Kazuma's hellish dungeon, 天への血の道. Literally meaning The Bloody Path to Heaven. There is nothing in this dungeon that would give off a pleasant feeling. Inside this dungeon is a mix of a maze, a prison station, and a psychotic butcher shop. Throughout the maze there are prison cells, traces of blood covers the bars and walls inside the cell while the toilets overflows with blood as it the red liquid leaks onto the floor traveling out side the Cells making all the floors cover with it. Skinned bodies are hanged upside down by hook and chain that are connected to the ceiling, these bodies begin to scream out in pain trying to break free, apologzing, pleading for death but it will never come, Maya type shadows that would appear in the dungeon shall come through the mouths of the skinned bodies by force they can transmogrify themselves into other shadows or just stay in their maya forms. A door with a golden cross on it will be blocking the path to the last section of the dungeon, in order to get pass this door will be three questions that will be asked by the shadow. In the last section of the maze takes another form than the others. The last section appears to be the inside room of a church, Near the walls are multiple crosses with crucified corspes attached to them while the one in the front is a statue of Jesus being crucified, this is where his shadow will be waiting.

Levels: 1-4
Shadows: Maya type, knight type, Turret type, and wheel type

Top Floor - Bloody Path to Heaven
Kazuma woked up in a daze, last thing he new he was just leaving the festival. And now he was placed here, the last section of the dungeon, but he didn't know that. Kazuma looked around the area he was in still dizzy, it was a freaky version of a church, he saw corpses cruified on the crosses on the walls. The strong smell coming off of the corpses made Kazuma's gag reflexes going crazy, he tried to maintain himself but this was just to much. Looking over he saw at the front of the church the holy figured crucified as well. Kazuma didn't under stand it all, why was he in such a place? It was all confusing, he wanted to leaave and get back home before Minori worried about him. He saw a figure walking up towards him, Kazuma was about to walk up to ask him where he was until he ran and slightly leaped towards Kazuma kneeing him in the face. The shock of the attack made him go backwards with blood coming down to his nose.
The figure felt pleasure at what he just did, the confusing look on Kazuma's face was priceless, but he did not smile at all. He was in no mood to. While Kazuma wqas still confuse at what was going on, the figure walked towards him showing that he looked exactly like kazuma. He looked a thim with an emotionaless stare before saying "Welcome," before giving Kazuma a powered round house kick to the head
For a moment Kazuma was going to give this guy a piece of his mind, with a kick to the neck, but he did nothing as he saw what the figured was. He was himself, or atleast something that looked like himself. He couldn't believe it, he figured that it was a clone, but Kazuma also thought you had to be a narutard ninja to make a clone. Still he was quite shock to see that the person that attacked him looked like him, before he could say anything else Kazuma was kicked in the head sending him flying a bit towards the right side of the ground. Hitting the ground hard he quickly got back up to his feet wiping off the blood on his mouth. Now he was pissed, getting into a muay thai stance Kazuma rushed into a fight, with his look alike. He rushed in with a punch but the look alike gracefully dodged, next was a punch to the mid section which the look alike placed both arms downwards blocking it, but then Kazuma placed more power into his fist driving it upwards manging to break the Kazuma look alike's guard and punch him in the chin in a uppercut form.
This "fake" Kazuma stumbled backwards rubbing his chin. "Thats all I expected better coming from trash like you. I guess you're still patethic as everyone said you were." he said going back in for an attack. The "Fake" Kazuma grabbed the Face of the "real" Kazuma and slammed him to the ground. "Fake" Kazuma got on top of the "Real" Kazuma and began punching away at his face. "Come on fight back." he said as he contiued to bruise and bloodied the face of Kazuma with his punches

Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader

At first look, the Bloody Path to Heaven was about as off-putting as any shadow world that Soji could remember, though for entirely different reasons than some of the others he had seen. Mitsuo Kubo's game world was creepy in the way that it revealed the boy's own carelessness...the way his desperation for attention bent his mind into believing life and death to be little more than a game. And Magatsu Inaba had been strange because it was just so evil, twisted, and laden with the power of the Fool that Adachi had held within him. Then there was the sheer, ominous air about the dungeon that Izanami had created...and it was only with some sense of wonder that he remembered they had managed to push through the oppressive air there and conquer it in only a day, as they intended to do here. But the first thing he would have to do was get used to the sights...the smells...and the sounds, of one of...well, the least aesthetically pleasing dungeon he had ever laid eyes on. Blood seemed to coat everything in this place, and it reeked of death. The sounds of screaming could be heard from within, and had it not been for the emptiness of their wails, the way they drifted into the background of his audible range, he might have thought they were Kazuma. Instead, he knew they were just a wretched side-effect of the twisted dungeon they were entering.

