It was late afternoon. The day was muggy and hot, but somehow the sun couldn't be found. It was overcast, but the clouds were spread thin to where you couldn't tell.

Didn't matter much to Elune. She isn't accustomed to being out and about when the sun is up. However, today she had woke early with an enticing scent filling her nose. A local orchard of apples had freshly bloomed, and it invited her to come see! Slipping silently out of the forests edge, she found her way to the apple trees. There, the first apple she laid eyes on, happened to be round and ripe, and positively perfect in every way. Humming and giggling at the same time, she lifted up on her hind legs and plucked the apple gingerly with her teeth, by the stem.

Setting it down on the ground, she gave it a smile then gripped it by the stem again, with her lips pressed against it's top.

Her feet began to skip and dance, as she bounced back to forest. Her head bobbed up and down with the bright red fruit in her mouth. As she arrived back in the forest, she kicked up her front legs and pranced about some more, still humming all the while.

It was almost as if she was playing with the apple in the most graceful way possible.

The sound of cracking branches and crackling leaves filled Tokidoki's ears. He had only been wondering the forest for a short time now. Leaving his trail. Flying all morning, he thought it might be a good time to rest, take a break. And what better way, then getting some exercise you can't get while flying? Toki had to keep in shape for the ladies, right? However, I'm sure that was the last thing on his mind. He was just wondering. Letting his thoughts take over him. Thankfully, no bad thoughts. But, you could tell he was in quite the chipper mood.. How, you ask?

Simple! He could be heard. Not singing this time, but humming. Humming a [ song ] closed to him (Only 'cause I lurv it so much! :'D). He hummed it softly letting it echo throughout the forest. Any sort of musical tune that came out of his mouth seemed to echo for miles. It didn't matter where he was, it would just echo without end. The song itself reminded him of someone. He didn't know why it would remind him of this certain Soq.. Maybe it was because her singing brought him to her. Or maybe for reasons his mind wouldn't let him know.

He had only met this Soq, not to long ago. Suppose that was why she came to mind. Or possibly the song seemed as elegant as she lead on. It could've been for any reason really. She was definitely one of the more unique Soq he had ever met. One he would never forget.. Suppose that was why she came to mind. She just wasn't forgetful, and thus, she was on his mind. But it didn't quite matter to him. He just let the song echo throughout the forest. As he enjoyed the song when it reached his ear again. Then letting out random bursts of lyrics. Though he was mostly humming this late evening.. He couldn't help but sing aloud sometimes.

"Sing like you think no ones listening.
You would kill for this just a little bit..
Just a little bit..
You would, you would..
"
He sang, shortly humming again.

As she pranced around with her red apple, the air changed. Dropping down to her front feet, she stepped into the wind carefully. Closing her eyes, she heard a melody with and uncannily familiar tone. Her ears twitched and curved, to cradle the sound. But how? Who rather.. She held silently still, motionless, almost breathless as she continued to listen. When she didn't quite have the answer, she began to draw closer into the forest.

Stepping with light speed across the underbrush and roots of this living land, weaving around the tall giants, the sound became louder. She had effortlessly followed what her ears were hearing.

Slowing her pace, she pressed tightly behind a tree. She dared not peer around it, not knowing what the sound was for sure yet. Her ears homed in on the sound with precision as words crashed into the song with perfect lyrical reverberation. The series of notes seemed to echo around the forest with a most resounding and pleasantly warm bell.

She couldn't tell you why, but her breath increased, her heart began to pound. Perhaps it was her already energetic mood, or perhaps, she was excited to be hearing what she thought. The rich voice had to be him. Closing her eyes, she dared to listen for a few moments more.

Drawing in a deep breath, she finally emerged out from behind the tree, almost as if she was appearing from out of it's grasp. She didn't fumble in her movement as she side stepped the tree, peering into the forest wide wide and eager eyes. She was hoping to see a stallion with tones as red as the apple she still had pressed to her lips. Tokidoki.

He continued to hum, with little bouts of lyrics. He didn't seem to be paying much attention to his surroundings. Just to what he was doing, saying, the music he was making. It was such a lovely song, one he couldn't get distracted from for long. He had a very light and playful step to him. Even though the weather wasn't much to his liking, it didn't matter. 'Cause he had this song to keep him at ease. With also the lively thoughts spinning in his mind.

