Entertainment' attacked our eyes. So I said (loudly, because really, there were about ten other people in the theater ((four of which we went to school with)) and if you're a Twitard, you've already seen the trailer. Multiple times.) "Here we go."
Bella-Sue: It's my birthday... J: We're gonna party like it's my birthday! Random friend from school: Way to kill the song, J.
Bella: The cake could feed 50, and you don't eat... Me: They're going to fatten you up and eat you. That's why they make you a gingerbread house later on.
Jasper: *Runs to eat her.* Me: GET HER! EAT HER! Audience: mostly laughter, but some angry sounding whispering from a few rows down.
Edward: This is the last time... you'll ever see me... Me: Hallelujah! J: Me too! I don't want to see him! Friend from school: I'm calling bullshit!
Scene with what's-his-face: How much could he love you... somethingsomething. Me: *Trying to copy his accent while laughing and failing* Come on, man, eat her already.
And this seems to be the breaking point for the little girls a few rows ahead of us. One girl turns around, "WILL YOU SHUT UP?!"
At this point the two guys in the front row (who were laughing at us when we first entered the room 10 minutes early for the movie and were visiting with random guy from school, and knew were were going to make fun of the trailer) are not only doubled over laughing, but cheering us on. The girl was livid. So I replied with a very mature, "Nope. Not going to happen. It's the freaking previews, get over it."
If looks could kill.
So she's still glaring at me as the screen goes black and says "New Moon, coming some random date that I'm pretty sure is near Thanksgiving."
I booed. Three or four other people booed. Twitard was whispering about calling in the manager. It was kind of awesome.
... This post was way longer than I expected.

I'm glad they didn't show that trailer when I saw it. The theater I saw it at had several teens that may have been Twitards and I'd really struggle not to be like "Eat the damn cake you anorexic sue!"

When I saw the Preview I booed loudly and made fun of the dialogue too... It was funny, but all we got were a few shushes and that was that.
