Welcome the School for the "Gifted", where you will be learning how to properly control your "Gift". The Government believes that the children who attend this school are not of right mind and are here for the help that they are being given. When in truth, children who come here tend to have gifts, or abilities that set them apart from others. Some can fly, shapeshift, read minds, control technology, and so forth. And here at this school they are taught by teachers who may also have these gifts, or abilities on how to get a better perfection of them.

Welcome to this school, we hope you will have a wonderful learning experience with us. But first, there are some rules of conduct that must be adhered to at all times.

School Rules:

- Using your powers against another peer or teacher when not permitted will result in expulsion.
- Uniforms must be perfect or nearly as perfect that they can be. If this rule is not adhered to then it will result in a detention after three warnings.
- Students with averages of lower than a 'C' will be required to attened after and before school tutorials until improvment is made.
- Dorm checks will be made daily at random to ensure no students have been skipping class or engaging in inappropriate activity.
- Students are not permitted to leave campus without permission of a teacher or guardian.
- Insubordination will not be tolerated.

Bio: Most of her past is unknown other than the fact that she has been the Headmistress of this school for MANY years.

What Class/s do you teach: Biology. However, he also knows a ton about chemistry and several other… ‘forbidden’ sciences…
Personality: Nathan is very sadistic, and isn’t all that good at hiding it. He’s also pretty intimidating to the underclassmen and doesn’t mind hurting people.
Bio: The man used to run an asylum named Gnidobrof Institution, a place for people with superpowers that society thought were mentally deranged. The people who were sent there at first thought it was just an institution, but it’s really more like a torture chamber. Seth Massri and Mina Nette were sent to this asylum at one point, and when another ‘insane’ superpowered kid tried to attack Gnidobrof, he sent his army of monsters on them- in an attempt to kill everyone. Though the teens escaped and no one even found out about the asylum (the school system thought all the teens were insane anyway and just making up lies) Nathan has temporarily passed over control of the place to his wife and has set his sights on this school…
Other: Gnidobrof has an odd fetish for tearing people apart and then ‘mixing and matching’ the remains to create a sort of Frankenstein. He has an extremely large collection of these oddball creatures that he plans to use in an army, y’know, eventually.
Appearance: I’ll draw a picture for him too later… but for nao: Nathan is tall and has an average build for his age, but don’t be fooled, ‘cause he could snap you like a twig in a second. His dark eyes have an almost sadistic gleam to them which scares many of his students. Gnidobrof wears an ‘innocent enough’ looking lab coat and has pallid skin with dark red hair.

Personality: Ms. Hopper can be quite spontaneous and sporadic and is normally the favorite teacher of students who don’t like to try. The only time in which a student would ever get in trouble with her is if they don’t bend to the spontaneousness of Ms. Hopper’s ideas.
Bio: Elpida Hopper was the daughter of farmers and was also borne into a large family of eight children. Elpida was the middle child and the most wild minded, not feeling sustained with caring for vegetation and animals. When the opportunity arose, she took the chance to go to school and become a teacher for the arts, where Ms. Hopper can help her students understand the amusingness of art.

Ability/Gift: Originally had none, but when he passed away, he managed to take over soulless bodies, as in dolls or stuffed animals.

Personality: He likes to joke around and have fun, yet he can be direct and straight to the point when needed. Being a kid himself, still, he can relate to other people’s feelings and therefor also advice them in how to approach and handle things.
Bio: Terry, better known as Mozuki, was born in a family of four sons, a hard working father and a loving mother. He loved to hang around, climb trees and be himself. Mozuki was Aisha’s childhood friend, who had been stabbed in the back of his neck, dying within seconds. The reason why and who could have done it remained unknown.
Other: Though he’s dead and not aging anymore, he still grows mentally, and has too landed and passed puberty rather quickly.

Personality: Sophia is someone who dosn't care if you mess with her but when her friends and family get involved, there is a large chance that getting a fist in your face wont be your only problem. She is often the person who when a challenge is set before her she will try everything that she can to complete the task at hand. She constantly pokes fun at herself for not looking the age that she is.
Bio: As a young child, Sophia was watched by her stepfather while her mother was on call at work. It's not that he physically abused her but more like attention wise, she was never cared for. She was fed and given clothes by him but that was it. And she hardly had friends except for her dolls since she came from a wealthy family, and common folk were not allowed near her as her step father had put it, when he actually took the time to notice her. Then one day as she was outside in her garden she got the urge to fly and soon found herself as a small blue jay. Her mother had come home early as a suprise but didn't seem very shocked and explained to her daughter who had been nine at the time that her step father was not to know of this but "gifts" tended to run in their family.