But that all changed in a single moment! Luckily, not in any sort of bad way. A sudden silence seem to creep over the forest. His echos had reached their end, as he was brought back. A Soq suddenly emerged out of what seemed to be the forest itself. So caught up in his song, he didn't expect such a thing.. Though, he should've with all the other Soq that seem to fly his way while singing. It took him a moment to collect himself from the sudden appearance. And only a moment later to realize, it was the same Soq he had just been thinking about moments before. This had to be one of those crazy psychic things his two-legger talked about. When you're thinking about someone you hadn't seen in a while, and you see them the same day.. She was surely rubbing off on him way to much. But at the same time, it just made him smirk.. How ironic.

After taking a second glace, he spoke. "Elune?" He asked, as if he wasn't sure it was her.

He knew it was her.. But you never know. Maybe he just had her on the brain. It could've been some sort of a mirage his mind had created. Or maybe another Soq that just looked a lot like her. However, he was betting it was her. It had to be? What other Soq could look so similar to her? There could be none! His wings seem to just randomly spread out, for no reason. He was so focused on the other Soq, he didn't even realize what he was doing. He just stood there, waiting for her to say something, as the wind whistled through his hair.

There he was, in all his splendor. Wings pushed high to the sky, framing him handsomely. The tones of his coat seemed warmer than the last time she had seen him. There was something more than that. He seemed to be in high spirits. Maybe he was happy to be singing.

Gracefully, and head on, she moved closer to him, bridging the gap the forest had between them. She flowed across the forest floor, her legs and hooves moving, but her body and head remaining balanced. She only stopped when it seemed she would be too close to see all of him with out looking up. The picture he painted with his wings extended and the wind blowing through his hair was one she didn't want to miss.

Behind her ripe fruit, her brows raised and she smirked at him with eyes and mouth. Her eyes glanced at him from under their lids, with a locked gaze. With a tilt of her head, she continued to look at him, her eyes unmoving.

Her gaze fell. Gently, she leaned down towards the ground. Her hair fell around her in a cascade of black and purple as she released the apple onto the ground. It didn't fall over, and didn't move from the spot she left it. As soon as she had let go of the apple, she returned her icey eyes to the red stallion. Her head was still pointed down, but her gaze was set on him. She lifted her head slowly, keeping her eyes fixed on him as she did. Her hair parted back to the sides of her neck.

She blinked once, looking to the side as her head tilted in a flirty way, with a short gusted exhale. A loud smile if you know the sound. Looking back at him, with her chin lifting a bit, she gave him a short greeting. "Hello." a simple greeting, but her voice was bursting with life.

He couldn't help but she smile as she made her way closer. How lucky was he that he would run into her again. Granted, it was the same forest they had met in before. But, this was a first for him. He had never come across the same Soq twice. Even if there were some he wouldn't mind seeing again, he just hadn't yet. Well, with the exception of two Soq.. But they didn't count.

He continued to watch her, until she stopped. But even then, he kept his gaze on her. Watching as she put the fruit in her mouth down. Examining, as her mane followed like a waterfall around her. To only see her bring her stare back to him. With her eyes, that he could only compare to stars. It seemed that they had both been in a rather pleasant mood this evening. It was just something one could automatically tell. Toki himself could tell she was much more lively then their last encounter.

He paused for a moment, before commenting back to her greeting. " You know, I was just thinking about you." He nodded with a smile.

He wasn't sure if that was something he should've said. But he wasn't afraid to say things like that either. It was true he had only been thinking about her.. Moments before she popped out of nowhere. So, why not share? There was nothing wrong with thinking about someone you had meet before. Especially when they had left such an incredible impact on you. Sure, that was something he wouldn't share at this moment. But, maybe, he would one day.

Her chest filled with air as she took in a deep breath, then let it go slowly. Her breath stilled with his words though, somehow filling her shadow marked cheeks with color. What had he been thinking about her for? To be fair, he had been on her mind too. He had gifted her with dreams of flight. Each morning a different one. But all had the same subject: Toki. She had watched him fly, flew through his eyes like her first daydream when he took flight before her, and even dreamed of flying herself. He had sparked her imagination, given her an unsaitable desire for her dreams. And now, here he was again. Wings and all.

She smiled out loud again. "You have not been far from my minds eye either." No need to go into detail. They were dreams after all, even if she could control them.

A shiver washed over her with another thought. The first time they met, her song had lured him to find her in the wood. Now, on this second meet, his song had done just the same. It had found her ears, and pulled her to where he was. "Your song told me you were here." she said, putting an emphasis on the last three words.

He was glad it wasn't just him with her on his mind. It could've sounded a bit weird if she didn't reply to his comment the way she did. Toki was also pleased with what she said as well. There was something about Elune that just brought him such great joy. And he was happy there was something about him that kept him on her mind. It didn't really matter what it was. It only mattered that they were in each others mind.. For good reasons.

A playful smirk took over his face. "It's very easy to be found when you're singing." He paused. "I think you and I can relate to that."

