What is the best scent in the world?
The best poet?

& How have you been?

( I have been reading too much, and writing less..
I promise to start writing again,
tonight, when I curl up in bed. )

Best scent: honeysuckles, gardenias, red roses, and cologne/body heat.

Best poet: Emily Dickinson.

I am actually rather well! Surprisingly. Tho I worry that summer is ending...

Scent: Chai, Roses, fresh pie. (And usually whoever I'm in love with, but that doesn't really count.)

Poet: I honestly like too many to pick a favourite (I'm sorry I'm copping out! gonk ) Although, Shakespeare, Tennyson, and Frost do pop out at me.

How am I? Good, alternately supremely self-confident and comfortable with everything as is, or completely and utterly confused by things, by which I mean girls. sweatdrop

Well then on behalf of my gender I apologize. Not all of us are testosterone laden idiots with "the emotional range of a teaspoon" (did I get that right Kirby? heart )

Alas I cannot be mad at girls...I don't like guys already, so I'd be lonely if I swore off girls too.

How I love Hermione heart

Yeah you'd suck as a gay guy. I still like guys...I just don't trust them. So meh.

Best scent: Oil paints, gasoline, fresh hot coffee

John Donne, maybe, or Robert Browning for poet. I also like people who write songs.

I'm good, I just... don't want to have to go back to school. I get mildly sick when I think about it. I'm newly back from New York, and down five pounds. Life is AWESOME! heart

I love men. I can't seem to get along with most girls.

@Kirby: No I don't think I would either, but there seem to be many who disagree with that opinion. Case in point, the costume designer for 12th Night, named Renee, was hitting on me when I had my hair down for the show. Pretty sure anyhow.

@Voxxx: Yay! Voxxxy's back!

Funny, on the subject of school - I found out that at long last I am at the top of the wait list for this September, and there is a very good chance I'll actually get in! *does happy dance*

I am sorry to you all, for I have lied.

I did not scribble thoughts as I laid down in my bed.
Instead, I read other's words and finished the most lovely of books.

I recommend it to you all. "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society."

mrgreen best scent? I love the smell of fresh strawberries and peaches. Anything with a light summery smell, I love. For I HATE winter. And vanilla I love. Makes me think of ice cream.

mrgreen Best poet? I dunno. Does Robert Munsch (spel?) count? Or Wordsworth...I don't know. I don't read a lot of poetry. DEFINATELY not Margret Atwood, that's for sure. She's just so...gloomy.

mrgreen how've I been? Okay, I guess. Just had my parent's 25th anniversary party and the whole family came. GONG SHOW. Which is why I haven't been on in a while. I'm kinda worried about the forest fires in British Columbia, for my relatives live there. Keep having firey nitemares at night....Haven't been writing much, and kicking myself for doing so. I'll get something done this summer eventually.

I love anwsering questions. 3nodding

Although I myself live on Vancouver Island, and not the mainland of BC, I can say that the fires are being kept fairly well under control and at least some of the evacuations are being rescinded.

Hope that helps!

On a related note, there was a pretty amazing story of a guy whose job it is to maintain the water treatment of the watershed threatened by the fire. He drove back into the fire along with some firefighters in order to make sure that the tanks containing the Chlorine used for treatment didn't rupture. He also set up sprinklers and other measures to make sure that the resulting gas, should a tank go, would not make it downhill (as chlorine wants to do) to affect the residential areas below. It was only after he made sure it was safe did he leave the threatened area. Pretty amazing.
