Well, like the topic said, I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for my Fiancee and I on how to up our chances of getting pregnant.
He tried before with his ex give or take a year after she miscarried 3 months along.
She never got pregnant before for whatever reason. (They did everything right to get pregnant before as well)

We've only been trying to two months - however his parents tried for eleven years until they were finally able to conceive.
One of my aunts was also not suppose to ever have a child. (When she did, miraculously, it was incredibly difficult for her)

So I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions.
I know I should probably start taking prenatal, eat well and excercise.
He excercises and takes vitamins already, and he says if he eats a diet higher in zinc it ups the sperm count.

I also know we shouldn't be having sex every day, maybe every four.
And I should try to figure out when I'm ovulating - however I think that may be tough - so that way we can have sex then and it will be more likely that i conceive.

But I'd love to hear of any other suggestions please!
I would prefer not to have to wait eleven years to have my baby, lol.

*Make sure you are seeing an ob-gyn.

*Yes, it's best to take prenatal vitamins before you even start trying.

*Make sure you are your partner are not smoking, drinking alcohol, or taking illegal drugs. If either of you are on any prescription drugs, ask your doctor if they're safe to take while trying to conceive.

*Figuring out when you ovulate doesn't have to be difficult. It's mostly a matter of getting familiar with your body and your cycle.

The typical cycle is 28 days long. The first day of your period is day 1. Ovulation typically occurs around day 14. Since sperm can live in the v****a for a few days it would probably be best to have sex every day around days 10-16. You can use a calendar like www.mymonthlycycles.com to help you keep track.

But not everyone has that perfect cycle. So figuring out when you ovulate might not be as easy as just counting days. But you can watch for signs of ovulation (spotting, cramping, temperature changes, or discharge that looks like egg whites). There are also ovulation testers that you can buy. You can do a search for sites like this http://www.womenshealth.gov/pregnancy/before-you-get-pregnant/trying-to-conceive.cfm for more information or ask your doctor.
