 A cool, sunny summer day it had turned out to be.
It was days like this that the green omega was happy about--it was warm but not sweltering. Pleasantly cool but not cold. And on a day like today, she had been attracted to the lakeside once more.
Maizey dipped her muzzle into the water, gaining a nice drink of water in return. She giggled lightly at her reflection as she lifted her head, wiping her dripping muzzle off on her shoulder. Her tail flicked across the water as she examined her own fluffy, green fur while the smooth reflective surface was available.

 Pandora was once again, hiding under a pine tree that grew by the lake. She really didn't go places often, afraid of being eaten, or meeting mean helixes. She heard approaching paw steps and sat still, watching quietly as the helix passed by her tree. She recognized this helix at once, she had seen her before. Her tail, or rather, lack there of, wiggled back and forth happily.
Pandora waited, watching for a moment as Maizey drank from the lake before she pushed her head out between the branches and let out a happy bark. "Maizey!" Her rump was now wiggling along with her tail, making the branches shake. She was rarely happy about seing other helixes but Maizey had been nice to her.

Maizey stopped for a moment, her ears perking as she heard her name being called. She turned towards the sound of the voice, seeing that familiar little helix through the branches.
The green omega turned and smiled, stepping closer to her. "Hello Pandora." Her tail swished lightly, happy to see the little pup. "How're you..?"

Pandora grinned at being discovered and actually met Maizey half way to her tree. "You havent been here for a while. I was hoping to see you again, since I dont have many friends." Her rump was wiggling again as she sat down infront of Maizey, looking up at her as she did so.
"Oh, Im alright. I've been hiding under my tree. So I don't get eaten." She looked shiftily arround her asthough a helix would come bounding out at her.

Maizey smiled back, happy to see her walk up and greet her. She stopped, sitting back lightly. Her ears perked slightly, a quizzical from playing on her features. "I can't imagine why--your such a sweet girl." She giggled lightly as she watched the little pup's rump wiggle. She was excited, wasn't she?
However, at the mentioning of being eaten, Maizey perked her head about, to see if there was any near danger. However, she turned back to Pandora, smiling. "I think it's safe for now."

Pandora looked arround once more, some could say she was a bit paranoid. "Oh I hope so. Being eaten scares me and gives me bad dreams." Her small rounded ears went back before perking right back up.
"Your my friend and so you wont let any one eat me...," She gave the adult helix a side long look, making sure she was listening before adding, "right?"

Maizey frowned lightly, as her ears flicked back. A pup shouldn't have to worry about being eaten, especially to the point where she was having nightmares. She ought to be frolicking and having fun.
Her ears perked up, as she was brought out of her maternal thoughts. "Of course I am." She gave a light, friendly smile. "I wont let anyone eat you."

"Oh I know you won't let any one eat me. You're my friend." Pandora smiled softly up at the adult helix and at this moment she wished she wasn't so afraid of everyone. It was difficult though to get over something as traumatizing as being chased from your mothers side with the threatening growls from the alpha behind you, swatting at you untill you were too far away to find your way back. She let out a depressing whine at her thoughts. She usually didn't think of that....

Maizey let out a smile at Pandora's words. Though, the pup's smile seem to make her brighter in turn. Her ears perked up, hearing a soft whine. It made her heart melt, and her instincts immediately kicked in. The green helix lowered her head slightly, gazing at Pandora. "What's on your mind..?"
