I do have a view challenges and questions for you guys. My first challenge/ questions is why would the variety of tongues(languages) be considered a gift as started in one of the articles of faith? I believe it was the fourth.

I consider it a huge barrier to not be able to speak to other people in order to get our thoughts across. Think what would happen if all the missionaries that went to foreign speaking areas couldn't possibly learn the language in the little amount of time they're given before being put out in the field...
