Yesterday I picked up five toys from the movie. For individuals and on vehicle.
The vehicle was the Night Raven and I think it's rather cool. At first I thought it was a re-release of the oringial Night Raven, but it's not. It's a new mold but it still has the feature that I remember most, the drop down cockpit. I don't know why but I remember that part of the comercial for it the best. The Air Viper that comes with it has legs that are a little loose but I'm still happy I got it.

I picked up the Night raven as well since I'm not going to be able to afford an original anytime soon. I also go Snakeyes, Storm Shadow (w/ and w/o mask), Shipwreck (makes for a good modern version of him), Cover Girl, Baroness, and Scarlet version 2. Looking out for Helix and the Pit Commando. Anyways, did anyone else see the upcoming Target Exclusives?

The four singles I picked up were Shipwreck, his girlfriend before the reboot, the Viper Comando, and the Ninth Doctor. Break my code if you dare.
I refuse to get any Storm Shadow's or Snake-Eye from the movie line. I have too many of them from the regular and they aren't too original. I am half temped to get Snake Fries...only half.
Lately Target has been getting the nicer exclusive, I would love to get my hands on the Serpant Armor.

Sorry to hear you got deployed again. I don't think I'll ever visit Iraq again, but I'll be going to Afganastan one more time before I hit higher ten year.
As for the figures, I'd suggest only getting the ones you like. Cause they're movie toys they will be lots of varients of the same guy. There are already two Duke, Snake-eyes, Scarletts, and Storm Shadows.

I got Firefly. I'm surprised he came with a vehicle. It's an interesting vehicle that looks like a helcopter without the blade.

Got a couple of Pit Commando figures. I just loved the accessories he comes with. I used some of the left over weapons to beef-up a few of my grunts.

Well, this might not be about the toys, but I picked up the Storm Shadow cup from 7-11. It was really the only one I sort of wanted, and I wanted to try out the Slurpee flavor. It is sour, I should have stuck with cherry. sweatdrop

Gonna give in and see the movie on Saturday. My sister wants to see it and I am a sucker for GI Joe. stare

That's why I was hesitant to answer your question. Under the get up he's just your avarage Firefly, the helmet and vest are removable.

Just saw the midnight showing last night. It's actually not that bad. I'm still not too crazy about the Accelerator Suits.

Well, I suppose I probably could use another Firefly to battle my numerous Beachheads... >_>
I saw the movie today. I thought the final action scene was uninteresting and too mashed-up to be exciting. I also thought that maybe they should hire a better computer effects team and some new writers that were actually good. Flashbacks were TOO MUCH. I am willing to accept some of the more ridiculous story bits though, because it is GI Joe, so it was okay in that. I thought that some of the more fantasy costume designs where horrible, and Snake-Eyes reminds me of a Power Ranger. I also really hated the actor who plays Duke. Even in character he looks like the kind of guy who has the personality of a tool.
I am critical of movies!
I will be happy if they leave Beachhead, Tunnel Rat, and Firefly out of the next movie, although they'll probably put Firefly in it.
