I just saw an intense preview for the fall premier of House, another of my favorites. Whenever I see something like that, I always get this kind of hysteria welling up inside me and all I want to do is laugh with pure giddyness. Do promos of the shows you like that are as strong as that make you feel like that, or is it just me?

I can get giddy too.
There's three shows that get me all worked up - 24, Burn Notice and NCIS

lol I can't relate but I got giddy when they decided to make a 21 Jump Street movie, but then I found out jonah hill was making it, I stopped getting giddy and I got mad.

they're making a 24 movie, so why not?! It's a popular show.
....but 24 is set up in a completely different style. It's all ran in real time, you can't miss one episode or you're lost. Therefore they have a good reason to make a movie. They made a short one before season 7 started.
so I say why not. I'm sure they can think of a good movie plot. There's a lot of tv shows out there that would make a great movie - grey's anatomy, house, Lost ...etc.

YEAH!!!!!!!! There It should be like, four hours long, and like, a big explosion, and there should be a 14 year old that Vance temperarily put on Gibbs' team , and Gibbs didn't like it at first, but then he realized how advanced she was! And the girl's name should be Karsyn Kale! And at then end, she dies saving tony's life, and we learn Tony had a little sister who was murdered when she was 14, and Karsyn reminded him of his sister! (In other words, a summary of the book I'm writing.)
OH!!!!!!!!! And McGee finds a bomb, and he runs away just fast enough that he doesn't die, and the team was far enough away already. Now THAT would be epik.
Wow, I didn't know I could type that much in less than five minutes.

I get excited too. I always miss the season premier of a show because I unexpectedly get busy..

I get giddy and spazzy whenever one of those comes on. I just cannot sit still when I see one. I also love House as well.
