Entrusted with sprigs of life anew
Hearken to arcane voices
Soothing injured of the many, the few
In life we rejoice

This is a pack of healers and the like
Who live in a calm peace of neutrality
Well at least as much as they can.
Take a look around

Packlands

u/c

There is a tree and a few rocks. I think the dirt is nice.

Somewhere nice and plentiful.

Society

On Breeding/Mating:
There is no pack limit or restrictions, really, related to breeding, although gratuitous amounts of pups are looked down upon, since they might not be able to provide for them. So overzealous parents will have to pull extra work to provide.
Generally same-sex pairings are not looked down upon, at least publicly in the pack. To each his own, though they are accepted, one cannot vouch for what all thinks.

On the importance of Herbalism:
The use and knowledge of herbs is important to the pack because of their ideals of peace among all Varg and generally Lera. Helping others is a way to gain trust and therefore peace, so healing is a big part of that due to the first Drappa's great influence on the members. From her influence it has become tradition and a main part of the pack life.

On each other:
Pack members are generally courteous and kind to one another, and in usual circumstances, live by the saying "treat others how you want them to treat you." That isn't to say that they are all super kind hippies. There is tension, stress, and the normal fights though this is much lessened from normal packs.
They believe in being in balance of nature. If it seems too much on the bright side they understand if a fight breaks out to keep the balance even.

On specialized festivals:
One thing the Panacea celebrate is the days of the equinoxes. Their belief in balance has also caused them to herald the time when day and night are even in length.
As with their whole term of balance, the equinoxes are celebrated differently.
With the spring equinox, all roamers are called in, and activities halt for a day. Each Varg of the pack is given a seed of their choice and they plant where they like sometime during the day. If your seed grows within the coming month, it is said you will have good luck for the whole year.
The winter equinox is heralded with various competitions of strength, story recital, eating contests, and any other competition that comes to mind. Unlike the spring celebration, the winter one is optional.

On Apprenticeships/Partnerships:
As with everything, the young learn from the old. So healers may take apprentices to show them the ways of herbalism. The same can be done with warriors and the like. This is optional to each wolf, though pups are strongly encouraged to learn and the older ones are encouraged to teach.

Going alone isn't with the friendship and peace ideals of the Panacea. So every roaming healer/collector is partnered with a warrior to help and guard them. Most often, these are mates or friends, though partners may be random. Very rarely do some roamers go off completely alone. This is for protection in numbers and general companionship on long journeys away.

On Security:
Since roaming to collect herbs is part of pack life, you'd expect them to be very nomadic and scattered. However, they do have an established den and packlands with a force there at all times. The Panacea acknowledge that not everyone holds their ideals to be true and that attack and raids can be likely by those thinking that they are useless.
Roamers are prevented from leaving if there are not enough around to suitability guard the pack lands, though the borders of such are lenient as to where exactly they lay. In most times this is not the case and such are free to go.
With the same knowledge of not everyone with their ideals is the main reason they have a fighting and scout force. Defense is always necessary, who knows what could be thrown at them?

Though with The Panacea's helpful ways, they have many alliances among packs and Varg. This helps them to keep their peace and with the gathering of rare herbs scattered across the lands.

On some jobs/status/abilities:
Collectors-
Collectors are a job specific to this pack for the strange ways they hold. They collect and store herbs for healing purposes along with aesthetic and other reasons. The Collectors themselves range and roam along with another member of the pack to get these rare finds. They use Larka's blessing often to get past pack borders.

Storytellers-
These Varg are important to the Panacea. A good story makes good listening and good feelings all around, bringing unity and entertainment. They also keep the pups in line and their attention held, and who doesn't want that?

Kerl-
The Panacea like to associate themselves with random lone wolves about the area, especially for knowledge obtained while they are roaming about. They often ask for the location of herbs, fungus, or other such useful plant life in the areas the Kerls travel to. They have been known to offer food for information.

Speakers-
Speakers are held close to the pack's heart, since they are seen as the most in tune with nature. Every member generally tries to listen and understand other creatures to improve the peace and balance, though the few who actually have this ability are held in high regard.

Seers-
Like most packs, they are divided on this point.
Some believe the Seers are rejects of the balance of nature and do not deserve to live and that they have only gained life by chance.
Others believe that Seers are as in tune with nature as they believe speakers to be, and sometimes even more.
Opinions range with each wolf, though the pack will accept them, although grudgingly by some.

Recruitment

What I am looking for in people is at least the ability to type coherent sentences.
Literacy and the abilities to use grammar and punctuation are preferred greatly, but not a requirement. Though no matter what the shop's RP rules still apply.
Please do not adorn your writing with smilies and know the difference between 'your' and 'you're'.
Other qualities I'll be looking for are the ability to get along with others or to at least correct them kindly or stand them long enough to leave and vent into your pillow.
I know no one is perfect.
---------------

As for wolves.
Anyone of any age and background is generally accepted, unless there is a reason not to.
Any wolf wanting to join would have to have some liking of herbalism or knowledge of it.
~~

More details may be added or changed later after I get a story.

Notes

Title of the pack is still under debate but I've grown quite attached to it.

There is no wolf to be alpha currently but I have one in mind to be made once I have the moolah.

The idea of this pack is also debatable as I am not sure of its possibility. Feel free to supply your knowledge, make suggestions, or question this.
