Why Donate?

Yeah yeah, nobody wants to waste their hard earned gold, we get it.
Well, there are benefits to donating...

I have been considering, doing something once we get more members, and by more members I mean a decent sized guild... 50-100 + members.

Once a month or so, I may hold a contest, on whatever I choose to hold it on, or another member might hold it, doesn't matter.

The contest may be whoever posts the most gets something, whoever donates the most, etc. Of course, the items are going to be worth something, not just a cheap item from a store, but a rare, off the marketplace, or one we already own.

Also, donating to the guild brings up your respect of course.
In my eyes, it shows commitment, I am committed to the guild, and I hope others will be at times.
Guild donations go towards fun things the guild can do together, such as events as I mentioned before, like the contests, or something else I may think up.

The donations also go towards sub-forums, and other things as well!

Donations are important because:

- I can't pay for everything!
- It's a kind thing to do.
- It shows commitment, as I stated earlier
- Gold is important for a guild, and it leads to fun things.

I just got an idea for an event, where the top donors will get their names put in to a hat, or something alike, and one will get their name pulled out, and maybe win an amount of gold from the donations!

None of that is official, but it is an idea!

It is important that if you DO decide to donate to the guild, and want to be recognized for it, and have a chance at winning some nice stuff, you post the amount you donated here, and be honest about it!
