I. Introduction. II. Rules. III. Current Character Summaries.
I. Introduction.
Welcome to the Gilgamesh IX club, located in Galaxy0073 on Planet6A. This is the place where the bizarre and the everyday meet, although some may believe they are one and the same. Feel free to enjoy all and any services we may have here, including the pool, bar, hot-tub, lounge area, and rooming, to name a few. May the devious devise danger, the beautiful win hearts, the fools trip over their own feet, and the drunkards drink themselves into oblivion.
I raise my glass to plotlines appearing quickly.

I. Introduction. II. Rules. III. Current Character Summaries.
The Rules- 1) As of this initial post, there is no plot, and no planning. I'd like for the people involved to take the initiative and start an interesting story. 2) Magical powers, ability, created races, and so on are permitted. Your character can be anything you want it to be. 3) NO ONE is to submit a character profile through PM or through the thread. You are to let people know what your character is like throughout the storyline and your posts. 4) No godmoding. Whatsoever. 5) Romance is permitted, but no cybering. 6) Swearing is fine, as long as it stays in character. 7) The action doesn't need to stay inside the club. You can travel outside of it if you feel it will further the plotline. 8 ) Use italics when expressing character thought.
If need be, I will update the rules.
Also, every thirty pages, a new thread will be made, just so it is easier to join for others, so they don't have to read like... a hundred pages if they want to jump in. With every new thread, a brief summary of the developing plotline will be posted by myself on my Kjralon username... However, it is my goal to keep the RP freeform.

((Basically, it's a hang-out RP that centers around the club/inn/tavern/whatever. EXTREMELY freeform. You can start wherever you wish, but should eventually make your way to the club. I'll start in a minute. I don't wanna be the bartender, though, so whoever wants to take over the job, please feel free to do so. Prior to getting one, though, I guess I can just manipulate one as an extra character.))

(( xd Okay. RP commence!))
Rain spilled from the sky, lashing at her back. The pavement flew backwards beneath her feet, and once around a massive wall of brick, she slid to the pavement in a heap. The water soaked up into the black of her clothing, and she sighed. The rainwater slid to her teeth, and she sat up, shaking herself off. Glancing around the corner, she felt relieved to see that they'd left. They'd been hardest to shake off on the landing strip.
A sparking, neon sign caught her eye. Squinting, she struggeled to read "Gilgamesh IX", which sputtered above the wooden doorway. It was small, and cuddling the sidewalk between two massive, glassed-in towers. The office buildings seemed like a defensive for the small place.
It looks indistinct enough. Noir shook the short hair obscuring her view out of her face, and looking furtively both ways down the road, slipped across through the storm and into the door of the club. The inside belied its outer appearance.
A flames flickered in the far wall, surrounded by its stone hearth, and a sinkable sofa and three easy chairs filled the area about the extra warmth. The far wall, next to the fireplace, was stacked with books that casually stood to brush the dusky ceiling. Black counters stretched the length of the leftmost wall, and a doorway opened to what seemed like an orderly kitchen. Bar stools lined the counter, and behind the counter were glimmering bottles, coffee cups, and other gadgets of every shape and size that are required to run a bar.
Noir warily took a step into the room. "Hello?"

"I," greeted a small black woman, not looking at Noir but instead focused on the mahogany of the table in front of her, of which she was leaning against as if unable to stand on her own, "don't understand why everyone who enters is so wet."
She glanced out the window a moment and added, "I don't see any rain or whatnot."

Noir's brows dove together, ever so slightly, and she turned to face the voice. The shuriken dangling from her left earlobe spun in the light, glinting, and she noticed that the voice's owner was staring at the table, rather than at her. Soaking, white hair tumbled across her vision briefly, and Noir shook it out of her face again. It never stayed back.
"Wet?" She nodded in the general direction of the closest window. "It's raining. What do you mean, you don't see it?"
Pale, blue eyes glowed faintly from beneath her hair. Grimacing inwardly, she reached up and twisted it back, and stuck several bobby pins, which seemingly appeared from nowhere, into her hair.
"Is there a place I can stay here? Got any rooms?" Her fingers hovered just inside her coat at her wristblades, still feeling a little uncomfortable with her surroundings. She glanced down at her clothes.
Damn, I'm gonna have to get my trench cleaned.

"Hard to recall last time as a person here stated understandin' much anything. 'Course, my memory's not what it was these times." The voice, having carried up from behind and beneath the bar counter, soon revealed itself as another female figure of a creamed coffee complexion, her cheeks a bit smudged by some unsavory substance having adhered itself to the unseen surfaces of the furniture.
Kelei's smile defied the mussed appearance with a wealth of amiability as she regarded the new arrival. "Find yourself a spot by the fire, you'll hold alright in a spot. I'll be to you in a minute - have to get this all done away before messing about with customers and all. Watch your step dripping on the floors, hey? Hate to see you drop after a trip. I'll be along, don't you worry." And with this promise the woman stepped aside, curling around the doorway to the kitchen to, one assumes, clean up a bit.

She nodded briefly to the two women, still unsure as of what to make of them. "Thanks."
Uncomfortable, she hung up her trenchcoat on the pegs near the door. The two katanas strapped to the inside clanged against the other metals, and she hesitantly unstrapped her wristblades and slid them into the pocket of the coat.
Noir wandered over to the sofa, and curled up as close to the fire as she could get, kicking off her boots.
She was asleep in moments.
((Gotta go; I'll be back later tonight.))

"What you got weapons for?"
Tori's eyes narrowed, flitting over the coat suspiciously before looking over Noir in the same manner. The grip on the table in her right hand grew tighter, forcing her knuckles to pale; she cocked her head slightly to the right.
"You don't need weapons, do you?"

Distant sounds of running water begin and end in short order, immediately preceeding Kelei's return to the main bar with hair noticeably more damp than before. Now cleansed, her youthful features are more clearly exposed, as is the small scar at the end of her chin: just a thin horizontal line along the jaw's edge.
As the bar appears to be relatively empty but for the two most active - if sleeping can be considered activity - guests, it does not take the lone tender more than a few moments to notice rising tension between the pair. The able-bodied woman sorted together a glass with some ice and shot a few gulps of water into it, then hopped neatly over the bar to approach Tori's table. "Now, now, miss, ain't a need for that sorta nerves over some washed up kitten, hey? Here, have a wash and settle in a bit - let the little one sleep off whatever she's goin' from. If you're so nervous about it I'll just bring her gear up to a room, and then there'll be no problem, yeah?" The glass runs smooth across the tabletop into Tori's reach.

[[I feel kinda crap at RPing compared to you two. biggrin ]]
Her dirt eyes darted over to the woman advising her and down to the glass before her. "I don't need any cleaning."
Her focus wavered and settled back on Kelei.
[[Go suckage.]]