Standing at the doorway, he spared only a thought for the others and hoped that they had made it to their own dungeon safe, and that it was far less disgusting than this one. Minori didn't seem the type to hide something like this inside of her...but then, you never really knew what somebody kept locked away in their heart. "We're going in," he told the three accompanying him, not needing to waste time choosing a party or telling them to prepare. Kanji was already ready to kick some a** when it came to the TV World, and Naoto was one of the most well-prepared people that he knew. And with Teddie filling support as well as a fighting role, Soji was sure that his focus would probably be at his peak...he just hoped that the little bear could stomach the grotesque images all around them. "Don't think about the other team while you're in here, and don't think about the scenery..." he warned them solemnly, pushing the door open to the first floor and taking the first step inside, "no matter what happens, we have to do this job and save Kazuma. Because...we're the only ones who can."

As they entered the dungeon the skinned bodies began to hear the foot step walking through the bloodied floor. They wiggled around anxiously and full of hope. Their fleshless slips formed a gruesome smile, showing their bloodied teeth. One of them began to shout out, "You there, you cae here to help us! Yes finally please help us!" they all struggled about trying to get the tetam to come and help, though it was damn near impossible to do so. They were bound by chains that reached up to the ceiling and was hanged down to the ground by their feet. They yelled out to them, "Help me!" "Set me free!" "I don't wanna be here." "Kill me!" "Please" they all wanted to be free by any means which includes death but it shall never be granted to them. One of the skinned bodies started to choke on his words before yellling. "Oh no not again...no no noo..." before the skinned person could say anything else a dark hand shot out of his mouth covered in saliva. The body was choking fataly as the hand came out aswell as a blob of black stuff. This didn't just happened to this person, thousands of others started to have the same problems as black blobs were coming out of their mouths. These were the maya type shadows, all started to show hands and masks. Some Maya types transformed themselves into Knight, Turret, and wheel types. All these shadows began to rush in and attack Soji and his group

Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader

The grotesque scene didn't get any prettier on the inside of the dungeon, with the sickeningly-hung bodies crying out for salvation that they couldn't offer and the toilets overflowing with blood, soaking the floor of the corridors. The Leader wondered suddenly if bringing Teddie to this dungeon was such a good idea, but hoped that he would be able to tell the difference between what was real and what was fake. If nothing else, maybe Leon had fed him a meager diet of horror flicks and it would have built up his stomach...but he couldn't be sure. Nonetheless, Soji did his best to ignore the writhing, suffering things as he made his way about a quarter of the way down the hall...until the cries of the bodies suddenly grew wild, muffled, and eventually ceased with the advent of the shadows from within their mouths. Idly, the Senior wondered just what Kazuma must have been hiding inside of him for a dungeon like this to come out of his mind, but then, he remembered that this didn't necessarily reflect his exact desires, either. More important than those musings, however, were the Maya, the Knights, the Turrets, and the Wheels that were quickly closing in on them. Looked like this dungeon wasn't going to be as peaceful as the last...

"First floor, conserve your magic," he ordered the rest of the team, summoning his card before him and then crushing inside of his palm. Just because he had ordered them to conserve their magic didn't mean that he had to, after all. And he had just the spell for a varied horde of monsters coming at them all at once. "Izanagi-no-Okami! Megidolaon!" He barked out the name of the spell wildly, but with the precision of a surgeon. A massive wave of non-elemental energy spread out across the dungeon corridor and slammed into each of the shadows with deadly force, at the very least driving them back away from the group and at the best, dissolving a large portion of them. Megidolaon was a heavy-hitter spell, and this was just the first floor...but thankfully, he wouldn't have to concern himself with the magic that he had spent just now once they finished this fight. Above him, the gangster-looking Persona he had called forward twirled its red staff and followed above him, dissipating from sight but not from his mind, ready for his next summon. "Get to the door, fast," he commanded the team, hurriedly shuffling through the corridor as the shadows were driven back, "don't worry about what's behind you. Just clear a path and keep moving."

