F1 Champ Hamilton may consider NASCAR? The reigning F1 world champion, Lewis Hamilton, was quizzed on his future by Sun readers in an exclusive Q&A session. McLaren ace Hamilton, 24, said: "I'm into all kinds of sports, a bit like Michael Schumacher. I'd love to try a MotoGP bike but not particularly race one. I would love to try one of Malcolm Wilson's rally cars - and one day I might try a NASCAR. But if Mercedes-Benz want to go to Le Mans one day and take me, I'll do that." Hamilton ruled out chasing glory at the gruelling Indy 500, though. He said: "To do the Indy 500 you have to be going at it. It would be unreasonable for me to expect to get in the car and go and win it.(The Sun)(7-20-2009) Comment here
That would be very interesting to see him in Nascar. It would also be good for the whole diversity thing Nascar is trying to accomplish. It would be interesting because he wouldn't be like Bill Lester who only made news because he was black, Lewis is to F1 as Joey Logano is to Nascar. He's still really young and is incredibly talented. I for one would love to see him in nascar. here's his wiki for those who don't know him.

He's more than Joey..he is the jeff gordon in F1. I used to only follow F1 half and half...catching only at the most 8 races of the year..lucky if double digits...now ..I record all the races..all thanks to 2 guys...Michael S. and Lewis... Its been unbelievable to watch him grow through the series and rise to be a champion... still don't like his wife ..but thats ok... It would be awesome to see him here... even in IRL let alone nascar...If he came it would be stupendous. Way beyond Bill, Marc, and Willy T. ...however... I don't see him doing it for awhile...at least for another 5-6 years... it is true that benz is having a poor year this year... but in f1 that always happen...slow up on the tech and you'll be last bet.... however though...it all depends on the airheads in control... these idiots need to talk to Tony and Grand am... learn from their tears...

he's got the same thing kyle busch has going for him and that is that he's still really young, if he wanted to go to Nascar he still has plenty of time to. The logano reference was just to make the point of how good he is.