It wasn't surprising that song would bring them together once again. Music not far from either of them.. It what something that probably couldn't be helped. It was also an amazing way to feel connect to someone with. There were so many ways you could relate to someone with music. It was endless, really. With two Soq, or anyone for that matter. Share it, they're able to express themselves in endless ways to each other. Sometimes.. In the most wonderful and beautiful ways possible.

Toki also, probably, wouldn't tell Elune that the song he was singing, for some reason, reminded him of her. Not now anyways. But maybe one day, if they're so lucky to meet once again. He'd tell her, maybe even sing it to her. (D'awww. :'D)

She was positively glowing. Had fate never brought the two of them together, her dreams might of been in vain, or lost their color over time. These dreams were a fresh muse for her life. She only had Tokidoki to thank for all of it. It could wait.

This moment was about song.

Funny indeed, that music seemed to be the one thing they shared. Singing was as much a part of her, as the air she breathed. It made her wonder if all soquili were as musical as she. Toki was after all. "I can. I am glad you decided to sing. Here we are again." she said as she stepped around the apple and up to Toki. Without thinking about how close she was, she smiled at him with an electric glow. She was innocent as far as what was personal space. She only knew that something in her seemed to gravitate towards him at the moment. Elune was delighted to run into him again. She did hesitate when the urge to stretch her chin and nuzzle him arose. Touch was a foreign land.

With a playful lift of her shoulder, she looked away, still smiling. It was almost overwhelming. The first time they met, she was untamed in the presence of another. She had of course warmed up to him. But this time...there was no fear, and only a sense of desire. She had wanted to meet him this time. The thought made her feel warm. Her mind was giving her a complex about him, one that would only make her like him more. Attraction is an odd force, when you don't know what it is.

"What were you singing to?" she asked, looking at him out the corner of her eye, then turning her face back to him with a low flirty angle. She didn't think to ask who he was singing to. She was one to sing to her forest after all, and all that lived in it's grasp.

"I'm glad too." He continued to smile, letting out the friendliest wink possibly.

Toki didn't mind when Elune stepped close to him. He didn't have any issues with personal space when it came to friends. He always considered others he had a pleasant encounter with, friends. Perhaps he was using the word loosely. He didn't think so, and surely, meeting someone again had to mean something. So friends they were. Her so close to him, it was now completely obvious she was different. So much more energetic, and bubbly it seemed. I suppose her true self was starting to shine right through the first encounter with her. It was definitely a good thing!

"I was singing to whomever wanted to listen. Whether it was the trees, the birds, or other Soq who might care to listen.. Like yourself." Not an odd question at all.

That was how Toki usually was when it came to singing. He didn't sing to no one, or nothing in particular.. Usually. He just sang when he felt like it. And when he did, he sang to whomever wanted to listen. Or to whomever could hear it. It was nice to bring something new to someone sometimes. Hearing an unfamiliar voice might seem calming, or even exciting to some. And in other occasions, familiar voices could do the same. Toki was definitely pleased that Elune found him this time.

Elune let out a bell of a laugh, light hearted and free, as he winked at her. Such an odd gesture, yet it somehow pleased her. The soft crisp scent of the air, mixed with the warming smell of crimson filled her senses as she did. Toki had a most peculiar and enticing scent. She half wondered if he would still smell like the sky if he couldn't fly. She could get used to his smell...his voice...

Her thoughts mingled with his words. It mattered not his original intent of song, it only mattered to her that it had found her. In the right spot, at the right time. Had she been a little further, or woke at her normal time, then she could of missed it all. But no, just as the stars lined over this stallions back, fate had set them up to meet again. Even her breakfast, or dinner one might call it, had made her think of him.

The apple!

Elune pranced in place, lifting her chin and shaking her head, so that her hair danced about her neck. Her mind returned to the fruit she had carried. "I want you to have this Red." Stepping back and reaching down, she grabbed her apple just as before, by the base with her lips touching it's end every so gently. Turning back, she stood before him again, this time with the present in her mouth. It had reminded her of him and now she would give it to him.

Standing there in a most elegant and patient pose, she awaited his acceptance.

As her laughter filled the air for a single moment, it was very refreshing. He hadn't heard anothers laugh in a while. He couldn't quite put his finger hoof on what exactly she had laughed at. But, it didn't matter. It was such a cheerful laughter, it almost made chills run down his spine. His smile only became wider.. And that's all it seemed to be doing since Elune had appeared. There was something about her that just made him so light hearted. He probably couldn't take the smile off his face if he wanted to.. Though, if his expression were to change. His smile wouldn't be gone for long.