Kanji raced after Souji following behind him as he looked around running with Souji trying to ensure that he did not get left behind, and he would soon get ready to fight, he was definitely getting tired of having to free some kid every single day...

"Well, looks like I have some intruders. you worthless pieces of flesh, how dare you come here" Roared a voice echoing through out the room of the dungeon, with his voice the skinned bodies grew silent and fear for their lives. "Why have you come here, Are you fools? or perhaps people who have come to realize the true meaning of their worthless lives and wants to be saved from it. Very well I will give you that honor, but I must test to see if you deserve it." he said darkly as the door to the next room was shown all away across the dungeon. The skinned bodies started to gag harshly as Kinght type shadows began to come out of their mouths. The Door was now blocked by three sets oof fifteen knight soldiers. "You'll have to get by then, don't keep us waiting." he said hinting that Kazuma was with him. The first set of knights pointed their lances at Kanji, Soji, and teddie. The legless horses that they were riding began to charge at them.

Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader

Just when Soji began to think that they might make it through the first level without taking too much damage, the path that he had cleared became blocked again by a gaggle of grim knight shadows. Listening the mocking voice on the air promising him death didn't really comfort him at all, but then, it didn't particularly bother him, either. Lots of shadows and people had promised them defeat since their quests began, and this one wasn't any different. Hell, it might have even been comforting to have a straightforward shadow like this, compared to the one they had dealt with in Rednal's domain, in a weird, twisted sort of way. Well, if they just had to get through the mass of shadows in order to reach the door, at least they knew what they had to do. Summoning his card into his hand, he glanced over his shoulder once just before the knights made their move. "Stay tight and follow me. Kanji, Naoto, follow up my spells with physical strikes. This type's not weak to attacks, but after a a Megidolaon they'll be ready to finish," he commanded, motioning for the group to follow in his footsteps as he lead their charge through the shadows. Getting separated and cornered by a group of these powerful enemies would result in bad things, and he wasn't about to take that risk right now. They'd have to stay together, move quickly, and be efficient with their tactics in order to eliminate the enemies and move on. The challenge was just beginning.

"Just don't be too slow," he reminded them, turning his clouded eyes back to the group charging them, "because if you are, I'm going to be a sitting duck." With that thought lingering, he crushed the card in his hand and summoned forth his Ultimate Persona again, a wave of non-elemental energy smashing into the first group of knights and sending them scattering. They weren't dead, but they were probably critical...not that it was enough to keep them from doing massive damage if they landed a blow. The Senior pushed forward into the path where the knights were knocked aside and parried a strike sent his way by the first one to recover. A second missed him by inches, and a third caught the sleeve of his jacket and ripped a clean cut through the black cloth. Essentially, Soji had made himself the target of all the shadows' rage, but he had cleared the way and distracted them enough that the others could finish them when they followed, without wasting their magic. All right, so maybe it was a slightly risky plan? But the only one who was really getting tossed into the fire on this one was himself...and above everyone else, he was willing to risk his own life first for any given mission.

A Vicious Strike from a fourth knight caught him in the arm, sending him sliding across the bloody floor until he regained his footing, raising his weapon against to defend himself. The others needed to finish them off now...meanwhile, he ignored a low throb in his arm and began to stalk forward quickly towards the second set of fifteen knights that were waiting on him by the door. "Izanagi-no-Okami!"

Kanji smirked as he watched souji work, he crushed his won persona card as his massive persona appeared and kanji began to chase after Souji as his persona rushed through the knights smashing wildly as it finished off the massive things and continued to wokr finishing Souji's work as he awaited the man to continue with the last set, the majority of the knights already finished as naoto had to only kill maybe a few that were to weak to return to their feet, kanji was slightly conerned when he saw Souji get hit, but watching him stand up he nodded in approval as he knew souji was a true man and could take such a hit with ease, he chased after him, ready for the next round of attacks...

