Which FMA series is your favorite and why?
I like the original anime better than the manga because it was the first one I saw and I like the whole "how homunculus are created" in the anime better than the manga, but I still read the manga and watch brotherhood any way.

I have watched the original anime.... currently watching the ongoing brotherhood and currently reading the manga
I think I will the manga and the brotherhood better than the orginal anime

I like the manga the most because that is the creator's version of the story, but I like brotherhood more than the first series because the director keeps more to the manga's storyline.

I adore all three.
You can practically put the manga and brotherhood together - they're original and have many things the first anime doesn't
but the first anime has things the others don't
all three involve amazing, wonderful, brilliantly-created characters
but the original is the best

i personally haven't seen Brotherhood yet (it looks awesome!) but i think that the anime is a bit more interesting. granted, both are wicked awesome, but i think i like the anime better.

I used to love the original anime...then I saw the movie...that sucked...then I started reading the manga and watching Brotherhood. Holy fudge monkeys they are soooo much better. The manga/Brotherhood are so much in depth, they have more characters, and Ed actually got tall!! (LOL) For those of you that still only have seen the original anime and have not read the manga, you are missing out. The manga was first, thus every FMA fan should read where it all started.
P.S- If you can't tell, I hate the first anime.

I have read the manga from chapter 50 (I think) and watched both FMA and FMA:brotheerhood.
The original anime is good, interesting and fascinating. However, the manga and the brotherhood is way better, even significantly better.
Anyways, now that I've read the manga before I watched the upcoming episodes of Brotherhood,
I can say that I like the manga and the brotherhood equally.
I like the manga because the plot has more details.
While, I like the brotherhood because it's simply more lively.