Bio: When Avion was growing up she would noticed how the weather would change at will when she wished for it, but it wasnt always what she wanted. For years she tried to convince them and they still didnt belive her and she got angry more and more each day and then one day she couldnt control herself and created a storm that killed her whole family, leaving just her.

Personality: Yukai is a very hyper, bouncy, and bubbly young girl. She get's excited easily and is known to be annoying. The smallest intake of sugar can get her going off of the walls. Behind her tough, tom-boyish exterior, Yukai is very fragile and sensitive. She likes to think that since she's been through alot she can handle things, she also tries to get others to think that as well. Yukai has too much pride to let anyone help her or to see her while she isn't her normal self, which happens often now that she's away from her family.
Bio: Yukai discovered her ability one night during a family movie night. She had one too many cans of soda, which got her on a sugar high. She ran around around the house, out of the house, around the house's exterior, and even to another state in the blink of an eye. Her family didn't notice until she presented them with souvenirs. And now she finds herself walking the halls of the Academy, missing her family terribly and wishing with all of her might that she hadn't used her powers to sneak and extra four cans of soda.

He sent her to various boarding schools around the country, until she was sent here last year. Since she was seven years old she's had visions of dying, but unlike any of her other visions, these ones would change. Sometimes she was around 18, but others she was around 80. She just decided from the time she was 10 that she had to live her life to the fullest because she could die at any moment.

Personality: If he doesn't know you, then he tends to ignore you. He wont completely ignore you to the point where you don't exist it's just that you are there. However, once he does get to know you, he can be quite friendly, cheerful, and protective.
Bio: His current living relatives are his mother who had to do most of the work and do her best to pay for the bills. She was so busy with paying for bills she had little time to even care about Aiden's ability. His no good twenty-seven year old brother who decided it would be a good idea to quit his current good paying job, move out with his girlfriend to Vagas, and become a professional gambler. And his father who is currently in jail for commiting arson. Once Aiden's older brother moved out though, things started shaping up for him and his mother. Bills became easier and Aiden was able to get a part-time job helping the nearby pyrotechnic with testing out new powders and what effect they would have on certain other mixtures. However, one day he wasn't able to control his flame, he was too close to the powders and Boom! went the place. While the man who owned the place siad it was a wonderful show, he was sent here by the government to help the "normal people" not get hurt. When Aiden very well knows the exact wording of the town official was, "Keep that freak from cauing more damage."

Personality: Mina is quiet and somewhat shy to people she doesn’t know. She tends to daydream often- no surprise- and gets confused about what’s real and what’s not. The girl is slightly paranoid as well. :/
Bio: When she was 13, the girl accidentally revealed she had powers to a lot of people. A psychiatrist came to her and, since her powers were very difficult to control back then, thought she was insane because she couldn’t prove her oneirokinesis. The psychiatrist- with the agreement of Mina’s clueless mom- sent her to an institution when she realized that the child could be a danger to other students, because they thought she was crazy. The place wasn’t really an institution, it was an asylum. Run by a madman called Nathan Gnidobrof.

Ability/Gift: Saprokinesis, the odd and slightly creepy power of controlling all dead or dying matter- which includes fungus, anything in a graveyard and yes, corpses. He can also make things decay, even while they’re still alive. o.O
Personality: Seth is very outgoing and a bit of a troublemaker. The dude is always in for a good laugh and doesn’t have a problem putting people on the spot, but can be kind of obnoxious or clueless. He also has a sadistic side.
Bio: He was sent to Gnidobrof Institution when he was around 14 when civilians saw him lingering around graveyards at night raising the dead. Thinking he was insane, they allowed him to be sent there. Seth’s family was already pretty much defunct and once he escaped the institution/asylum he felt like he had nowhere else to go, until he stumbled upon this school…

Ability/Gift: Control/alter/manipulate shadows. He can become a shadow and hide in the ground; he can alter the shape of shadows. For example, he could turn someone's shadow into the shape of a blood-thirsty wolf if he wants. He can also teleport using the shadows.
Personality: He doesn't exactly like people...he's sort of a loner. He will speak only when spoken to. Not kind in the slightest. He is rude. He is not a people person. Don't cross him. Not often does he develop a soft spot for people, but it can happen.
Bio: When he was just ten years old, Maxwell Greene was taken from his home and used for a series of experiments. For nearly seven years, he was trapped in the institute, being used as a guinea pig. Thus was the birth of his strange abilities. After being released, his parents abandoned him, unable to take the changes the scientists had made in their son. His aunt and uncle took him in, and after several months, gave him to the school for the gifted. And here we are now...