"Hmm, interesting." said the echoing voice. The remaining knights charged towards them attacking, and swingly their lances wildly at Soji and his group. The skinned bodies began to cry out in pain as Maya type shadows came out through their mouths. They did not transform however they merely stayed in there form and rush in and attacked Kanji from behind. The Maya shadows jumped onto Kanjis back pne at a time hoping to pin him down to the ground. The bodies cried out to them, "Aren't you going to help us." "What kind of heroes are you?" "You're not heroes! If you were then you would free us." "Its hopeless, you'll just become like us." They kept shouting at the investigative team while struggling violently in pain, they told them that they were just as meaningless as they were, these were but petty mind games. They repeatedly voice to just end their lives but all that was heard was a crude and un-pleaseant chuckle. "Hurry You'real most there." said the voice as the door leading into the next area began to open slowly. Unknowingly to the group a field of turret Type Shadows awaited on the other side preparing to fire once they mangaed to get through

Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader

He didn't have to look back to know that Kanji was taking care of his part of the plan, as the thin hiss of the dissolving shadows was enough to tell him that things were going relatively well behind him. Each dull thud of Rokuten-Maou's attacks sounded through the corridor with a thunderous crash, and in the dead periods with less sound he could hear their footsteps slapping wetly in the blood just behind him. His magic was being depleted quickly, but it didn't quite matter yet. If he could make it to the 2nd floor it would be restored, and he would be able to last a bit longer at the breakneck pace he was keeping currently. First, though, he was going to have to rid the team of the last couple of monsters that were in their way...the Knights. "Megidolaon!" he released the attack at the bunched up duo of fifteen Knights, using the corridor's narrowness to his advantage. They were close enough together for the wide-range attack to hit them all, draining most of the health of the monsters even as they charged him. Soji drew his sword as the first missed a Tempest Slash aimed at him, and finished the thing off with his own hands. He wasn't quite as lucky with the second one, though, as it knocked him back just in front of Kanji with a heavy blow. "Damn it," he muttered, glancing over his shoulder to see Kanji pinned to the ground. He was about to turn and send a spell to help him, when he noticed his other teammates picking up the slack and knocking the Maya off of Kanji. Smirking confidently, he returned his attention to the Knights.

"Enough of you," he whispered under his breath, crushing the card in the palm of his hand and spending another heaping helping of magic, "Izanagi-no-Okami, Megidolaon!" The non-elemental magic crashed into the Knights and finished them off quickly, bringing a relieved sigh to the lips of the silverette. Turning and motioning for the others to follow him, he kept a short distance ahead of them as they tread through the blood, blocking out the screams of the bodies, and came to the open doors...where a series of turret-type shadows were waiting for them. Eyes widening, it was only by his Angelic Grace that he was able to avoid the potentially fatal volley of attacks, though even missing the direct hit he was rocked back into the crew by the splash damage. Gritting his teeth, he stood and resisted the urge to wince, looking at Kanji behind him. "Turrets are weak to either lightning or ice," he recalled from previous encounters, the tank-like shadows having been encountered in other dungeons before. They were deadly strong, but they always had a weakness...one that their group had covered. "Kanji, Teddie...use Maziodyne and Mabufudyne, now...and let's move on!" he ordered, rushing forward with his sword in one hand and his card in the other. If their attacks struck home, they would clear the road of the turrets and move on to the 2nd Floor.

The voice still taunted them, but Soji wasn't worried about that, yet. They'd make it to the top of this place and find Kazuma...whatever the cost.

Kanji watched as Souji was knocked around, he heard him say to use an attack after he stood from being pinned down, he called out " Maziodyne!!!" he said as he crushed his persona card and his large persona came forth sending a massive lightning attack towards the tank-like shadows, they would probably be destroyed as he watched it connect, and then watched as teddie cast his own attack, doing massive ice damage as Kanji smiled and walked to Souji's side " You alright? Lets get going to the next stage..." he said calmly as he prepared to carry Souji to the next room after watching suffer a good amount of damage from the various attacks...

