I became interested in the teachings of Dr. Doreen Virtue back in 2001, when I read her book, "Healing with the Fairies", which is mostly her autobiography, but it had gone into some depth about her communication with the Faery and Angel world. In another small book she had written, "Earth Angels", she goes into depths about incarnated Angels, Elementals, Star People (what we call "aliens"), Walk-Ins, and Wise Ones.
Keep a note that Dr. Virtue considered herself a Christian Scientist, but she had opened herself up to the Faery world, and one of her sons is a Pagan. Her teachings can coincide with some Paganism points of view.
What are Light Workers?
They are people who are incarnations of one or more of the groups that I had mentioned above, who are going to be needed in the future to help heal the world and those who live in it. I don't know the exact facts about this.

Incarnated Angels
Incarnated Angels are highly emotionally sensitive, and are loving and caring, who anyone could just walk up to them and feel comfortable about talking about their problems to them. They tend to be a bit overweight, may have a thyroid problem, and may have at least one addiction, such as smoking or alcoholism. They tend to be in abusive relationships, as they try to be the guardian angel and try to help the person they're with to change their life for the better - the person they're trying to help being the abuser.

Incarnated Elementals
These beings are from the Fae world - fairies, elves, dragons, unicorns - any other beast and being that comes from there.
Some of these people tend to be energetic and mischievous, most are lean in build. Most women would prefer to have their hair cut in the pixie style.

Star People
Those from other worlds who walk among us in human form. Most likely they were incarnated to Earth from their own planet.

Walk-Ins
Ever heard of someone dying in a hospital, but they come back to life, and claim they're another person entirely? These other people most likely are those who had died somehow before their time and had some important task to complete, and when someone else died, most likely before their time, that person takes over to complete the mission they had to do.

Wise Ones
These people were more likely re-incarnated rather than incarnated. They were the witches during the Burning Times and the Witch Trials of the world who were wrongfully accused of being in league with Satan and performing heinous crimes by magic, who were drowned, burned at the stake, hanged, or tortured in many other ways. They may have come back to teach who witches truly are, and to show that what they had done back then was not wrong or evil. I think this group also include Native Americans, and other Pagans that were also treated wrongly.