Watching Elune, she seemed to bring her attention back to the apple she had been carrying. Toki had almost forgot it was even there. She wanted him to have the apple? He couldn't just take it, even if she wanted him to have it. Especially since, it had probably been her breakfast. But he didn't want to decline it, and possibly make her feel bad. You never know how someone will react when declining a gift. And he hadn't known Elune enough to know how she'd exactly react. He paused in thought, his smile changing to a more neutral expression, as he thought about what he should exactly do. His expression quickly changed, now to a charming smirk. He had an idea.

"I couldn't just take it.. How about we share it?"

He didn't wait for her to answer him back. Stepping closer to her, his head leaned closer to hers. His lips barely touching hers, he took a bite. Almost big enough to be half the apple. But before he stepped back, he gave her another delightful wink. Taking his head back, while stepping a bit back. He munched on, practically, half the apple he had taken from her. The refreshing taste filled his mouth, as he smiled at Elune. He hadn't had any sort of fruit in a while, it was almost like he had never had an apple before.. This made him want to visit his two-legger. Perhaps he should. Finishing up the apple, he gave his wings a stretch. Shaking off his mane afterward, making sure the shades over his eyes didn't fly off. What a refreshing breakfast that was.

"Thank you." He continued to smile.

Standing there every so patiently, her shoulders lost a little life as he declined her offering at first. She wasn't going to insist he take it, but she wanted nothing more than for him to have it. Her heart lifted right back though, when he suggested they share it instead. How did one share an apple anyways?

Before she could try to speak from behind the apple, her vision was focused to the red face that was now moving in closer to hers. Her heart must of stopped beating before skipping off at a steady race like speed. Her body braced itself, not moving or stepping back to flee from his intimate approach. The bristled warmth of his lips, as he grazed them against hers sent electric shock through her senses. She dared not move as he bit the apple clean in half.

Well that was one way to share and apple..

Slightly dazed by the near intoxicating closeness of her brilliantly crimson friend, she blinked and set the apple down on the ground. She hesitated a moment before biting off the round plump top of the remaining half. The apple was cool and moist in her mouth, a delightful burst of flavor. "Delicious." Nipping up the remaining piece every so gracefully, she finished it of and smiled. Her eyes and mouth suggested that she might of been blushing, except no color flushed to her cheeks. It was only half blushing.

Straightening herself, she took in a slow breath, raising her chin, and then lowering it again as she exhaled. "Your welcome." and she was also thankful that he had decided to share. Share an apple, share a slight touch. Too bad there weren't more apples to share in such a way..

He was glad she didn't express any sort of negative reaction to anything. If she did, problems could've possibly arised. Which wouldn't be quite good.. Toki wasn't much for conflict. And being in conflict with a friend, was definitely worse then a stranger.

Stepping back a little, he looked out to the sky. Being completely distracted by Elune.. He didn't realize the sun had already began to set. The sun setting, and rising were such beautiful sights. Especially when flying in them. The colors just seem to paint you as their reflection. As it would paint the waters below it, ever so perfectly. I would be dark soon enough. Toki and Elune would then be where they had started at their last encounter. In the dark, the moon shining bright. Stars, like little diamonds surrounding them.. Now, what would they talk about this time?

Bringing his attention back to Elune.. He stared at her for a moment. His expression still unchanged. The sun seemed to had made it's way through the trees and slightly painted them both. Elune's colors seem to look slightly different.. Almost as if she was a different Soq, a stranger. Her colors suited her much better without the sunset playing tricks. She was just perfect, the way she was.

Thinking there had been silence for to long, he opened his mouth. "So! What have you been up to?" He asked, almost completely out of nowhere.

Elune took precise baited breaths as she stood there in the moments of silence. Her mouth quickly dried as the taste of the apple diminished. The thought of Toki's slight touch of his crimson lips did not diminish. As she glanced around, trying to not think about it, she too noticed the change of color as day began to fade dangerously close to the unseen horizon. As if the very light itself was crashing all around them.

Her focus returned to Toki in a snap as he spoke, his voice almost startling her in the serene quiet glow. Everything seemed like a dream.. Toki was painted in tones of an almost pink, seeming touched by the fading light of the evening. The air seemed almost thick and tangible with the suns rays bouncing around the two of them.

"I've. Been dreaming." she muttered it in a velvet wave, saying it almost like it was a destination of travel. It was almost as if she was dreaming now, standing here in a flood of evening light. Sights like this were ones she wasn't accustomed to seeing. She couldn't recall the last time she had been awake for evenings approach, nor it looking at dreamy as it did right now. The very light itself, seeming to twinkle with music as it made it's decent into darkness.