Soji Seta, Investigation Team Leader

Reaching the bottom of the stairs, Soji was relieved to see that the combination attack of Kanji and Teddie had been enough to take down the set of Turrets, clearing the route to the second floor for the team. That had probably been one of the more difficult first floors that they had been through in some time, and he had taken a fair amount of damage from the combined assaults of the Knights and the Turrets. Still, he was all right, and turning back to face Kanji and the team as they caught up with him, he gave them a confident half-smile to let them know that he was all right. Of course, with his bruises, the blood caking his clothes, and the rips in the cloth, he didn't particularly look all right, but he remembered something about his ultimate Persona that they probably hadn't seen [or at least, had forgotten] by now. Moments after the battle died down, a brilliant light shone around the team Leader, the bruises fading a bit and his body looking more refreshed than it had been after the round of damage he had suffered. In the furthest reaches of his mind, he could hear a feral roar coming from Izanagi-no-Okami, a resounding Victory Cry that replenished his health and his energy. Rolling his shoulder as he turned back to the stairs, he put his foot onto the first one and began to the next level of the area, motioning for the rest of the team to follow him. And in no time, they had managed to reach the second floor, only a few from their destination...

"I'm all right, Kanji...but this place is dangerous," the leader muttered quietly, and though what he said probably seemed obvious, they would likely know that he was referring to the dungeon in comparison with some of the others they had entered. Even if this was just a quick, deadly grind...it left no room for error, and that was what made it particularly difficult. "Stay in formation and follow me," Soji ordered as he began into the Second Level of the Bloody Path to Heaven, "I'm going to need more support on this one...be ready for even worse than the last floor, everyone."

Clapping noise could be heard throughout this section, follow by a dark chuckle. "Interesting, you humans are certainly interesting. You're almost there." said the voice as turrets type shadows proceed to come out of the skinned bodies mouth and surrounded the team, They took their aim and was about to fire. "I should warn you however, that you should hurry before I get ready to relinquish this boy of his worhtless existence. Well, he is better off dead anyways. So here is the thing." he said as the turred began to blast them with their cannons as the voice continued speaking. "You have about 20 minutes to get here before it will all be over." he said to them before silencing himself as the turrents contiued to fire.

"No time to waste, then," the silver-haired Senior quipped as the voice gave them a countdown, the seconds now ticking away until they would be unable to pull their target from the dungeon unharmed. Watching with wide, clouded eyes as the turrets surrounded them, he looked back at Kanji and Teddie and gave them an affirmative nod. "Same combo as before...don't give them a chance to breathe," Soji told them, provoking them into the same Maziodyne/Mabufudyne combination that they had used to take out the turrets moments earlier. There were too many to eliminate all at once, but with a wicked combination like that striking at their weaknesses, the turrets would be rendered mostly incapacitated by the attacks. And besides...those two weren't the only ones who could use lightning and ice when they needed to. "Izanagi-no-Okami!" he summoned his persona suddenly, making a forward dash towards the turret directly in the path between them and what was likely the exit from the level. Shadows didn't all need to be destroyed to get to the end, and they didn't all have to be wiped out in order to save Kazuma. In fact, it was better if they didn't fight them all, at all. But doing battle with a fair portion of them was necessary, and it was probable that they hadn't been expecting him to make a direct attack at the line. If nothing else, it would draw their fire towards him long enough for the duo behind him to get off their attacks.

"Ziodyne!" the Senior cried, letting a shocking blast of lightning crush down from above the targeted turret, rendering it a pile of bubbling goo. His victory was short-lived as a pair of tank shells blasted into the area just behind him, sending him into a forwards roll through the blood-soaked floor and back onto his feet. The crimson liquid dripped from his sword and his clothes, some of it covering his face and neck and making it impossible to tell if he was bleeding from the head or if he had just been coated by the floor itself. Nonetheless, he looked like a ravenous beast when he grit his teeth and turned towards the turrets on either side of him that tried to close down the path he was opening, bringing his card into his hand again. "Megidolaon!" he cried, letting the massive non-elemental spell smash the two turrets and keep them at bay long enough for Kanji, Naoto, and Teddie to follow him down the corridor he had opened after they cast their own spells. Enough of the turrets should be thinned out for them to move again after their spells, but they'd have to endure a little cannonfire to reach him...and there was nothing he could do about that but trust in them to endure the damage and make it to him. "Come on!"