Bio: Aisha was born in Amsterdam, her mother being a single parent who took her own life when she was just 8 months old. Her grandmother took her in and raised her, while the rest of her childhood itself remained vague as well as her reason to attend the academy.

Appearance:
Bio: Maggie lives with her mom on vacations and during summer. She visits her dad every winter break. Her parents split up because her mother never told her father that she had powers, and when little Maggie fell out of a tree, nearly traumatizing her little sister, she didn't have a scrape. It's been concluded that if her head is chopped off then she will die. Although she can heal she still feels pain, and prefers to avoid it. In eighth grade her boyfriend was killed by a villain. A few weeks after that she began daily attempts to kill herself, though she knows she can't do it. She emotionally distances herself from everyone, and doesn't even speak to her family most of the time.
Personality:She likes to pick fights with bigger kids, and is a bit of a show off when it comes to her powers. She's a bit sarcastic, and looks too innocent for her own good. Don't judge a book by it's cover, though. She's emotionally disturbed and not all there.

Ability/Gift: Hypnotic musical abilities (mostly through instruments)
Personality: The quieter twin, he is more likely to be off in a room practising whatever piece he is working on alone, rather than be in a large crowd with his brother. On the outside he shows an apathetic side towards his younger brother, but on the inside cares deeply for him and would not be afraid of beating the crap out of someone if they were to harm any of his siblings.
Bio: Grew up in a family of three sets of twins meant constant hecticness, especially when you younger sisters had the disability of one being blind and the other deaf. And while the two girls didn't seem to mind it, Simon always wanted them to be happy and safe so he would spend time playing music for them while one sang and the other danced.

When the sister twins decided it would be best to go to the middle school, Simon decided that it would be a good idea to join his younger brother in attending the high school.

Other: Has two younger sisters in the middle school, and a set of older fraternal twins who are out of college and living lives of their own. In regards to his ability, Simon wears the bells so that he can play freely without fully hypnotizing anyone.

Personality: Outgoing and generally cheerful, Eric is on a lot of the sports teams and is extremely fit and normally dosn't realize that speaking his mind all the time can lead to problems. When it comes to his brother, Eric is confused by his twin's outwards uncaring, as he can not remember what it might have been that upset his brother so much.
Bio: The exact same family wise as Simon, however normally when Eric was home, it was only for hollidays and occasional weekdays. When Eric was younger and he first discovered his power, he did everything possible to train, as to try and fix his little sisters and their...disabilites. But no matter what he tried, he could never even get close to fixing his little sister's problems, even though the two of them would always smile and say that it didn't matter, they were happy and fine the way they were.

So Eric would continue to smile and act happy around his sisters even though deep down he always felt like maybe if he could do something better, he could help them.

Ability/Gift: Xavier can manipulate the earth around him. He can levitate rocks, create wind, spark fire, move water. Mostly, however, he focuses on rock and fire. He uses his powers sparingly, though; only when called for.
Personality: A man of few words. He's serious. He isn't joking, but he has a dry sense of humor. He's not very judgmental, but he's very expectant. Often he expects too much of people. He is very competitive, and brings out others' most competitive sides. Every now and then, his language is littered with explatives, but not often. He's not a very caring person - even if you warm up to him. People don't 'exist' in his mind unless you make yourself exist. He is very cold towards other people. He has an air of 'I'm cooler than you and I know it,' but he doesn't flaunt it. However he enjoys causing passing girls grief.
Bio: He grew up in a rich neighborhood, his parents successful in work. His mother is an editor and his father directs movies. He isn't as cold or rude as he is simply because he's rich - it's just how he was raised. His parents weren't very attentive to him, and by the time he was ten he knew how to take care of himself.
