First, we offer a list of the main regulations:

Go down a bit. I messsed up making that list.
Second, we offer a list of our prestigious racing units. We're expecting a new shipment of units soon, so be prepared for an update.

Below is an explanation of how our little operation works.
Registration for Racing is done as follows:
Make a post with your information. Here's a Sample:
Name: Guilliam
Starter Craft: F-29
Pick one of the two starter craft and you name above that. Easy, no? You'll be added to the records for future games.
Grand Vanguard Golden Phoenix Speedway is a Chat Room Dice Game. In a chat room, to roll the dice, type in //roll , and hit the enter key. This will throw 2 Six Sided dice. For rules on gameplay, see the rule list above.
Turns are conducted much like turns in a TCG{Trading Card Game}. Those of you who have played such games such as Magic: The Gathering, Yu Gi Oh!, or any of other numerous TCG's probably know what I mean. For those of you who don't, each turn is conducted in a number of phases.
Phase One - Weapons Phase 1 - In this phase, you may use a weapon stored on your unit. If you have no weapons, this phase is disregarded for the turn.
Phase Two - Movement/Weapons Roll Phase - This is when you roll to see how your turn will progress. The first digit in a roll is Movement. The second will be a weapon mentioned at the Unit List. The Number Rolled for a weapon is equal to it's level, so check the list. The List of Units and Weapons are subject to change at any time seen fit.
Phase Three - Movement Phase - Now, this is where you move forward a number of spaces equal to the number rolled for your movement roll, and take any movement augumentations into account. In Grand Prix rules, movement will be handled in a slightly different manner, to later be announced when a Grand Prix is held.{At least 3-4 people need to be level 3 Racers to hold one, as this requires}
Phase Four - Weapons Phase 2- If you didn't use a weapon in Weapons Phase 1, you may do so now. As mentioned in the rules, weapons may only be used once per turn.
Phase Five - End Phase - At this point, say End Turn to finish your move. The next player moves after this Phase.
Some of you may wonder how to race if you don't have AOL or AIM for dice rolling. Simply find an acceptable substitute with one of the mentioned programs and have he/she stand in for you in the race. This player is to roll the dice, but you must make all the strategic decisions with the weapons and unit selections.
Normal Racing will be conducted in the standard rule set. Money awarded for winning is NOT Gaia Currency. This is a Game created exclusively for the Grand Vanguard RP. Money awarded will be recorded by the Game Master and saved away in a record. This information can be freely accessed by requesting it from a valid GM. By speaking with a Valid GM, you can also buy new ships for racing. Remember, the list is subject to change, and the highest level craft may not always be the best for the job.
As of now, I am the only Valid GM for GV Racing. GMship will be given on request of a person deemed of acceptable character of becoming a Game Master.
This game is still in it's beta stage and is by no means complete. If you've a suggestion or a comment, I'd be glad to hear them. Just send a PM to me and I'll take it into consideration. I'm also looking for other unit pictures, so feel free to suggest units as well. Until then, play will be conducted under the current Rule Set. Enjoy all.
Lastly, a list of registered Racers is as follows:
Guilliam Yaeger
Craft: F-29
Yeah. Kinda sad, but with the introduction of the new features to Grand Vanguard, such a game will help to unwind and may serve to improve your financial status between missions. If you don't feel ready for a race for money, try it out for fun. As mentioned above, the rules are still abstract, and are subject to change when seen fit. As your GM, I wish you all the best of luck.
